GOD’S HEALING COVENANTGOD’S HEALING COVENANT

In this special writing the Scriptures reveal that healing was not just for the New Testament group, but it was God’s desire and covenant to definitely heal in the Old Testament. And it was to let us know how much more He would do for us today! The first miracle of healing recorded is found in Gen. 20:17, “When Abraham prayed and God healed Abimelech and his household! Also Abraham received a reward in connection with his faith!” (Verse 16) In Num. 12:13, “After Moses prayed the prayer of faith Miriam was healed of leprosy! Notice both cases was called a curse, so we see sickness is a curse wherein God through Jesus has lifted the curse from us through faith!” Also in Num. 21:8-9, “We see God worked a miracle concerning the deadly fiery serpents, when Moses lifted up the brazen deliverer, this alludes to Christ’s healing power!” (St. John 3:14-15) (The Bible reveals divine health, and Moses was a type of the Church for the end, healthy, sharp of sight (revelation) and strong in faith! Deut. 34:7, “And Moses was 120 yrs. old when he died! His eye was not dim, nor his natural forces abated! Just as Elijah was a type of the church at the end in power and translation!) II Kings 20:1, “we see a remarkable testimony, Hezekiah was sick unto death, and it was ‘thus saith the Lord’, but his great faith turned back his clock of destiny! It was startli-tling and unexpected. The Lord turned back time to work the miracle, causing it to be a compound dual miracle even dealing with creation, the heavenly bodies and the sun!” II Kings 20:11, “And the prophet cried unto the Lord and He brought the ‘shadow 10 degrees backward’, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz! It seems the laws of the solar system were reversed!” (Remember Josh. 10:12, faith) – “Determined faith will move the Creator as in the case of Elijah when he brought back the dead child to life!” (I Kings 17:21-24) “And we are living in a day now, according to prophecy the spirit of Elijah is again to return to earth and play a role in world and major events to the true and elect church! It will be covered with this type anointing!” – “Anyone with the proper attitude and the right observation can see the Lord giving a mighty outpouring as He is diligently gathering his elect!” But Solomon said in Prov. 24:7, “Wisdom is too high for a fool!” – “But the children of the Lord will be wise and also knowing these things!”

Ps. 34:17, “The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of ALL their troubles! Verse 19, Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them ALL!” – Ps. 27:1, “The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? – If God be for us who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31) – “The Bible confidently tells us that this comfort is around all of us who believe it, that is, accepting it as being there all the time!” – “Jesus has given deliverance from extreme fear, worry and sickness! In other words, deliverance for body, mind and soul!” “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid!” (St. John 14:27) – “Those believing in these Scriptures will be a sound being, a new creation and vibrating with the Lord’s anointed power! Praise Him!” – “My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth!” (Ps. 121:2) – Ps. 4:8, “He will give you peace and sleep, and you shall dwell in safety!” – Prov. 1:33, “But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely and shall be quiet from fear of evil!” – “See, use these words and promises any time that you need comfort; and ye shall dwell safely and have rest!”

Ps. 37:4-5, “Delight thyself also in the Lord; He shall give thee the desires of thine heart! Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and He shall bring it to pass!” – Ps. 27:13, David mentions don’t faint in what you want and you will receive it! And then in accordance with the various promises of God there is a waiting period! Verse 14, “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord!” – “Sometimes the answer is swiftly, other times there is a trusting period. In other words, sometimes it’s short term faith or times it’s long term faith, according to His will!” – “Here is wisdom, Prov. 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths!” – “Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite!” (Ps. 147:5) Ps. 34:7-8, “The angel of the Lord not only lives around you, but is able to deliver speedily! Keep these promises in your heart and you will prosper and be in health!” – Verse 8, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him!” – “I have and it has been true, and it will be in your case too as you work and pray together in His wonderful harvest!”
