In jail (prison) and know it not
Prison is not simply seen in the Bible as only a social institution or material entity, but as a spiritual reality, a kind of living death. Spiritual jails are holding places for individuals who have been arrested in the spiritual realm. Such people often wonder what is taking place with their lives, it seems as if they are doing hard times. Prison has a few purposes, but for this message we shall consider it in terms of the religious realm and Christianity in particular. The purposes are deterrence, retribution, incapacitation and rehabilitation in the world’s judicial system. But actual jail in the spiritual and religious sense has to do with incapacitation, deterrence and control. You will at the end of this message know if you are in prison and know it not. They first deal with a person or congregation spiritually, then psychologically and finally control them. At this time the person or persons are in prison and do not know it.
Before diabolical religious leaders, who to the public look innocent can control you or their congregation; they must have yielded themselves, to other powers that are not of the true Bible God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember Exod. 20:3-5, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, —- Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God, am a jealous God.” This was and is still a clear message and command from God. The problem starts here with the disobedience of man. When you or your pastor or superintendent or general overseer goes to seek another god; then they have forsaken the only true God. What are you seeking another god for? In most churches it is for power, for more members, for more money and prosperity and lastly to be able to perform miracles. These are the things most people have as the root of their problems and these preachers take advantage of them. Some of the preachers have confessed they needed these things to show how successful they are and thereby captivating their congregations. Some of them go a great extent, to acquire power, riches and fake miracles.
Some of these so called men of God have gone after other gods, bowed to them and carry secret images of their gods. These images come in many forms like rods, clothing, rings, hand signs and adultery; all to fulfill the requirement of their gods. But they come out carrying the bible to confuse the simple and ignorant. Many of these men have used the spirit of hypnotism and fear upon their congregation. Some have death always following them. When they go in search of these strange gods, they stoop to the lowest level you can imagine. Some of them are ritualists, others become occultist in a church robe. Before these demon possessed herbalist, or native doctor or baba- lawo and much more; these so called men of God bow to them, stoop to enter their shrines, obey all their instructions at all levels. They get involved in human sacrifices, even sacrificing their family member in search of power. They throw away love of God and family to acquire these things. Some bury people alive to fulfill the requirement of their new gods. Some of these things require yearly sacrifice, some require adultery and sexual abuse of minors to please their new god to keep their so called power. Remember these men and women who claim to be ministers have forgotten that the scripture said, thou shalt have no other gods before me: Now all who have gone this way, now have another god. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them. These men and women in search of powers and these other things, and have gone to these dead gods, have bowed in obedience to them, honoring them as their source, and have forsaken the only true God. They also wear and carry graven images in respect to their new gods, contrary to the word of God.
God has sons and daughters but not grand-children. All these ministers who have gone secretly in search of other gods; missed the mark. According to Heb. 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Eph. 3:11-12, “According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.” You do not need to go to and also bow to these strange gods which are demonic and contrary to the only true God. Also 1st Peter 5: 6-7, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Let us look at the problems facing the congregation. Many are under the influence of their church minister; who is subject to the strange god that gave him what he calls power or anointing or blessing. Indirectly, you are under his influence, and you are actually under the strange gods the minister has bowed to. Some of them lay their hands upon you. It is not the anointing from the only true God, Jesus Christ the Lord; but the anointing from their strange dumb god. Satan is in control of these so called ministers. Some of them give strange communion to the congregation. Be careful who your minister is, what kind of hands are laid upon you and what kind of communion you are taking and the kind of anointed oil and water you are using. All these are means of incapacitating and controlling you. Some families are in turmoil because of these things. When you see a woman honoring and obeying her minister more than her husband; you be careful. Witchcraft may be involved on either side. The woman may be spiritually controlling the minister or the minister is ruling another man’s house. All these are done in the spirit, world of darkness first and manifested gradually when you see the controlling power at work. There are strange women who control the minister and through that control the congregation. Familiar spirits are greatly at work in many churches.
It is a warfare for the Christian according to Eph. 6: 11-18, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the ruler of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Every true believer must study this chapter of scripture to be able to withstand in the evil day.
The truth will set you free. No minister will defend you before the only true God; Rom. 14:12 reads, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” The ministers who have bowed to strange gods are not to blame alone for their congregation’s spiritual issues. Each member of such cult, group or church is responsible for their spiritual work with God on earth. If you are deceived, you deceived yourself. Be sure who your minister is now. Let the Bible guide and guard you from these strange ministers. They are very popular, attract large crowds, entangled in some politics and culturally compromised. They hardly preach the gospel and worse, they avoid talking or down playing or mocking anyone preaching about the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ called the translation.
I would encourage anyone in such cults (where the preacher or the organization is put before Jesus Christ), organizations, churches and more; to take a step back. Spend time seeking the Lord, privately away from the spiritual influence of such ministers. If you are a son or daughter of God and not a grandchild (God has no such thing), with sincerity and commitment the only true God will answer and deliver you and make known the truth to you. But you must first come out from among them and be ye separate. You will answer for yourself before God; do not depend on any minister to answer for you. The reason for you to isolate yourself to seek the Lord, is because you need to find the right place of worship else you may witness Amos 5:19, “As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.” Be sure where you worship. Be sure your minister has not bowed to another God and he in turn lays his hands upon you. If you are still under that minister you have yourself to blame. There are many cult personalities and their congregation continues to follow them without any questions. When you do, you are indirectly bowing and getting anointed by their gods. Deliver thyself by running out of such and holding to our Lord Jesus Christ. What shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and loose his soul?
The main reason of these ministers bowing to another god is money, prosperity, power and fame and that is all they preach: not the salvation of the lost nor the coming translation. All they want is to control you and your wallet. If you are in this spiritual prison, step aside, fast and seek the only true God for your deliverance and freedom from spiritual and physical prison in which you are operating; in the name of religion instead of relationship with Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. Do this before you are consumed by spiritual wickedness of these people that have been transformed by satan as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works, (2nd Cor. 11:14-15).
