Jesus Christ now more than ever beforeJesus Christ now more than ever before

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord, (Isa. 55:8).” From the direction that the world is heading today, nobody knows what the future holds and what will happen to the natural man. This message is about the way God sees his children, no matter which way the world is headed. There are so many disasters today around the world, each claiming human lives, like the Corona virus. One wonders what is causing these things and when will it ever stop? The book of Matt. 24:21 reads, “for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This scripture informs us that things will get worse, but God has a way of escape for those who trust in him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, (John 14:6).”

Now is the time to go to Jesus more than ever; because soon we will not be able to help ourselves. Like the children of Israel in the wilderness, all we like sheep have gone astray from the way of the Lord. We need to acknowledge our transgressions for our sin is ever before us. We need to cry to the Lord saying, “hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities with the blood of Jesus Christ; purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” Everyone should be asking for mercy at this time, while there is still room for repentance; soon it will be too late.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit (Psalms 51:12). The joy of the Lord is so wonderful that it drowns every sorrow on the path of every child of God. The term Child of God in this context, refers to anyone who is saved and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Imagine the signs of the coming of the Lord. Jerusalem as a trembling cup in the hand of the nations of the world, terrorism, looming economic collapse, religious mergers, electronic wizardry, moral decay, someone’s army is always on the move, poverty, high profile stealing among those in power, corruption at every level, on-line education is actually educational death and decay. Our education is in our handsets, the environment where, people are now programmed and reprogrammed through various apps. The computers now think and instruct us. Very soon the world will welcome the dictator called the anti-Christ; and any person unsaved will bow to the beast and face taking his mark.

Many today do not know much about the children of God. This is because some preachers and supposed Christians have given the trumpet an uncertain sound; by their lifestyles, speeches and values (of the world and not after Christ). Let me make it plain, if you love the Lord Jesus Christ and are living for him and by his word; then study this testimony in Num. 23:21-23. The world can neither understand or able to judge us. God is judge, Jesus said, in John 5:22 “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” I will not judge the world but my words will judge all things, saith the Lord.
God called Israel my chosen people, like Jesus calls us his sons; as many as believe on his name. This is enough to put joy into our hearts. Israel during the time of Moses, gave God a problem with their disobedience. He punished them severely for their sins but they were still his chosen race. Nobody could come between God and the children of Israel; the same is the case today, nobody can come between God and a child of God. Only God handles the affairs of his children. God does not look at a child of his through the devil’s eyes or any accuser. God punishes for sin, but not at the devil’s bidding. If we sin as children of God, his word calls us to immediate repentance. If you are faithful to repent, God is ready and faithful to forgive your sins.
If you hold on to the Lord no matter your situation; God sees the blood of Jesus Christ all over you. Then you can understand when God said in Num. 23: 21, “He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel.” Israel was plagued with idolatry and fornication at this time, but the Lord told the devil and his companions, his vision of his people. I see no iniquity in Jacob, neither perverseness in Israel saith the Lord; but that does not mean he did not punish them for their sins. Remember we cannot dwell in sin that grace may abound (Rom. 6:1-23). It is wonderful to know that when the Lord looks at us, even in the face of the devil, all he sees is the blood, shed on Calvary covering us. He sees neither iniquity nor any perverseness in us. That said, we cannot take liberty for granted and do whatsoever we like; sin has its consequences. But when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

Num. 23:23 states “surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.” Balaam could not charm or use enchantment against Jacob or any divination against Israel. God was watching over his people. Today God is watching over us his children who are sons of God through accepting the blood of Jesus Christ. No enchantment or divination can prevail over us in Jesus Christ name, Amen. As Christians indeed, the devil and his agents put all kinds of pressure on us to live contrary to the statues and judgments of the Lord. Temptations and trials will always come but we must draw our strength from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Isa.54: 15 and 17 state “behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. — No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper: and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me saith the Lord.” This is the confidence of a sincere child of God. The economy is biting, uncertainty everywhere, politicians making false promises, religious leaders giving the trumpet an uncertain sound, technology carrying immorality worldwide, film producers, worldly musicians and religious deceit are shaping the youths for the worship of the coming man of sin. Run for your dear life today.
Jesus now more than ever should be our cry, because every disobedience and sin will be paid for soon. The storm is coming and the only place of refuge is in, “the name of the Lord which is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe, (Proverb 18: 10).” Study 2nd Sam. 22:2-7: the God of my rock, in him will I trust; —– I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies (sin, death, Satan, hell and the lake of fire). In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

2nd Sam. 22:29, “for thou art my lamp, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkness.” We are in the last days, darkness is covering the earth fast, prophecies are fulfilling, time is short, and the promises of the Lord are ever sure to those that believe. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life, (John 3:16). John1:12 reads, “but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

John 4:23-24 reads, “but the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” This is the hour we are in today; every believer must make their calling and election sure. Examine your faith and see how that you are in Christ. This is the time to stay in and obey Jesus Christ more than ever. Psalms 19:14, “let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalms 17:15, “As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness,” O Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. It is Jesus now more than ever; run for cover the storm is coming, and it might be too late for some people. We need the Lord Jesus Christ now more than ever. What and how do you go through life without Christ? If you have not repented of your sins and washed by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ you are lost. You need Jesus Christ now more than ever.
