Christ in Every Book of the Bible | Neal Frisby’s Sermon DVD #1003 | 06/24/1990

Now Christ is in every book of the bible; the Mighty Revelator. Let’s educate our souls; educate deep in our souls. Jesus is our Living Witness, the God of all flesh. Secrets are hidden in the scriptures. They are shrouded and they are couched at times; but they are there. They are like jewels that you have to hunt for. They are in there and they are for those that search them out. Jesus said search them out, find out all about them.

In the Old Testament, His name was secret. It was wonderful. But He was there, you see. It’s secret, but the Spirit now pulls back the curtains and reveals His spiritual character long before the world knew Him as baby Jesus. Now, the Spirit is going to pull back that curtain and let you know a little thing about that scriptural character, a long time ago, ever before He came as a little baby—the Savior of the world. Everything in the bible is interesting to me. If you read it right and you believe it, saith the Lord, you will love it.

Now, Christ in every book of the bible. In Genesis, He was the Seed of the woman, the coming Messiah, the Eternal Seed that might take on flesh, but He shed it by the fire. Glory, Alleluia! In Exodus, He is the Passover Lamb. He is the Lamb of God, the true sacrifice that would come to save the world from its sin.

In Leviticus, He is our High Priest. He is our Mediator. He is the Intercessor of mankind, our High Priest. In Numbers, He is the Pillar of Cloud by day; yes, He is, and the Pillar of Fire by night. Twenty-four hours a day, He gives us guidance and He watches over us. He neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is ever ready to meet every need. The Pillar of Cloud by day and the Pillar of Fire by night; that is what He is in Numbers.

In Deuteronomy, He is the Prophet like unto Moses, the God Prophet to Israel and the elect. He is the High Eagle that lifted Israel and carried them upon His wings. Oh my, how dramatic is He! He is the Prophet like unto Moses coming in the flesh. I feel Him coming like fire everywhere, that Great One.

In Joshua, He is the Captain of our salvation. You said, “Have I heard that before?” You know, we give titles in other sermons that sound similar. This is totally different here. So, He is the Captain of our salvation in Joshua, our Angelic Leader, and Angel of the Lord. He is the Head of the angels with that flaming sword.

In Judges, He is our Judge and our Law-giver, the Valiant One for His people. He will stand for you when no one else will stand for you, when everyone turns against you; but the Valiant One, if you love Him, will not turn against you and all your enemies will flee. At the end of the age, even though some will go through great tribulation, He will stand with them. Some may even give their lives, but He is standing there. He will be there. Let’s pray for the translation. Boy, that’s the place to be.

In Ruth, He is our Kinsman Redeemer. Did you ever hear the story about Ruth and Boaz? That’s what that was all about. So, in Ruth, He is our Kinsman Redeemer. He will redeem…who are the kinsman [kinsmen]? They are believers. But who are they? Who are the kinsman [kinsmen] to Jesus? They are the Word people, saith the Lord. They have my word. That’s my Kinsman Redeemer [people], not the church systems, not the names of the systems. No, no, no, no. Those that have my word in their hearts and they know what I am talking about. They obey the word. Those are the Kinsman Redeemer [people]. The word people; that’s the Kinsman Redeemer [people] right there. You see, you can’t sbe kin to Him unless you believe all of that word. He is full of mercy.

In I and II Samuel, He is our Trusted Prophet. What He said is [the] truth; you can count on it. He is the faithful Witness; it even says so in Revelation. He will stay with His word. I have something about Kinsman Redeemer. Sometimes, in this life, people are divorced, things happen to them. Some of them have never heard about Christ when these things happened. When they become converted and God converts them, He will do what He did to the Pharisees; writing on the ground, He told them, “Cast the first stone, if you have never sinned.” He told the woman, “Sin no more” and He let her go. Many people today—the Kinsman Redeemer—they will come in and something happened in their life. They may have slipped or married again, but some of them do this—they shouldn’t do it—instead of believing the whole word of God, they find a better way out. They say, “That part [what the bible says about divorce], I don’t believe it.” No, you take that word and ask for forgiveness. It said what it said. How many of you believe that? Those that it has happened to them in their lifetime, there is forgiveness. Now, we don’t know every case, who caused what; but when you hear the word of God or you happen to be here this morning, don’t say, “Well, that part of the bible on divorce and all that, I don’t believe that part of the bible. “ You believe that part of the bible and ask God to have mercy on you. Do like Daniel and take the blame anyway. Put your hand in God’s hand and He will do something. So many of them come to church today, and when they do, He is their Kinsman Redeemer. He is married to the backslider. If they try not to take that word away because it say that [divorce] is wrong; but keep it there and repent in their hearts, God would hear those people. It’s when you turn that word down that He does not hear you. How many of you believe that? He’s done that Himself this morning; that was not listed, but He is here. So many people will come in, you know; something might have happened in their lives, people start condemning them and they just leave the church. They don’t even get a chance. Leave it in the hands of God. Whatever it is, it must be left there—like He wrote on the ground. Now, listen here, He is the Law-giver, the Valiant One here, in I and II Samuel.

In Kings and Chronicles, He is our Reigning King—that is what He is there. In Ezra, He is our Faithful Scribe. All His prophecies will come to pass. He is our Faithful Scribe. You say, “Is He a Scribe? Sure, He is our Ancient Scribe. All of His prophecies, almost now, have all come to pass. They will all come to pass, including my return, saith the Lord. It will come to pass. The Faithful Scribe and the faithful Witness. Oh my! That’s it right there. He is a reigning King. It is interesting how all these things are couched in the bible.

In Nehemiah, He is the Rebuilder of the broken walls or shattered lives. That’s what He is in Nehemiah. Remember the walls that were torn down, He built them back up. He brought the Jews back again. He will heal the broken hearts. The troubled ones, He will lift up their souls. Only Jesus can build those broken walls and those shattered lives. How many of you believe that? It is exactly right. In Nehemiah, that is what He is.

In Esther, He is our Mordecai. He is our Protector, our Rescuer and He will keep you out of pitfalls. That’s exactly right. In Job, He is our Ever-Lasting and Ever-Living Redeemer. There is no problem too hard for Him, as Job Himself found out, and how He is the Great redeemer there. Amen. Ever-living Redeemer. Oh, he [Job] said he would see Him.

In Psalms, He is the Lord, our Shepherd. He knows every name personally.  He loves you. He knows you. Amen. You mean like He did David when he was lying out with the sheep at night and all night long, looking at the heavens, and praising God out there by Himself as a little boy? He knows you just as well. He knows all the creation and all about it there. If you really believe it in your heart, your faith will grow by leaps and bounds there. So, in Psalms, He is the Lord, our Shepherd, and He knows all of us.

In Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, He is our Wisdom. He is our Eyes. In the Songs of Solomon, He is the Lover and the Bridegroom. Oh, you say, “In Proverbs, He is our Wisdom and our Eyes?” If you read it, you will believe it in there. In the Songs of Solomon, He is our Lover and He is our Bridegroom. You say, “Solomon was writing all that? Sure, there was a divine purpose behind his writing. There was a divine purpose behind his singing. God was his song. Amen. The Lover and the Bridegroom He was in there. Solomon brought it out more than anybody about that.

In Isaiah, He is the Prince of Peace. Did you know He is good news to the Jews in Isaiah? He will bring them and put them in their homeland. He will visit them during the Millennium. The whole nation will give obedience [to Him] in there. Good news to the Jews in Isaiah. He is the Prince of Peace. How great and powerful is He there!

In Jeremiah and Lamentations, He is our Weeping Prophet. He wept in Jeremiah and He wept in Lamentations. When He came to Israel and they rejected and turned Him down, He was all alone, and He wept over Israel. He would have gathered them, but they would not come. That is also true today; if you preach the true gospel, the right kind of gospel, it seems to drive them rather than bring them in. They [preachers] change the gospel for the people and they all go down into the ditch, saith the Lord. Let it stand. That is exactly right. There is only one way and that is the road that He prepared and made Himself. Broad is the way, the Lord said Man, that thing [broad way] is stretched out there with ten times, ten million/billion on that road out there, and every one of them will tell you that they’ve got some kind of religion or some kind of God, but as soon as the word goes out, you look down the road and you can’t see anybody. It looks like a plain with little bits of water coming upon it; everything is gone there. Oh, but the Lord in predestination and providence, you can’t outdo Him. He knows exactly what He is doing. He has got more than that [the people on the broad way], that are going to come in at the end of the age, and those that do not want to come in; He is going to filter them out. He knows what He is doing. He’s got a plan in the thing; He has got great plans in there.

In Ezekiel, He is the Four-Faced Man, the Great and Burning Wheel. He is the Light, I wrote, in beautiful colors to His people. How beautiful He is! In Daniel, He is the Fourth Man, the Fourth-Man God, That’s right. He is the Fourth Man in the fiery furnace; because He was the real fire, when He set down with that, the other fire could not penetrate the Eternal Fire. There He was, the Fourth Man. How great He was with Daniel and the three Hebrew children!

In Hosea, He is the Eternal Husband, He said, forever married to the backslider. So, I guess He would return at the end of the age. So, the Eternal Husband to the backslider, wanting them to come in.

In Joel, He is the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost. He is the True Vine. He is the Restorer. In Amos, He is our Burden-Bearer; all of your burden, He will carry away, everything that troubles your mind and the things that weigh on you. Sometimes, your physical body may get tired; but it may not be what is bothering you, it may be mental problems. Now, this world is good at that. There are mental problems, hang-ups of all sorts on every side that you can think of. Wait until I get to the sermon, “Are you crazy?” Tune in on that one. What are they going to call the elect at the end of the age? Wait and see what the sermon is about. It is going to be a good one too. He is our Burden-Bearer, but there are so many mental problems in the world everywhere. Some of you think about that for a while. It [the world] burdens you down with problems and oppression, and all of these things. Remember; He will carry that mental burden, and the physical burden and He will give you rest.

In Obadiah, He is our Savior. He is our Time and Space. He is our Infinite too. He is our Revealer of space. Let me say something: though, men may exalt themselves as the eagles in the heavens and build nests among the stars—platforms, He will say, “Come on back down, I want to talk to you over here”

In Jonah, He is the Great Foreign Missionary. Oh my! The Great Foreign Missionary. He is also the God of compassion over all that great city. His own prophet really didn’t want to do the job and He had to put him through the grinder. Finally, when he got out, he did the job. Still, he wasn’t completely satisfied. But the Great God of compassion had compassion even on the animals, on the people and on the cattle. It showed His heart was there. He was trying to show that. The Great Foreign Missionary, God Himself.

In Micah, He is the Messenger of [with] Beautiful Feet as He walks among us in Micah. In Nahum, He is our Avenger of the elect. He is the Hero of the elect. How many of you believe that? My! How great He is! In Habakkuk, He is the Evangelist pleading for revival, the same as Joel, He is pleading for revival. In Zephaniah, He is the Mighty to save. There is no sin too great; He is the Mighty to save. Apostle Paul left it in the bible, “I was the chief among sinners,” and God saved Paul–after all that happened to him–being incredible for anyone to believe. But Paul believed it and God used him. So, don’t tell the Lord today—if you are new here—that your sins are too great. That is another excuse. Actually, that is [those are the people] what He is looking for. They really make good people; sometimes, they make good witnesses and so forth in their lives. He said to them [the Pharisees], “I am not looking for the righteous and those that already got me; but I am looking for sinners, the ones that are burdened down, mentally and physically. I am looking for them.” So, He is Mighty to save. No sin is too great.

In Haggai, He is the Restorer of the Lost Heritage. He will bring it back to the original again. In Zechariah, He is the Fountain opened in the House of David for sin and mistakes. He would do that. How many of you believe that? Amen. So, He brings it back; Zechariah, He is the Fountain opened in House of David for sin, mistakes or whatever it is in there.

In Malachi, He is the Sun of Righteousness rising with Healing in His Wings, working miracles today. You notice; every book of the bible, don’t you know the devil is walking on fire? He can remember every time that God struck there and ran him off. He is getting run off in every chapter of this bible. Amen. He puts him to flight in every chapter one way or the other. Oh my! He [Christ] is working miracles today, rising with healing in His Wings.

In Matthew, He is the Messiah, the Loving Care, the Caretaker, and the Great One that does it. In Mark, He is the Wonder Worker, the Amazing Physician. In Luke, He is the Son of Man. He is the God Man. In John, He is the Son of God. He is the Great Eagle. He is Deity. He is the three in One Spirit. He is the Manifestation, but it is One Spirit. That’s what He is. John tells us all about it in the first chapter.

In Acts, He is the Holy Ghost moving. He is walking among men and women today; everywhere, He is working among us. In Romans, He is the Justifier. He is the One that is the Great Justifier. He will do that; what is right. No man on this earth will do right. They can’t balance anything out. But He is a Great Justifier. He understands your problems. He knows all about you.

Now, in 1and II Corinthians, I He is the Sanctifier. He is the Perfector. He will perfect you. He will bring you into that; unless you can receive messages like this, how in the world can He perfect you at all? Amen. Notice that HeHeHe leaves no escape, no way to condemn and no way to criticize—I don’t even care if it was when He was writing on the ground—He still hung in there; He forgives, but it has to be done right. How many of you believe that? We’ve got self-righteous people today; and boy, they hit the people and this people have not even heard the gospel when something happened. I just pray and hand them over to God because there is mercy in the bible. Maybe, some of you out there have been criticized, I don’t know. But it was a hang up a while ago, and I know the Holy Spirit, and He has preached this today. There is no way you are going to put your finger on it. He told me that already. He’s got each place where He has been there. If you don’t know Jesus was beforehand; He told the Jews Abraham saw my day and he was glad, before he was, “I am.” How many of you believe that? Great is the Lord! Like we said a while ago, if God and the Father were two different people, then Jesus would have two fathers; nay, nay, nay, saith the Lord. One. Listen, He is the Holy Ghost moving in there, the Justifier.

In Galatians, He is the Redeemer from the curse of the law, and all that goes with it. He redeems you from all of the curse. The Jews say that they are still under the law, but He has redeemed everything from there. In Ephesians, He is the Christ of Unsearchable Riches. Good nuggets today; unsearchable riches. You cannot search Him out, David said. He is so great. It is impossible [to search Him out]. It is like the universe itself and the universes out there; you find no end to them, in His great unsearchable riches.

In Philippians, He is the God who supplieth all needs, if you know how to act with Him. He is the God that supplieth. In Colossians, He is the Fullness of the Godhead Bodily. Oh my! God is really great. That anointing here; these little pieces in every book in the bible have something to it. I mean that each time that there is a memory—you talk about nostalgia, people do—but in the Holy Spirit as He comes in Genesis showing who He was and to Exodus, right through the bible, it’s like a memory. God is covering everything that He has done in that bible. Satan doesn’t want to hear that; no, no, no. He wants to think that when it turns black upon the earth—at one time, it will get so black on this earth at the end of the tribulation that mankind will think that finally, God has forsaken the earth. It would seem like when Jesus was on the cross; when all things turned against Him, all mankind, and everything was lost, and they would think that God has forsaken the entire earth. Then satan would be laughing, see? That’s what he likes to hear. Nay, God is still there. He will break through finally. He will come down in Armageddon over there. I have seen God, and He revealed to me such blackness, for days, maybe. It’s incredible what will strike the earth in there; old satan knowing all of that.

In Thessalonians [I and II], He is our Soon Coming King, our Light of Change. He is our Light of Change there. I tell you He is our Vehicle back to heaven when the translation is over with. You can call Him what you want; but He is my Celestial Craft out of here, however He comes. Amen? He is our Celestial Chariot, do you know that? He is the Chariot of Israel and He parked over them in the Pillar of Fire by night. They saw Him. They saw that Light, the Pillar of Fire. You know in the Old Testament, He is called the Pillar of Fire and in the New Testament, He is called the Bright and Morning Star. It’s the same thing. In Revelation, He says, “I will give you the Morning Star,” if you do what He says. They have always called Venus the Morning Star; it’s symbolic of Him. So, Pillar of Fire in the Old Testament and Morning Star in the New Testament. Did you know that on Venus, it is 900 and something Fahrenheit? That’s a regular pillar of fire, isn’t it? Can you say, Amen? The other planets are cold and foreboding on the other side, including Mars with its snowcaps. But Venus is hot; it’s got all of that stuff in it, it shines so bright like the Bright and Morning Star, the Pillar of Fire. That’s symbolism, see; up there, so hot. But in the New Testament, He is the Bright and Morning Star to us. He is our Light of Change, our Soon Coming King in Thessalonians.

In Timothy [I and II], He is the Mediator between God and man. He stands there. In Titus, He is the Faithful Pastor, the Overseer of those who have needs. He will oversee them. In Philemon, He is the Friend of the oppressed. You feel depressed, oppressed, and downtrodden? Nothing is going your way; everything seems to be going good for everybody else, but yourself. At times, you feel that nothing is going your way and never will go your way. Now, as long as you think that way…but if you go thinking that something good is going to happen, I believe God’s promises…it may take some time, you may have to wait some time. At times, miracles are quick, they are fascinating and speedy; we see all kinds of miracles. But in your own life, something is amiss sometimes; all of a sudden, a miracle will be yours, if you keep the door open, saith the Lord. Oh, you can’t shut it out to those miracles out there. He is the Friend of the depressed and oppressed, and all those who don’t know which way to turn. Oh, if only the …you see them walking, they don’t know which way to turn on the sidewalk all over the world, but He is the Friend of the oppressed. Do you know the sermon, “Earth Cataclysms’ that I just preached? He moved upon me to preach it; how the earthquakes are going to be so great and terrible in the world and different places I mentioned there. They had one earthquake in Iran. It just shook them to the ground. God knew that was coming before that sermon. There will be some more [earthquakes] too, all around the world in different places.

In Hebrews, He is the Blood of the Everlasting Covenant. He is the Shadow in the Old Testament of the Real Thing [One] to come. How many of you believe that? The Lamb and the Eagle; He was a Shadow, Hebrews said, of things to come, the Sacrifice. He was sacrificed; He took the place of the animal. Then the Shadow was made real; He was the Real Thing, then. Can you say, Amen? We’ve got the Real Thing, nothing but the Real Thing will do. How great He is in there? So, we’ve got it, the Blood of the Covenant, the Shadow is made real.

In James, He is the Lord who raises the sick and even the dead, and who forgives the mistakes and sins. He raises them [people] up and heals them. Be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven. Rise up, take up thy bed and walk. James said the same thing. That’s what He is in James, the Lord who raises up and heals.

In I and II Peter, He is the Good Shepherd who will soon appear. He is also the Head of the Corner, the Capstone, and the Main Stone of the building that He is building right now. So, it’s just right; we come down right through here, the Chief Shepherd who will soon appear in there.

In I, II and III John, He is simply stated as Love. God is Love. Then, where in the world is all the hate, criticism and gossip, and the stuff that is happening today—all kinds of backbiting, all the murmuring, crime wave, murders and the things that are taking place? Where did all that come in? The bible says He is a God of Love; it just states that in there. When mankind rejects His word and tells him off that He knows nothing; that is the mess that they wind up in. How many of you believe that He said that? Oh, that’s exactly right. See, unbelief is behind it all, saith the Lord. In Jude, He is the Lord coming with ten thousand of His saints, and they are coming with Him now in Jude.

In Revelation, He is our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. It says He is the Almighty. My! You ought to get some help out of that right now. You know, if you get those three manifestations in One and believe that Jesus is the One that has the whole power for your salvation, for your healing, and for your miracles, you will receive. You will have a sound mind and God will touch your body. But if you are confused, believing in and praying to three personalities, in three different places, oh, you can hardly get anything. It is better that you are one way or the other, saith the Lord. That’s exactly right. I have many of them trinity people; they get healed, they don’t even think about it, see? But once the other message [Godhead] is heard and they don’t come out and receive it, they go back into confusion. But God is real. He is not –yea, saith the Lord—“I am not the God of confusion.” If you only let Him into your heart and believe the word like He said, He will bring those together [those that believe the word] and when He does, they will produce the fiery Spirit of the Lord Jesus and He is there to save. The bible says there is no name in heaven or earth whereby a man can be saved or healed. There is just no other way and then the manifestation from one Light will go in three different ways. But when you make three gods and three different personalities, you’ve lost it; you’ve lost it, faith and all. It’s gotten away from you there. I know what I am talking about. The fire is not split and it is powerful, so powerful. In the book of Revelation, He is the Almighty.

Jesus is our Spirit of prophecy. He is the Spirit of the Holy Ghost of the nine gifts. Listen to this right here: Here, He is operating now. In I Corinthians 12: 8 -10, Jesus is our word of wisdom or it won’t work. Jesus is our word of knowledge or we won’t have any understanding at all. Jesus is our word of faith, and our working of miracles, and the gifts of divine healing. He is prophecy to us. He says He is the Spirit of prophecy. He is our discerning of spirits. Jesus is our divers kinds of tongues. Jesus is our interpretation of tongues, and things made real or all will be confusion.

Watch this in Galatians 5: 22-23: He is our Fruit of the Spirit. He is Love. He is our Joy. He is our Peace. He is our Long-suffering. He is our Gentleness. He is our Goodness. He is our Faith. He is our Meekness. He is our Temperance; against which, saith the Lord, there is no law. As I wrote at the end of this right here, He is all these things. He is our All in All. When you have Him; you have everything, and all things appearing throughout eternity, you have them. You are with Him. Jesus cares for all, every one of you. He cares. Praise Him. He is the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star. Oh my! The Creator, the Root and Offspring of mankind [David]. Read Revelation 22: 16 &17, down through there, read that: the Root and Offspring of mankind, the Creative Light of lights. He is our Holy City. He is our Paradise. It’s exactly right. How great! Oh! He is our Fruit of the Holy Spirit. He is our Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wasn’t it wonderful how He put that there? I only wrote and put that as He wrote it. Such a God of mercy!

Now, He told you, Christ in every book of the bible, the Mighty Revelator. He told you of His care, His love and of His mercy. He is a God of judgment too. That was brought out in there in the bible. With all these things that He has revealed to you, it should not be hard for you  to follow the Lord  and to do what He says because He is a Great One to us; every one of us. So, in every book of the bible, it explains His character long before baby Jesus came and became the Savior of the world. My, the Infinite! He is our Infinite One this morning here.

This will produce faith. It ought to lift up your spirits. I don’t see how anybody can touch anything there to say about it. Sometimes, if you are not where you should be with God, you will look at it [the message] and try to find fault; but if you are looking in the mirror and you say, “Am I right with God? Do I believe all of His word? If you believe all of His word, you will not have a word. How many of you believe that? I believe that with all my heart. I want you to stand to your feet. Every one of you, stand to your feet. God is great!

Note

Christ is our Real Star and Saviour”–Scroll 211, paragraph 5
