THE LORD WILL APPEAR TO THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR HIMTHE LORD WILL APPEAR TO THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR HIM

It is the faith you have in the spoken word of Jesus Christ that, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am ye may be also,” John 14:1-3: that is the hope every true believer is holding unto by faith. Going in the translation is dependent on your faith and believe in what Jesus Christ, promised to the apostles above.

According to Hebrews 9:28, “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Some brethren kept looking for him in faith, like the apostles, but he did not come at that time. In every age faith prevails. Men of faith kept looking for him to appear; they wished and desired it to be in their day. Even you also must be wishing it would happen in your days. The truth is no man has control of the time of his return. It cannot be mathematically computed. Computer technology can never attain to that level of assurance. This is not human or angelic design but it is a divine appointment with God. God sets his own appointments. The translation is one of those appointments. He has an appointment with the elective bride (the secret and sudden catching away to meet Him in the air (1st Thess.4:13-18): and the other is the Jews looking for the Messiah who they will find out is Jesus Christ, whom they crucified, (John 19:39 and Zechariah 12:10). Study these scriptures for your good.

Some of God’s appointments are unique. When he made Adam it was in secret, it was unique. God made man by appointment. What a day that was, God made the first man Adam. God made another secret and unique appointment, to take Enoch home alive that he should not see death. What an appointment Enoch had with God. Yes, Enoch by faith pleased God. Hebrews 11:5 states, “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death.” He made his appointment with God. Faith had a lot to do with it.

God made a determined appointment with Noah. A unique type of faith was important for this appointment. Noah was tried by the length of time it took to build the ark and preach to the generally unrepentant and unresponsive humanity. God laid it out in the open with the building of the ark, but it remained a secret even to Noah, what time the appointment was to be. And when the appointed season came the ark was ready and the signs of the appointment started to appear. These signs are concluded in one word, ‘the unusual’. The animals and birds and creeping things, started to report to Adam, as chosen, to enter the ark. Is it not a strange sign to see the lions, deer, sheep etc.; come into the ark and remain together and peaceful and obedient to Noah and family? One fine moment the ark door was locked; and still Noah had no idea what next and what time would this be. At the appointed time, God arrived, and the rain began to fall and after forty days and forty nights all mankind outside the ark perished. That is judgment. Take time to study 2nd Peter 3:6-14, and see another of God’s secret and yet open appointment. He has said it, the wise will do well to avoid this optional appointment, except if you are determined to keep it, by your deeds , here and now on the earth; through unbelieve and sin.

Another encounter was the Virgin Mary, God had a divine appointment with her. God was coming in the form of man and made an appointment with Mary, and sent angel Gabriel (Luke 1:26-31) to announce the name of the guest to her. God became man and dwelth among men, till the divine appointment of the death on the cross. All these about Jesus Christ was prophesied by the prophets, men knew about it, but it still was a secret and He was come to his own and they received him not, John 1:11-13. He glorified the Father and redeemed man at the same time, in secret, yet in the open before all eyes. The height of uniqueness was attained on the cross, the resurrection and the ascension. That was establishing that He was the resurrection and the life, (John 11:25); it was a unique appointment.

God had a unique appointment with Saul on the way to Damascus. In Acts 9:4-16, God had a peculiar appointment with Saul and God called him by name in case he was in doubt or  double minded. But Saul replied calling him Lord. And the voice said, “I am Jesus whom thou persecutes.” After the encounter Saul became Paul and his life was forever changed. You are never the same when your unique appointment with God holds. One of such is your salvation; surely you are never the same after your divine appointment, not like that of Judas Iscariot.

John the Apostle had a peculiar appointment with God, similar to the same appointment Daniel had with God. Daniel 7:9, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgement was set, and the books were opened.” This appointment with Daniel was similar to that of John. God set up his appointment with John on the island of Patmos where he told and showed him unspeakable secrets. Revelation 1:12-20, (His head and his hairs were white as wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire.) was similar to the description of the person Daniel saw in Babylon. And in Revelation 20:11-15, talks about ‘the one who sat on the throne’ the same Ancient of days, God, Jesus Christ. And the books were opened and another book was opened which is the book of life. During this unique appointment God showed John hidden secrets. Also in Revelation 8:1 when the seventh seal was opened there was silence in heaven. In Revelation 10:1-4, John was told, “Seal up those things which the seven thunders utters and write them not.” God knew John had the faith to cope with the appointment.

Remember Abraham who had an appointment with God to sacrifice his only son. Abraham neither told his wife, son or servants. It was a secret between him and God. Abraham bore the agony of the appointment that would have produced doubt and sin in his life if he entertained any unbelieve. God in the end, counted it unto him for righteousness, by his faith in God. Study Genesis 22:7-18.

All these people who had unique appointments with God had faith. Faith is a prerequisite for any appointment with God, and each is a secret occasion. Now we come to another most unique appointment since the creation of man. God spoke about it, prophets spoke about it, and Jesus Christ while on earth spoke about it also. Some of the apostles were given revelations about it. This appointment demands faith. You have to believe these testimonies of the scripture, that God will surely gather all who believe in him; in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, suddenly, in an hour you think not, as a thief in the night; for you to partake in the appointment in the air, the translation, John 14:1-3, 1st Thess. 4:13-18 and 1st Corinthians 15:51-58.

Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). And surely without faith it is impossible to keep the unique appointment of the translation. Even Elijah had an unusual appointment with God. He knew he had an appointment with God, but did not know the exact moment. He knew it was drawing near, he set his heart on it. He did God’s business as he was instructed. He went through several cities before he crossed river Jordan. The sons of the prophets suspected something was going to happen to Elijah. Like today many of these denominations are like the sons of the prophets they know and talk about the translation theoretically, historically, but do not believe it is for them or in their days. Elijah was set on going into the heavenly place, away from earth. God told him his appointed moment was coming, and not knowing how, he believed God. He was convinced that, what God said, he was able to fulfill. With that faith, conviction and confidence he told his servant Elisha, to ask whatever he wanted before he was taken from him. Elisha made his request and Elijah granted it, on condition of being able to see him when he was taken. Elisha exercised his faith with determination, and kept watching.

While Elijah and Elisha were walking after crossing Jordan, a chariot of fire with horses inside, suddenly separated both of them. God kept his unique appointment with Elijah, as he was in a moment, in the chariot and gone to God. Secret moment, God took one, left the other and a repeat of it is on the way.

This next appointment will be universal and many are invited to this marriage appointment; many are in the bride that makes herself ready. Remember Matt 25: 1-13, those ready for the divine appointment went in (John 14:1-3, 1st Thess.4:13-18 and 1st Corinth.15:51-58) and the door was shut (the great tribulation sets in). If you did not go in, you did not prepare. To prepare you must be saved and believe there is an appointment called the translation; and you must have faith for it. You must by unique and peculiar faith believe you are going in the translation. Let the Spirit of God bear witness with your spirit that you are going for the translation.

All those who have this faith and are looking for Him will He appear unto. Be ready for this appointment and study 1st John 3:1-3, for everyone who hath this hope in himself, purifies himself. You need faith, believe and confidence in the words of Jesus Christ. He is God and the appointment setter, be ye ready always. This appointment will be sudden and it is real, don’t take any chances for it is final. The choice to be prepared is yours but the timing is God’s. This is wisdom. Search the Holy Bible for it is God’s archives and it does not fail to give you the truth. Faith, holiness, purity, focus, no distraction or procrastination and obedience to the word of God are all involved in this next sudden, divine appointment with God to meet him in the air.
