NOW IS THE SEASON TO COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS NOW IS THE SEASON TO COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

Every day we should take time to reflect on the goodness of God to you personally and how healthy is your relationship with him.  Remember Christianity or being saved is not a religion but a relationship. It is between you and Jesus Christ. He is your all in all. Since your relationship with Jesus Christ, have you been faithful to him in everything? No of course is the answer. You said the truth, for only God is Faithful. Remember John 3:16 this day and always, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Now do you believe?

Only divine love can do this deed. We owe it to God to return divine love to him by the working of the Holy Ghost in us. Divine love gets, understands and acts on revelation. This is found in every true believer;

  1. A look at Luke 2:7-18, the angel of the Lord appeared unto the shepherds by night and told them about the baby in the manger, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, Wonderful Counselor, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). This was talking about Jesus the Christ. The shepherds were moved by revelation, believe and divine love (they were not the only shepherds in Judea) to go looking for the baby by the revelation of the word through the angel of God. The bible today is still the word of God. Divine love met divine love and they met with The Mighty God and worshiped him and spread the good news, (witnessing).
  2. The wise men from the east of Jerusalem in Matt. 2:1-12, saw an unusual star and knew there was something to it. It meant a King of the Jews was born. For the young child they had traveled for who knows how long to come and see the King; The Mighty God and have so much divine love to believe and now have come, not only to see but to worship the King, The Everlasting Father. In verse 9-10, “lo the star which they saw in the east went before them, till it came and stood where the young child (6-24 months may be, not a baby) was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.” When they found and saw the young child with Mary his mother, they fell down and worshiped him and gave him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.” They were warned of God in a dream not to return to Herod, so they departed into their own country another way. They were not Jews but from another country but divine love chose them and brought them to The Everlasting Father. According to Brother Neal Frisby CD #924, GIFT OF LOVE, he said the wise men gave a fourth gift to The Mighty God, ‘the gift of Love.’ He said it was divine love that made them to travel for may be weeks or months from their country, to see the young child through revelation by the star and dreams.
  3. What love do we give to Jesus Christ this season and always? Can God speak to you through signs and you will see divine love in it or your doubts? The shepherds and the wise men passed the test of divine love that led to the worship of The Mighty God, The Almighty. They worshiped him without a doubt. Today two scriptures face us; you decide which one is where you can be found. Firstly 2nd Peter3:4—- (where is the promise of his coming?) doubters, and Secondly, Hebrews 9:28— (and unto them that look for him shall he appear—–) and 2nd Timothy 4:8, (—– but unto all them also that love his appearing.) You have to look for, and you have to love, his appearing. It takes belief in the promises of God, for the Spirit of God to flow through you in divine love. Our own way today as the shepherds and the wise men, is to come to The Mighty God in worship and believe to allow the Holy Spirit flow in us with that divine love that is required for the translation. No wonder brother Paul said, in 1st Corinthians 13:13, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love).” No wonder the scripture said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,” this is divine love and it must be found in us to make the translation, which is for those who love his appearing. Now you can examine yourself and see how much of that divine love you and I have for the Lord, for the Lost, for our neighbors and for our enemies.

I thank God for this Christmas and New Year season. God cared so much to make me and cared also to come and die for me on the Cross of Calvary. He made me but I strayed through sin; yet He loved me and came looking for me. Has he found you? This is the season to appreciate the goodness of the Lord. Let us keep it simple. Let us count what God has done for us, and we call them blessings. Count them now. This is about you and me. Think about how many times He has protected you. Think it out and flee from all appearances of evil. Flee sin, it corrupts and puts separation between you and God. Confess your sins and he is faithful and righteous to forgive and cleanse you, 1st John 1:9.

He allowed you to wake up today, did you thank Him? He allowed you to breathe his air and drink his water and eat his food, he gave you appetite, and did you thank him today? He has given us a house to dwell in and peace of mind. Have you thanked him for all these and for your health also? It is a blessing to see, to hear and to use our hands and feet. Thank God for your salvation and his precious promises. Now count your other blessings and give thanks to God for his goodness. This season is all about He who has given you these blessings; his name is Jesus Christ the Lord, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Make 1st Corinthians 13  and John 14:1-3, your scriptures for the year 2020. We all need to work at it; only divine love can guarantee you the translation. Count your blessings this season and thank God for Jesus Christ. Amen.
