FELLOW PILGRIMS (BRETHREN) GET ON BOARD
The traveler who is prepared to get on board, must know where he or she is traveling to; all documents checked and ready to go into glory. If you are not known from the foundation of the world in connection with this travel, you have no part in it. No matter your efforts you cannot board for this journey into glory. Many thought they were preparing to board for this travel, but with time they had forgotten God and his precious promises. People are boarding now; time is running out and the door will be shut very soon. In Genesis 7:1, the Lord said unto Noah, “Come thou and all thy house (this time each one will be ready for himself or herself) into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.”
According to Genesis 7: 5 and 7, “And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him: – – – – And Noah went in, and his sons and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.” They boarded for their travel but that was nothing compared to what journey awaits the strangers and pilgrims of today. This travel that boarding has begun is a travel into eternity. There will be no coming down from Mount Ararat after forty days and forty nights of rain, and the water prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. Every living thing perished from the face of the earth, except Noah and those with him in the ark. Noah did not travel into eternity; that journey into eternity is boarding now. Only those who have made themselves ready will go. We are in the world but not of the world (John 17:16). Our citizenship (conversation) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:20). The saints are boarding, what about you?
Today we are faced with the similar situation but this time this is not a test travel like Noah’s; this is the final and true journey into eternity. If you do not have eternal life you cannot even begin to prepare for this journey. The heart has a lot to do with it. For out of the heart proceed those things that can make you unqualified for the travel into eternity, (Matt. 15:19): for such cannot inherit the kingdom of God. In the travel to eternity, on arrival you begin to inherit all the promises of the overcomer. Especially, the promises in the book of Revelation, for example, you may have right to the tree of life (Rev. 22:14). Next imagine Rev.2:17, “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving him that receiveth it.” For me imagine what name awaits me in that white stone, that taste of the tree of life. These are promises that every believer should be looking forward to, as we begin boarding for eternity, home.
Now you must appreciate the prophetic hour we live in today. Noah boarding the ark, was a clear line of separation, between those entering the ark and those outside of it. It was a painful separation for him and the rest of the world especially his extended families and friends. Their cries for help, knocking on the ark as the rain started and the waters rose; but it was too late. Even those who helped build the ark did not go in because of unbelief; in the sermons God gave, and preached by, Noah.
Many are aware of the ark today (salvation in Jesus Christ, by grace, through faith), many have been coming and going out freely because the ark today is open to whosoever will. Like the airplane people go in and out when packed, until the boarding of the travelers, begins. To be more direct travelers are boarding now. If you cannot sense it, may be you are not traveling on this translation flight. Only those who are expecting Him (Hebrews 9:28) can sense it, prepare, focus, ,and head for the boarding door, as in Noah’s ark door. The saints are beginning to board; where are you?
You must put on the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom.13:14) and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. According to Rom. 8:9, “- – Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Let us not deceive ourselves, if you are not led by the Spirit of God, you are not the son of God; and that may confirm, you are none of His. Luke 11:13 tells you how to get the Holy Spirit, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children; how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” You have to ask for the Holy Spirit yourself, just like you ask God for anything and believe that you receive in the name of Jesus Christ. You cannot ask for the Holy Spirit except you are first born again. Being born again happens from the heart, (Rom. 10:10), “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” John 3:3, “Jesus answered, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This is the major key to qualify you, to hope and start preparing for the travel which is a manifestation; of your faith in believing the Word of God. You must acknowledge you are a helpless sinner that needs salvation and deliverance. Just ask God to forgive you, that you believe all that He (JESUS) did at the whipping post, (By His stripes ye were healed, Isaiah 53:5 and 1st Peter 2:24), and at (1st Corinth.15:3, He died for our sins) the Cross and His resurrection (1st Corinth. 15:4, And that He was buried and that He rose again the third day) from the death and ascended into heaven, (Acts 1:9-11).
Mark 16:16 states, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; and he that believeth not shall be damned.” If you are saved and baptized ( by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, Acts 2:38), look for a small bible believing church to attend. Testify about your salvation and the hope of God in your life, believe in the TRANSLATION (1st Thess. 4:13-18). As you witness about Jesus Christ to everyone, walk in the Spirit, that Galatians 5: 22-23 (But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law) may be found in your life. So, you cannot be disqualified from boarding the flight. Remember without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Heb. 12:14); also only the pure in heart shall see God (Matt.5:8). Daily be expecting the coming of the Lord and you will be in a position to board the flight to glory: To a city with streets of gold, the builder and maker is God, a city with foundation (Heb 11:10: Rev. 21:14 and has twelve gates Rev. 21: 12). What a city with many mansions. The city is 1500 miles high and wide. What a city, there is no need for sun or moon there or church building as in Rev. 21:22-23. Ponder over Rev. 22:1-5, “And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their forehead. Be ready to board the flight, “For I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” The saints are boarding are you in? Are you halting between two opinions? The earth may look attractive, but the mark of the beast is coming. You can never imagine how heaven will be. Saints are boarding, hurry before the door is shut. This flight is one time only, and one of a kind only.
