PROPHETIC FUTURE OF WORLD EVENTS

PROPHETIC FUTURE OF WORLD EVENTSPROPHETIC FUTURE OF WORLD EVENTS

“The first few chapters of Joel give us a dramatic outline of the prophetic future of world events ending the age; it is stark realism of what is ahead! The first few chapters portray revival, famine, drought, atomic destruction and the Great Day of the Lord!” Joel 1:4, shows how satan choked away each revival that God gave until it organized!” In a moment we will reveal how the Lord restores back a great moving again at the end of the age, but now let’s concentrate on this. “Verses 5-14 reveal a famine for the Word of the Lord and the famine which will come upon the earth during the awesome days ahead.” Verse 10, “The field is wasted, the land mourneth, for the corn is wasted, the new wine is dried up and the oil languisheth!” “This reveals a famine for the Word, revelation and the Holy Spirit, the symbols corn, wine, oil.” Verse 12, “The vine is dried up and it speaks the rest of the trees are withered because joy is withered away from the sons of men! This is because they turned down the spirit of joy from God, and they suffered a drought of the spirit the same as a drought of water!” Verse 15, rings out during this time, “Alas, for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand, as a day of destruction from the Almighty shall it come!” This reveals that it is at the end of the age! Verse 16, “Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God!” It reveals the joy and the Holy Spirit was cut off from them! Now verses 18 -20, “reveal drought, famine and atomic desolation!” “How do the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate! O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field! The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.”

Joel 2:3, “gives another description how the land is a garden of Eden before them and a desolate wilderness after them after the flame devoured! Just before these events the black horse of sin and famine will ride out with the scales, and then the pale horse of death and starvation will follow hard on his trail!” (Rev. 6:5-8) “These verses in Joel reveal a “spiritual and physical famine” will run throughout the earth!” Joel 2:10, “shows the Tribulation of those days.” “The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.” “And verse 20 reveals that the Lord will remove afar off from you the northern army which is the Russian invasion on Israel at that time!” “But before these last events there is a great outpouring to the elect!” Verse 16 “reveals the Bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet!” Rev. 12:5 – “Joel 2:16, 23 reveals the great outpouring to His elect people just before these perilsome times and then again to the 144,000 Jews just before the Great Tribulation. Verse 28 -32, “these verses reveal the latter rain and the restoration of what was once taken away as revealed in Joel 1:4. – Verse 30 is a mysterious Scripture wherein two things are revealed. “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire, and pillars of smoke.” Now this looks like the description of an atomic explosion, but another thing, the Lord also appears in these things as a sign in the spirit world so it is a dual prophecy! But nevertheless Atomic War is revealed in these chapters! Joel 2:5 speaks like the noise of the flame of fire! This is an exact description of an explosion of fire!

“In the short period ahead we will begin to see in a minor way many of these events making their way into the world until they become more major as each day goes by until they finally end up in the Great and terrible day of the Lord! Joel 2:31!” These first few chapters of Joel are sometimes not in consecutive order as when the events will take place. Sometimes it is dealing with Israel and sometimes what will occur with the Gentiles! “It is a double prophecy, so one can read the first few chapters of Joel and can see where we are headed in the very near future!”
