In this Capstone revelation script we would like to take into consideration an important prophetic view point concerning the Jewish Temple! Will it be built! Are the Jews now making plans? Through history there seemed to be a controversy whether it would be built or not! — “A report from Israel claims they have already gathered the stones, some news items say they are the same white color that were used in the Temple of Solomon or in other times when the Temple was built! It was pointed out during Herod’s rule, when Jesus came the first time, white stone was used — They report the foundation has been laid and the new synagogue is taking shape. Some even report upon good authority that it will be finished within two years or sooner! If these reports are true, and they definitely seem to be, and this is the Temple then it is one of the greatest signs to the Gentile elect that has been given in our age to prepare! — For soon the beast will make a covenant with the Jews! More on this in a moment!” — “The Jews are trying to get a peace agreement with the surrounding countries so they can finish this Temple, and probably will not complete it until such an agreement is made!”

The future — nevertheless, one day soon they will finish the temple — The Scriptures seem to clearly indicate this!” — “Now let’s get a definite word from the Bible in Rev. 11:1-3. Remember this chapter 11 is prophetic, future!” — Verse 1, “reveals John was given a rod to measure the Temple of God and the altar, and those worshipping at the end of the age! The rod was probably shaped like a staff!” — Verse 2, “he was told to leave out the measuring of the court outside the sanctuary; to omit it for it was given over to the Gentile nations to trample under foot for three-and-a-half years!” — “It seems to be two time periods given here! The first time period in verse 2 is the first part of the covenant in Daniel’s 70th week, when the Jews began their worship in the Tribulation Temple! They reestablish their sacrifice and worship!” — “And verse 3 refers to the last half of the week when the Temple is defiled! — In the middle of the week (seven-year period) the anti-christ breaks his covenant and interrupts and forbids Temple worship!” — “He will set himself up in the Temple as the false messiah! The bride leaves sometime before this! Also at this exact time according to verse 3, the witnesses challenge him!”

Next before we explain the Jewish covenant, let us describe what Jesus said in Mark 13:14, “But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand!) — Then it gives a warning to flee that the horrible part of the Great Tribulation has started!” — “It’s at this time that the mark of the beast begins! Notice this word that Jesus uses, abomination! A careful search of the Old Testament Scriptures shows that this word is used over and over with idol worship! It appears that when the anti-christ breaks his covenant that he will bring in the image of the beast and set it up in the Temple.” (Rev. 13:14-15) — “The appearance of the false christ with this image would be the abomination of desolation appearing in the Holy place! Jesus said, whosoever readeth let him understand!” — “Now, this image concerns also all the worship of the false religions that took on the worship style of the beast, (Rev. 17:5) but we do not have time to go into this as we want to stay with the Jewish subject part!”

Now concerning the covenant and Daniel’s 70th week (seven years)” — “We have this information. Dan. 9:27, where he makes the covenant and breaks the covenant causing the overspreading of abominations; he shall make it desolate!” — In Isa. 28:15-18, reveals the same covenant! — Isa. 28:15, “calls it a covenant with death and hell, wherein they made lies their refuge and that they were hidden under falsehood!” And in verse 18, “And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflow in scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it!” Dan. 9 verse 26, “revealing the final seven years says, the prince that shall come; meaning the anti-christ, makes this covenant with the Jews! Most believe that this will be a Roman prince or rising up from Roman territory!”

Jesus referred to this prince in st. John 5:43, I am come in my father’s name, and ye received me not: if another (prince — anti-christ) shall come in his own name, him ye will receive!” — “Many will receive this man as the real messiah, but others will refuse! And then terrible persecution starts upon the earth!” — “In II Thess. 2:4, 9-12, Paul gives an almost photographic description of this son of perdition, the very lawless son of hell!” Verse 4, seems to be saying it in this manner, “Who opposeth and exalts himself so proudly and belligerently and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshipped, (even to his actually) taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God!” — Also Dan. 11:36-38 “sees this king of doom magnifying himself above all in a strong hold of wealth! He will control all gold, resources and land! He will be like the ‘gold head’ in early Babylon.” (Read Dan. 2:32 — Dan. 3:1) — “There is one more description of this boastful wizard given in Ezek. 28:2-4. It’s the exact description that Paul gave in II Thess. 2:4!” — “Now some of this chapter speaks of a former king and of Satan also, but a quick glance by the power of the Holy Spirit reveals it goes way beyond this!” Read also verses 12-15. — “Verses 16 and 18 reveal he actually polluted the temple with violence and merchandise! The latter part of verse 18 reveals he was created with actual destruction in him!” — “These verses are addresses to Satan also to his evil genius the human ruler who appropriates to himself the honors due only to God! He attributes to himself divine rights and is seen as a foreshadowing of the beast at the end of the age!” — Dan. 7:8, 20. Verse 21, “reveals as he sits in the Temple he makes war with the Tribulation saints!” Rev. 13:17-20 — “the original Biblical language calls him, the brutal desolator, who plants his operations between the seas and the glorious Holy Mountain (near Jerusalem) and will come to his end!” (Dan. 11:45).

Before we finish, various people have wondered will there really be an idol of this sinister figure?” — Some Bible translators say in the original Greek rendering, here is what Rev. 13:14 reveals “By the magical signs (miracles) he is allowed to perform in the presence of the (first) beast, he deceives those who inhabit the earth, commanding them to erect a statue (an image) in the likeness of the beast which was wounded by the (small) sword and still lived! (Or a small weapon able to wound unto death!) It goes on to say he imparted the breath of life into the statue who could actually talk, and those who did not bow down were killed!” — Read type of this Dan. 3:1, 5-6 — (“We will leave this to the reader to discern. Is it actually possible for all of this to take place somewhere between the years 1980 and 88?”) — “With the evidence and the prophetic signs it does seem it could occur during the time mentioned! One thing it seems for sure, if all is not finished by that time it will be in the middle of a great catastrophic overthrow! Of course it could happen even sooner. So let us all watch and pray!” — “Remember the church elect goes before the final part of the Great Tribulation!”

Here is some substantial or final evidence concerning what Jesus said about this last generation!” St. Matt. 24:32-34, “He spoke about the budding of the Fig tree (Israel) that the same generation that sees this budding will see the final end! Israel began to bud about 1946 and became a nation in May 1948. Most believe a Bible generation is about 40 years! So according to Jesus’ words the time (age) should begin to terminate about 1986-88!” — “We are in the last generation! And Jesus said, that generation would be shortened!” (Verse 22)
