YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS WITH JESUS CHRIST
You are in good hands with Jesus the Christ because He is the creator of all things and He has the keys of hell and death. He is the resurrection and the life. You can count on him always. This little word of admonition is for those who love the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to John 10:27-30, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, who gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” This is the kind of God we can call our Father.
John 14:7 reads, “If you have known me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” Read verses 9-11, (“He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, show us the Father?).
One may ask how big or how great is the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the same as the hand of God? God himself said, “No man shall be able to pluck them out of MY hand.” Again Jesus said no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. The hand of the Father is not different from the hand of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “ I and my Father are one ,” not two. Make sure you are in the hand of the Lord God. When you are in the hand of the Lord, Psalms 23 is yours to claim. Also, you must have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Another reassuring scripture is John 17:20, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.” When you meditate on this statement, you will be amazed about the plan the Lord made for those who believe on him. About two thousand years ago, he prayed for those of us who will believe on him by the word of the apostles. You ask how he prayed for me when I was not even born or in the world. Yes, before the foundation of the world he knew those of us for whom he prayed. According to Ephesians 1:4-5, “He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.”
When the Lord said, I pray for those who will believe on me by your word; he meant it. The apostles testified unto us about his word. They ran their lives by his word; they experienced the powers of his word and promises. They believed his word for the translation, the great tribulation, the millennium and the new heaven and new earth after the white throne judgment. To be covered by the prayer of the Lord, you must be saved and believe on him by the word of the apostles as recorded in the holy bible.
Even as we pray, our total dependence is upon the prayer our Lord Jesus Christ made on our behalf in John17:20. Always remember that if you believe he had already prayed for you, your part is to praise him with thanksgiving and worship as the main part of your prayer.
According to Matt. 6:8, “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what you have need of before ye ask him.” This is another assurance that you are in good hand with Jesus Christ. He said before you ask, I know what you need. He also gave us his Holy Spirit, that is, Christ in you the hope of glory. Also according to Romans 8:26-27, “—–For we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.”
If you are a true believer in Jesus Christ, you can count on him and every word he spoke. He settled the issue of blessed assurance by stating that no man can pluck us out of his hand. Also, he has prayed for those of us who believe on him by the words of the apostles of old. While we were yet sinners, he prayed and died for us. He said I will never leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. I will be with you always even to the end of the world, Matt. 28:20.
Ephesians 1:13 tells us more about our relationship with Jesus Christ, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also, after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.” That is why when you are in his hand it is well.
To be in the hand of Jesus and the Father, that no one can pluck you out of his hand, you have to remember that Jesus is the same as the Father, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Lord and Savior. First and foremost, you must be born again and abide in him. He has prayed for you, just believe in him and the testimonies of him by the apostles, and prophets who walked with him and ministered for him.
