Health benefits of nuts

There are different types of nuts in the world depending on your locality. They contain similar properties. They are rich in plant-fats, fiber and plant based proteins. Most of them are rich in vitamin E, antioxidants, and good in managing heart conditions.  They help manage and reduce inflammation. Helps to lower cholesterol over time. Helps reduce the risk for heart attacks or strokes. Also helps in diabetic issues.

Many of the nuts contain good amounts of minerals that include, calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, phosphorous, selenium and more. Some of the nuts include almond, cashew, coconut, date palm, oil palm, pecan, tiger nut, walnut and many more. A few of them will be discussed here.

Almond

Almonds are a great source of fiber. Eating a handful of almonds or drinking a glass of almond milk can keep your gastrointestinal tract moving and prevent constipation. Almonds can also promote healthy bacteria in your gut. This can help you digest your food and even fight off illness. They are a digestive help. Vitamin E in almonds is good for your heart health and lowers high LDL cholesterol levels. They also contain calcium, phosphorous and much more.

They are loaded with antioxidants, plant source fats and protein. These antioxidants protect the cells of the body from the premature aging process. It helps prevent and manage blood sugar and diabetes because of the presence of fat and protein that slows the process of carbohydrate absorption in the gut. Coconut

Some people consider the coconut a fruit and others see it as a nut. The coconut fruit is made up of water, flesh and oil. They are all for human consumption.
