MIRACLES OF DELIVERANCE
“With the birth of Christ we can’t help but to think of salvation and miracles! – The Star that guided and drew the wise men to Jesus was a miracle, a sovereign and divine act! – They brought gifts supplying the needs of which His family needed. The cries of the baby Jesus were full of faith, for they were the cries of deity!” (Isa. 9:6) – The Bible says, He created the family that He came to! (St. John 1:3, 14 – Col. 1:15-17) – Heb. 2:4, “reveals to us that He is the God of signs, wonders and divers miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost according to what He Himself wills!” – “I would like to reveal that there are various types of miracles. And we classify them as miracles of deliverance, and of overruling nature, miracles of judgment, and of raising the dead and miracles of supply and, of course, miracles of all manner of healings. And indeed Jesus wants you to have a miracle in your life now and at all times!”
“Let’s pause for a moment and list some of the spectacular wonders that He did in the Old Testament. I Cor. 10:4, “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them: that rock was Christ! – We see the same Jesus in the wilderness providing for His people!” (Read verses 1 and 2) – “This wonderful Star is none other than the ‘Pillar of Fire’ – full of action to those who believe. For example, to encourage your faith, we read that in the wilderness where there was no source of supply, God caused the shoes and clothing of the children of Israel to be sustained by a continuous miracle! For it is normal for clothes and shoes to wear out, but God preserved what they had!” (Deut. 29:5 – Neh. 9:21) – “Also there was a miracle of divine health for His children that few people are aware of. Ps. 105:37, He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes!” – “Surely this will cause your heart to leap for joy and will bring new blessings for those who study and believe them! The Scriptures exclaim, ‘Is there anything too hard for the Lord?’ No! – The truth is, the average Christian is living beneath his privileges! And is a long way from realizing his full potential in the power of faith! Some Christians live their lives almost all together in the natural realm until the supernatural begins to sound strange to them. – But God would teach the children of Israel that He would supply their needs under any circumstance. If there is a valid necessity then there is always a way in the supernatural, no matter what it takes!”
Health and prosperity are the inheritance of the believer, but each promise must be claimed and acted upon or it will not do us any good! – Also remember that there can be no miracle unless there is inner expectation and anchored on the promises by faith! We might add that He also supplied the children of Israel’s food for 40 years! (Ex. 16:4)
“It’s surprising sometimes, but of course it’s human nature. – People worry about their clothing and their food; and those in the colder parts wonder about paying their fuel bills, but they forget those who believe in God’s ministry . . . He will supply their needs! – Food shortages and cold winters may come and go, but Jesus stays the same – yesterday, today and forever!” (Heb. 13:8) – Jesus admonishes, take no thought of food, clothing or energy supplies! (Matt. 6:31-34) – “Behold, saith the Lord, Remember ye that I said that, the barrel of meal shall not waste: neither shall the cruse of oil fail!” (I Kings 17:14) – “And those who give and support His work, like the woman did for Elijah, in that she gave what she had to help him, she had a continuous miracle on her hands! This is strictly written to encourage you, doubting nothing, but push on in faith! O, saith the Lord, should My people fully trust in Me they should see the greatest of exploits daily in their lives!” – “Come to think of it, every breath that we breathe from Him is a miracle! – The lesson here is, that God is not only able to set a table in the wilderness, but He is able to perform any necessary miracle in order to supply the needs of His faithful and trusting children! We have a wonderful Saviour, and He will not let a one of you down as you get behind His work! – It is unlimited what He will do for you! – “Be it according to your faith, saith the Lord, and act there upon! – For I will supply whatsoever that you believeth for! – Yea, saith the Lord, give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom!” (Luke 6:38) – For He goes on to say, “What ever you give it shall be given back to you, and even more so!” “This special writing was given by the Holy Spirit and was written to help all of God’s children and to build faith. Study it and you will be blessed in the days ahead!”
