THE SEVEN SEALSTHE SEVEN SEALS

Revelations 5:1 reads, “And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.” And a strong angel proclaimed with a loud voice saying, “WHO IS WORTHY TO OPEN THE BOOK, AND TO LOOSE THE SEALS THEREOF?” He has a book written within and sealed with seven seals on the backside. One may ask what is written inside the book and what is the importance of these seven seals? Also what is a seal?

The Seal is an evidence of a completed transaction. When a person believes and accepts  Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, the Cross of Christ, and is filled with the Holy Spirit; the presence of the Holy Spirit is the evidence of their sealing unto the day of redemption, Ephesians 4:30).

b. The Seal signifies a finished job
c. The Seal signifies ownership; the Holy Spirit signifies you belong to Jesus the Christ of God.
d. The Seal signifies security until delivered to the correct destination.

The bible confirms that no man in heaven, or in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look there on. This brings to mind the book of Hebrews 11:1-40. In this chapter was listed many great men and women of God, who worked with God and were found faithful but did not attain to the status of looking at the book with seven seals, not to talk of touching it and opening it. Adam did not qualify because of the fall in the Garden of Eden. Enoch was the man who pleased God and was taken right back to heaven that he should not taste of death (God gave Enoch this promise and it is done, that disqualifies him from being one of the two prophets of Revelation 11; he shall not taste of death, a type of the translation saints who will not taste of death). Enoch did not qualify for the seal job.

Abel, Seth, Noah, Abraham the father of faith (to who the promise of the seed was made, has a bosom called Abraham’s bosom but did not make the mark. Moses and Elijah did not make the mark. Remember all the acts of the Lord by the hand of Moses. God even called Moses up to the mountain and over saw his death. God sent a special chariot of fire and heavenly horses to carry Elijah back to heaven. Yet he did not make the mark. Both Moses and Elijah loved the Lord, obeyed him and had enough faith to be found on the mount of Transfiguration, but still were not found worthy to look on the book with seven seals. David and the prophets and apostles did not make the mark. No man was found worthy.

Surprisingly not even the four beats or twenty four elders or any angels were found worthy to even look on the book with the seven seals. But Revelation 5:5 and 9-10 reads, “And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to lose the seven seals thereof. —-And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: FOR THOU WAST SLAIN, AND HAST REDEEMED US TO GOD BY THY BLOOD OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE AND NATION AND HAST MADE US UNTO OUR GOD KINGS AND PRIESTS: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.” Now think and meditate on these words, He was able to take the book, open it and loose the seven seals; because he was slain and has redeemed us by his blood. Nobody was ever slain for mankind; God required sinless blood and that disqualified any human. No human blood could redeem man; only the blood of God by his Son, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David. David depended on the Lord as his root. David said in Psalms 110:1, “the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool.” Jesus Christ repeated it in Matthew 22:43-45. Read Revelation 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” Abraham saw my days and rejoiced and before Abraham was I am, St. John 8:54-5.

Lamb stood in the midst of the throne, and of the four beasts and the four and twenty elders. It looked as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which the seven Spirits of God are sent forth into all the earth. The Lamb came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. The most impossible for any created being was done by the Lamb, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Jesus the Christ of God. And when he took the book, all four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down worshipping and singing a new song of joy unto the Lamb. The angels in heaven, and every creatures which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the sea, and all that are in them were praising the Lamb, Revelation 5:7-14. Apostle John saw all these things in the spirit when he was taken up to witness these events.

These seven seals contain a lot of information about the last days, and up until the NEW heaven and the NEW earth. They are mysterious but God decided to reveal the true meaning of them at this end of time by the hand of the prophets. God reveals his secrets to his servants the prophet. John was an Apostle,   Prophet and had the privilege to receive these revelations. John said, “I saw when the lamb opened the first seal,” and so also the other seals.
