DIVINE HEALING AND HEALTH

In this special writing our subject is divine healing and health. God revealed Himself in the Old Testament to His people under one of His covenant names as Jehovah-Rapha and it means, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” In the New Testament is says, “Jesus went about doing good and healed all that were sick and oppressed of the devil!” (Acts 10:38) And Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8) – The Lord is not only the creator of the body, He is also our divine healer! He is the world’s greatest physician! – He is the eye, ear, nose, heart and throat specialist! – “With proper faith He will never fail you! Jesus was never known to practice psychiatry, yet He has healed more oppression and mental cases than all of the experts together! And faith moves Him into action!” – “Jesus said, He that asketh, definitely receiveth. (Matt.7:8) – Ask anything in my name and I will do it!” (John 14:13 -14) “Trust Jesus and He will become your family physician! Use your faith and He will allow you to have long life in good health! (Ps. 103:4 – III John 2) And in the previous verses it says do not forget all of His benefits. Who forgiveth all of thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases!”

“Jesus definitely works miracles today because He gave the promise of healing in the great commission. And they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover! (Mark 16:15-18) Plus after Jesus left and returned again in the Holy Spirit, healings and miracles still continued. . . Acts 5:12, By the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people!” – “Even so that the shadow of Peter resulted in healing of many as he passed by! People from all around about brought their sick to be healed, and faith was so high that they were healed every one!” (Verses 15-16)

“Divine healing is absolutely a fulfillment of prophecy, Isa. 53:4-5, With His stripes we are healed! And He bore our sufferings, our pains and our diseases. In the New Testament it also says He bore our sickness and He has made us free from sickness!” (Gal. 5:1) Matt. 8:16-17, “confirms also what Isaiah said would come to pass in prophecy. Thus we clearly see that Jesus heals because He carried the sickness and diseases of the human race on the Cross! And He said, It is finished! This includes salvation. And it declares, by His stripes we are healed!” (I Peter 2:24) Another fulfillment of prophecy is found in Luke 4:18-19. – “Reach out and accept, all things are possible to him that believeth!”

Christ heals today because He is always the same! Heb 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and for ever!” “Men change, rivers and streams and locations change and laws change, but the Eternal God does not change! His power has never waned! He worked miracles before yesterday, and will do so today, and in the future as long as any sick simply believe in faith, He will always heal and save!”

“Jesus heals today because the nature of God is against sin and disease as we have already reported to you. And it has been said long ago, God is not the great I was: HE IS THE GREAT I AM! – His Word never changes. He is the same today and forever. So accept whatever you need and trust always!” – “Jesus heals because of His wonderful compassion. In connection with one of His first healings it is said that the Lord looked upon the afflicted one and was moved with compassion!” Mark 1:41, “Then Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched him, and said unto him, I will; be thou clean, and the leper was cleansed! – When the multitudes came with their afflicted ones to Jesus He was moved with compassion towards them. And He healed their sick! (Matt. 14:14) – And again two blind men cried out and said have mercy upon us, O Lord. And Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight! (Matt. 20:34) – So we see the impossible is made possible! – And He will definitely touch you as you ask, accept and believe Him!” (Matt. 17:20) – “We are reaching a time of unlimited potential wherein all things are possible. (Mark 9:23) Our generation will now witness the full power of the Lord to save and deliver as never before!”

“He heals today because He wants His people to glorify His name, The Lord Jesus. After He had worked many miracles the Scriptures say, And they glorified the God of Israel!” (Matt. 15:30-31) – And we also see that Jesus heals His people so that His people will have joy, strength and good health to witness for Him! Because some people are so sick that they are in no condition to witness and He wants them well so that they can testify! Also He wants to heal those who have severe mental problems. “As we see Legion was driven by demons and was tormented (in fact, this case was insane) and Jesus healed him! And said, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee!” (Mark 5:19) “The man obeyed and all men did marvel!” – “Jesus also heals today because it is a powerful means to win souls to Him. When Peter healed the lame man (Acts 3:1-2) who had never walked and commanded him to rise up, and he did, immediately he was healed and leaped for joy! In those days this miracle resulted in 5,000 accepting Jesus as their Saviour!” (Acts 4:4) “We are in a great outpouring and even more is coming to bring salvation to those willing to listen!”

“Jesus said to observe all things of whatsoever that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world (age)! So we see the Lord made it very clear that the promise of healing was to be in effect right down unto our very time!”

“Don’t forget ALL of God’s benefits it says. He will also give you divine health! Thus the Psalmist said so in Ps. 105:37. And even more pronounced in Ps. 103:5, “So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s! Believe and ye shall receive a change in your whole body!” “We see Moses enjoyed divine health. (Deut.34:7) For at 120 years old his ‘natural force’ was still going strong! Also concerning divine health Caleb has an amazing testimony!” (Josh.14:10-11) “So we see as the Lord so blessed His people under the Old Testament covenant giving them healing plus divine health; how much more will He do under the new and better covenant of grace! . . .The Scriptures command the believer to praise the Lord and to forget not all of His benefits! . . . He mentioned this so that human nature being as it is would definitely not neglect these beautiful promises! – And also do not forget that He promises to prosper and to meet the needs of all of His people. And He says, “Prove Me now saith the Lord! (Mal.3:10) That thou mayest prosper!” (III John 2) – “And blessed is the man that heareth and acts upon these promises! Wealth and riches be found in his house!” (Ps. 112:1-3) Yes, it says My God shall supply all your needs!” (Phil. 4:19).
