THE UNCLEAN SHALL NOT PASS OVER IT

THE UNCLEAN SHALL NOT PASS OVER ITTHE UNCLEAN SHALL NOT PASS OVER IT

Unclean is a word that all through biblical history has weighed on mankind. It often separates the sacred from the profane. The word unclean means, dirty, not clean, evil, vile, morally impure, unclean thoughts, and much more negative issues (Matt. 15:11-20). But for this message the discussion is in connection with men. The things that come out of a man’s mouth comes from his heart and generally defiles or makes a person unclean. Those things that come out of the heart of a man are adultery, evil thoughts, false witness, sexual immorality, gossip, anger, greed, malice and much more, ( Galatians 5:19-21 ).

Isaiah 35:8-10 reads, “And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The highway of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. What a highway that is, that does not allow the unclean to pass over it, that was prophetic and is on now. The highway of holiness is made of eternal substance and the designer and builder is Christ Jesus. The ancient of days is watching over The highway of holiness, because it leads the ‘called’ into the presence of the Lord. It is a way of holiness.

According to Job 28:7-8, “There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen: The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion pass by it.” This path is so strange that the flesh cannot find it. To try to use the human mind to find this path or The highway of holiness is impossible. To give you an idea of how strange this way is, it is both in the air and on the land. The fowl that flies in the skies including the eagle’s eye or the vulture’s eye hath not seen it: also on land the skilled lion or the fierce lion has not trodden nor passed over this path or way. What a strange highway.

The high priests, Pharisees, Sadducees and religious leaders of the day knew and were all expecting the Messiah. He came and they did not know him. In John 1:23, John the Baptist said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord.” How was he making straight the way of the Lord? Study his ministry before Jesus Christ started off his own ministry. In John 1:32-34 we find the testimony of John the Baptist, “And John bare record, saying I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode on him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water (to point people to the WAY), the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost (the Holy Ghost has to do with the way of holiness). And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” The way John was making, did not involve physical forest clearing and mountain cutting. He was preparing a way to get the people ready for The highway of holiness, through a call to repentance and baptism.

Jesus said, I am the way. Jesus preached the gospel showing the way. He shed his own blood on the cross to open The highway of holiness. Through his blood you have the new birth and new creation. A walk with Jesus Christ brings you unto The highway. A sanctified life by Christ brings one into The highway of holiness. It involves several steps because it is a spiritual highway. Firstly, you must be born again. By acknowledging your sins, confessing them, repenting and been converted. Accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord through the washing by his blood. According to John 1:12, “As many as received him gave he power to becomes sons of God,” it is an important scripture on this way. You become a new creation. As you continue your walk with the Lord, your life will change, your friends and desires will change, because you are walking in a new way with Jesus. Many will not understand you, sometimes you will not understand yourself, because your life is hid with Christ in God. No unclean one can walk on the same highway because it takes the new birth or being born again to start moving towards that way. There will be trials and temptations before you arrive at The highway of holiness. It is a process by the Holy Ghost, to walk in it. Remember Hebrews 11, it involves FAITH; evidence of things not seen. They all had good report through faith, yet without us they cannot be made perfect.

John 6:44 states, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him.” The Father has to draw you to the Son and reveal who the Son is to you. The word of God when you hear it, begins to stir in you and faith is born in you, (Romans 10:17). That hearing that brings faith into you, leads you to acknowledge John 3:5 when Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” This is the path of repentance; as you acknowledge that you are a sinner, the Spirit of God moves you to repent and ask God for forgiveness. Be converted by asking Jesus Christ to wash you clean of your sin with his blood, (1st John 1:7); and ask him to take over your life and be your Savior and Lord. When Jesus Christ has washed you with his blood and you become a new creation, old things are passed away and all things become new (2nd Corinthians 5:17). Then you start the walk of cleanliness and holiness, towards The highway of holiness; led by the Holy Spirit. The way is spiritual not physical. Strive to enter.

Only Jesus can lead you in the way of holiness. Only He knows how to lead you in the path of righteousness for his names sake, (Psalms 23:3). After you are saved, you take many steps to maintain your spiritual growth and walk with Jesus Christ. After you accept Jesus Christ into your life, let your family and everyone around you know, that you are a new creature and not ashamed to be born again by Jesus Christ. This is the beginning of your life of witnessing. Witnessing is found in The highway of holiness. To strengthen your faith, you begin to obey and submit to every word of God. Stay away from all appearances of evil and sin. Owe no man anything but divine love.

You need to obey Mark 16:15-18, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.” You need to be baptized by emersion in the name of Jesus Christ. Study Acts 2:38 which states, “Repent and be baptized every one of you In the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Remember Luke 11:13, your heavenly Father shall give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him. You need the Holy Spirit to have a holy and spiritual work and walk with God. Spend time in prayer and praise, asking the Lord to baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

Now set a daily time of communion with the Lord, in studying the word, prayer and worship. Look for a bible believing church where they preach holiness, purity, salvation, sin, repentance, heaven, lake of fire. Most importantly they must be preaching about the rapture of the bride elect, in an hour you think not. The book of Revelation should be your delight now, confirming the prophecies of the book of Daniel. As you do these you will come to know about the Godhead and who Jesus Christ truly is to you and the true believer. Study Isaiah 9:6, John1:1-14, Revelation 1:8, 11 and 18. Also, Revelation 5:1-14; 22: 6 and 16. Only Jesus Christ can make you clean and is the only one that knows and can get you to walk in The highway of holiness. He alone is holy and righteous and by faith and revelations He will guide you to walk in The highway of holiness.

In Special Writing 86, brother Frisby prophesied, “Thus said the Lord Jesus I have chosen this path and have called those who are to walk there in it: these be those that follow Me wheresoever I goeth.” Only Jesus knows The way of holiness, no unclean shall pass over it. Jesus Christ will guide you in the way of holiness, if you commit your ways to him as your Savior, Lord and God. He is holy, be ye holy also. Study Revelation 14.
