WHO ONLY HATH IMMORTALITYWHO ONLY HATH IMMORTALITY

According to 1st Timothy 3:16, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh (born of the Virgin Mary), justified in the Spirit (raised from the dead and ascended to glory), seen of angels (at his resurrection and ascension), preached unto the Gentiles (by the apostles and Paul in particular), believed on in the world (every believer after the ascension and Pentecost), received up into glory (ascension). Some scriptures that should bring questions to your mind, include 1st Timothy 6:14-16, which states,  “Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ ( Rapture/Translation moment): Which in his times (the Translation, the Millennium, the White throne and New heaven and New earth) he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate (Most High, the Word, Power), the King of kings and the Lord of lords (Rev. 19:16); Who only hath immortality (1st Tim. 6:16), dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto: whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.  Consider the writing of Paul in 2nd Tim. 1:10, “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” Immortality and life is only found in Jesus Christ.

The prophecy in Isaiah 9: 6 states, “For unto us a child is born (Who only hath immortality), unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” He who died on the cross for our sins was not just a man but God in the likeness of man. He was “The mighty God”, “The everlasting Father” and “The Prince of Peace”. Deuteronomy 6: 4 states, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” Isaiah 45: 22 states, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” He did not say I am God the Father. If He did then where is God the Son and where is God the Holy Ghost? God took the form of man and came as Jesus Christ. God is a Spirit and that is the Holy Ghost. Immortality is unending existence, exemption from death, perpetuity; and ONLY Jesus Christ hath immortality and life. Only Jesus Christ can give you life and immortality. Your chance is now, to get eternal life which is in your earthly tabernacle but at the Translation this earthly tabernacle will be changes into the heavenly tabernacle and this mortal shall put on immortality, (1st Corinth.15:53).

In Acts 9: 1-9,  Saul, as he journeyed, to Damascus; suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus(Who ONLY hath immortality) whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Paul was able to declare who Jesus truly is in Colossians 1: 15-17: “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Paul was declaring that the Lord Jesus is the creator of all things. They were all created by him and for him. He is before all things, and by him all things consist. Psalm 90: 1-2 states: “LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God,” (The Lord Jesus).

James 2: 19 states: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” The devils will tremble when you approach them with the authority that you know that there is only one God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 13: 8 states: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” He is the Almighty. He does not change. He dwells in eternity. Jesus describes himself in Revelation 1: 8, 17-18. Verse 8 states: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Verses 17-18 state: “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” In these verses, he reminds us that it is him “that liveth, and was dead”. He is the first and the last; the Alpha and Omega; which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. The angels and the rest of us shall worship the Lord Jesus as the Almighty in heaven. God was referred to as ‘was’ when he died as Jesus Christ because God cannot die. God is a Spirit, John 4:24.

Revelation 4: 8-11 states:”And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth forever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” By Jesus Christ were all things created and for his pleasure.

Revelation 5: 11-14 states: “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that liveth forever and ever.” The Lamb is Jesus Christ and he is the mighty God who ONLY hath immortality. Revelation 21: 6-7 states: “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely: He that over cometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

According to Matthew 1: 18-25: “Mary was espoused to Joseph; before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. The angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Who ONLY hath immortality). Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a SON (Who hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel), and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

In John 8: 56-59 states: “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am, (Who only hath immortality).” Jesus was telling the Jews that Abraham, who had died hundreds of years earlier, was glad to see him. He was the same person that Abraham saw – the mighty God in human form (immortality and life). In Luke 10:18 Jesus said, “I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven.” This tells us Jesus was present in heaven when satan was kicked out, in the beginning before he landed out of the presence of God.

Let us read Hebrews 7: 1-10, “For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; That is God in human form (Jesus Christ), as the priest of the most high God; had no beginning of day or ending of life. John 1:10-13 states, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God (Who ONLY hath immortality, Who abolished death, and brought LIFE and IMMORTALITY to light through the GOSPEL), even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” He giveth eternal life which is immortality and only found in Jesus Christ.

We are complete in the Lord Jesus. Colossians 2: 9-10 states: “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” We read in Isaiah 53: 4-5: “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. How merciful our God is in becoming a human being to take all the contradictions of men in order to save us from our sins. The Lord Jesus is coming back soon having his reward with him. Revelation 22: 12-13 reads, “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” This message is about immortality and the true believer knowing about the Godhead; and what part that plays in our daily lives. It will help you know, if the Godhead is a person or persons. Who do we expect to see in heaven and how does this matter. The Godhead is a serious issue in the expectation of Jesus Christ in these last days. You must know about the importance of the Godhead and the true identity of the Godhead because that is the place and secret of immortality.

In John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; and verse 12 reads, and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. Revelation 19:13, and he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of GOD. It is your responsibility as a Christian to know and be sure Who is the Word of God, and what are your assurances of the truth of the Word: that is the place and secret of immortality. Only He Jesus Christ hath immortality, eternal life.

Acts 2:38 reads, ” Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord, our God shall call. Also Acts 3:19 reads, ” Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Mark 16:16 reads, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”Immortality is Jesus Christ, and we shall be changed from mortal to immortality.  Romans 6: 3-4 reads, “Know ye not that, as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death. Colossians 2:12 reads, “Buried with him in baptism, in which also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead, (the death of Jesus did not affect his immortality in anyway because God cannot die). For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ, Galatians 3:27. Read 1st Peter 3:21 and Acts 19:4-6.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise of God to all believers; Luke 11:13 reads, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” The Lord gives the Holy Spirit to all who ask of him. The question now is, are you of the Lord, have you asked him for the Holy Spirit, have you received him, how does he work in your life? On the day of Pentecost, God gave the Holy Spirit, fulfilling his promise to the church, when he said tarry in Jerusalem, Acts 1:4-8. God gives the Holy Spirit and nobody can overrule it, God gives the Holy Spirit to both Jews (on the day of Pentecost) and to Gentiles in Acts 10:44 which reads, “While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them who heard the WORD.” And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance, Acts 2:4. “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied,” Acts 19:1-7. You can see that the Holy Spirit is important to everyone that considers them self a believer. Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? In whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory, (Ephesians 1:13-14). Philippians 2:1-11, talks about the fellowship of the Spirit, we must remember that God is a Spirit and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1st Corinthians 1:9, “God is faithful, by whom we were called unto the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” Are you in fellowship with the Lord? When did he talk to you last? The voice of immortality, He spoke to us in these last days, by his coming, as the Son. Philippians 3:10-14, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, and being made conformable unto his death, if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”This brings us face to face with immortality as we are changed, (1st Corinth 15:53). 1st John 1:3 reads, “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ,” who only hath immortality. 1st John 1:7 states, “But if we work in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanseth us from all sin,” evidence of the seed of immortality found only in Jesus Christ.

This is the separating point for those who say they believe the scriptures. Eternal life is only found in Jesus Christ (1st John 5:11). Also immortality is only found in Jesus Christ (1st Tim 6:16). If in heaven we hope to see three thrones as some teach and believe, one for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Ghost; or that the three of them sit side by side with the Father in the middle; then for sure there are three persons in the God head, but only Jesus Christ hath immortality. Jesus Christ has eternal life, only Jesus Christ hath immortality, Jesus Christ is God. We all have an image in our head of the Father figure; the same for the Son who came to die and save us, but the image of the Holy Ghost is not imaginable in bodily form; except as a dove or tongue of fire. The Holy Ghost is still Jesus Christ in the Spirit, remember, John 14:16-18.

God is not a monster. If you are expecting to see three different persons, you are in for fiery purging by the great tribulation if you are around after the rapture. Have you ever imagined under what circumstances, you would call on the Father, and when can you call on the Son and also when it is important out of the three persons to call on the third one the Holy Ghost. It is amazing how people separate these three persons based on their needs and circumstances. If you believe this way you may be in danger. If one of them does not meet your request then you go to the other. This is gambling and does not make for trust and confidence. Hear O! Israel the Lord thy God is one and there is no other God beside me Jesus Christ (Who ONLY hath immortality and life). You cannot win a Jew to Jesus Christ by introducing him to three GODS or three different persons in the Godhead. God has three major manifestations in his dealing with humanity. God manifested himself in different ways, God is present everywhere and that does not make him multiple persons; God is a Spirit and came to man as JESUS.

Jesus said in John 5:43, “I came in my Father’s name Jesus Christ”, the name of God is therefore Jesus Christ. Compare John 2:19, “Destroy this temple and in three days ‘I’ will raise it up,” And Ephesians 1:20, “which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead.” Hebrew 11:19, “Accounting that God was able to raise him up.” Also read 1st Peter 1:17-21. God raised up Jesus Christ from the dead is the testimony of the apostles; BUT remember the testimony of Jesus Christ himself, DESTROY THIS TEMPLE AND IN THREE DAYS “I” WILL RAISE IT UP. He did not say my Father will raise me up, BUT I will raise myself up. Revelation 1:18 reads, “I am he that liveth, and was dead, and, behold I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of Hades and of death.”

Study this scripture with prayers, St Matthew 11:27, “All things are delivered unto me by my Father, and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, except the Son, and he to whomsoever the SON will reveal him.” Jesus is God in the flesh fulfilling all the requirements for the redemption of man from the fall of Adam. Read St. John 14:15-31, Jesus is the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Father; ISAIAH 9:6 (the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father). Read Revelation 1:8. WHO ONLY HATH IMMORTALITY; JESUS CHRIST ONLY HATH IMMORTALITY, ETERNAL LIFE.
