046 – SPIRITUAL CLUES

SPIRITUAL CLUESSPIRITUAL CLUES

I feel this: greater things and much greater things are ahead and I believe so much rejoicing and joy than the church has ever seen before is just over the horizon, right around the corner. We are to be alert, watch and prepare. I know that satan will try everything he can to stop any individual in the audience. He will try every trick that he knows; he’s been around a while and he knows a lot of them. But the word of God has got him defeated that he cannot get around, saith the Lord. The Lord has put the word in such a way that satan cannot get around that word. Praise God! The way that you defeat him, no matter what he does to you, is to hold on to that word. The word of God has been planted just right and that will defeat the devil like nothing else I know. I want you to get what you want from this message and release yourself to God.

Spiritual clues: Paul gives evidence of some secrets related to being translated. Some important understandings are associated with this and those who follow it will be in good fortune and be rewarded in numerous ways, spiritually and in every way you can think of, God will bless you. First, I want to read 2 Thessalonians 1: 3-12.

“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith growth exceedingly… (v. 3). Take a good look at yourself when you first got here and what God has done for you. You are in a better shape spiritually from what you were when you first got here. Say Amen to that! That’s what he [Paul] loved about it; their love and their charity abounded toward one another and their faith was growing exceedingly.

“So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your tribulations that ye endure” (v. 4). To some of those that he had to write to like the Corinthians and the Galatians, Paul couldn’t write as he did to other churches. In this case, he was enthused about the fact that they were able to suffer the persecution and that they were able to endure and understand all those things. Therefore, he called them “growing” because they were able to do that [suffer persecution, endure]. They didn’t just fall away one second because they didn’t understand something. They were growing and were determined to hold on to God. Many people that suffer persecution, the bible says they have no root. You’ve got to get your root in there and really get it watered. Let it take a good hold on the word of God. He will bless you.

“Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you suffer” (v. 5). People who want to be Christians and not suffer persecution can never be Christians. A real Christian that really loves God; there must be persecution from something. Satan will see to that. If you want to be a Christian and you don’t want any kind of persecution, I am sorry God has no place for you in the church at all. If all Christians, every one of them, would understand what has been read here now in their hearts, then they would have a barrier set up. They cannot fall; they will hold on to the word of God. They will stand true with the Lord. If you are a genuine Christian, one full of faith and power, who stands for the Lord, it may take a while, but as sure as anything, persecution will come, off and on. If you stand that and go on with God, it means you are a Christian.

“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you” (v. 6). See how God will stand for you. He will not leave you to stand alone against the wolf. He will stand there, but you are to be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. Now, watch how He will stand up for you. He will stand on your side. He will not leave you helpless against the wolf. He will recompense tribulation on them that trouble you. Paul said if you endured the persecution, it is a righteous thing for God to stand for you. It is a righteous thing for God to reward them for what they have done wrong, if you have done no evil.

Bro Frisby read 7-10. Being cut from the presence of God is eternal punishment. Do you know that is a horrible thing? If you should lose a baby that you loved so much, as a Christian, you know you would see that baby again. But if there was no opportunity of ever seeing the baby again, that would cause a remorse until you die. But the very fact that you know that you are living for God and that you are going to see that little one again, there is great hope. Just imagine the wicked being cut off. Their destruction is that they will never come into the presence of God. Can you imagine that? We are in the presence of God right now. Even the sinner is in a certain amount of the presence of God because the Spirit of God, giving him life in there, is here.

“When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe…in that day” (v. 10). He is going to light us up. We are going to be lit up with glorified light. Isn’t that wonderful. He is going to be admired. You know He had been put down, persecuted, mocked, scourged, crucified, cruelly treated and murdered and He created the human race that had done it, but He is coming and He is going to be admired. He knows that He has a seed and they will be true to the very end. They may fall down, but they are going to be true and those are the ones that are going to admire Him above everything that we have ever seen because they are going to be trained. They are going to be ready. When He gets through with them on this earth, they will be more than glad to tip their hats to Him and salute Him. Can you say Amen? Our admiration [of Him] is going to be incredible. I don’t care what satan does on this earth. I don’t care how satan has the people whooping for him and how they want to admire satan, never, never, never, would satan ever get the admiration of the Most High. Can you say Praise the Lord? You watch and see; satan is going to try to get the admiration of the antichrist system. God will reveal Himself in the saints, finally, in great lights and admiration. The next chapter [2 Thessalonians 2: 3-4] shows the revelation of the antichrist, sitting in the temple claiming that he is God, revealing himself to the false ones. One day, we will go through that chapter.

“That the name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ” (v. 12). That the name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in each one of us. How many of you want that name to be glorified in you? That is eternal life. That is power beyond conception.

Now, this next chapter is where Paul gives evidence of the secrets of the translation. Spiritual clues: 1 Thessalonians 4: 3- 18:

“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication” (v. 3). If you are sanctified wholly by the Lord, it would be much easier for you to abstain from those kinds of things. The young people that are in this age that we are living in now, the temptation is incredible, but there are two things young people that you’ve got to do. You’ve got to prepare for God to lead you into marriage or you’ve got to pray to God to give you complete control of your body, and that is not as easy as you think. If you play with fire, you will eventually get burned. How many of you say, Amen? In many of his other writings, Paul put it this way: At a certain stage, a flower has got to bloom, see; that is human nature and that is nature in you, young people, to start mating or something like that. But you also in your life should plan when you get to the age when you have to have one another and companionship. Then you should lay down plans. God will guide you through the temptations of the flesh and the fleshly desires. Some people get caught up in that, you don’t leave the church and you don’t continue in that. Ask God to guide you to the proper place and He will definitely do it for you because in this world, the temptation is very powerful and strong. Paul gives a lot of advice on the subject in 1 Corinthians; this [subject] is not the sermon. Nevertheless, I’d like to tell the young people that there are two ways to go in there, but never leave the Lord when you get ensnared in a trap. Get on your knees, you young people, and get a hold of the Lord. He will guide you out of there all the way. You don’t just keep playing with God. Eventually, you’ve got to make a decision. In the age we live in, young people want to get with each other, remember this; begin to make plans, God will lead you or learn how to get your body under complete control, one of the two. Somebody said that is very easy, well, you try it. You say, “Why do you preach about this?” I get letters from all over the world. I understand what they [young people] are going through. Many have been delivered and many have been helped by prayers in the Lord. It is the age that we live in and the young people have got to have this foundation and the word of wisdom to guide them through, lest they go right on out and miss it all. We’ve got to be wise and know how to help this people today in the age we are living in today and God will help them too. He will guide them right through any barrier. He will help them, but they’ve got to have faith and they’ve got to have faith and they’ve got to learn the word of God. We are getting ready for the translation and there is going to be a group of people, young people that are going to make that translation. God is going to prepare them. If it wasn’t for Him and the Holy Spirit, in His guidance and wisdom, a lot of them won’t be able to make it, but He knows just how to do it. So, take courage young people, but obey the scriptures and prepare when it gets to be that time [to get married]. He will guide you. He will lead you. He will help you. God is great. Isn’t He?

“That no man, go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified” (v. 6). Paul’s writings are in continuity and he followed on in this writing pretty good. Over here, 1 Thessalonians 4, suddenly, something takes place. As always in the scriptures, if you are in the scriptures about baptism, there will be clues there. If you are in the scriptures about healing, there will be clues there. All through the bible on any subject, there are clues, especially around faith and so forth. There are all kinds of clues in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. All of a sudden, he slipped them (clues) in here and it just changed into another sermon; yet, it is in the same chapter. As I began to come down this chapter, I began to see something new here. “But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you…” (v. 9). He said you should understand that anyway. Nobody should have to tell you about brotherly love. I shouldn’t even have to write to you about that. That should be automatic.

He is going to drop some more hints: “And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you” (v. 11). He is saying don’t stir up things; learn to be quiet. Now, he is dropping some more clues here because something is going to take place. If you do these things, you are going to make it in that translation. He [Paul] said these are the things that I am telling you that you study to be quiet and to do your own business. Just before the translation, evidently, satan will have people confused and many people are going to be in trouble. Paul is telling you that if you are going to make this translation, it’s going to be in a twinkling of an eye.

“That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing” (v. 12). God will really bless you. Now watch: study to be quiet, in other words, you’ve got your business going on, work with your own hands, work honestly and you will lack nothing. Then he said I would not have you ignorant (v. 13). All of a sudden, something takes place; these are the clues, those little words in there, brotherly love, study to be quiet, work with your own hands, do your own business and you are going to be in the translation. Now, watch out: You’ve got faith and power.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope” (v.13). Why did he change all of a sudden and go into another dimension? These are clues to get you into the translation. Brother Frisby read 1 Thessalonians 4: 14-16. Now, you see what happens here; a dimension, a dramatic dimension. He [Paul] went from discussing those things that I just read (vs. 3-12) and went right on in into the translation. You do well to memorize some of these if you are going to be in the translation. I believe that is going to be the character of the bride and part of the qualifications. We know that patience and faith, the word of God and the power of the Lord are some of the qualifications. One of the greatest qualifications is faithfulness. I believe that the church before the translation is going to be in these things that we just spoke about, before Paul changed the subject. I believe that the real church, all over the world, is coming into that quiet power. They are coming in there, to do their own business. It’s going to come just like that and they are coming into the translation.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” (v. 16). The Lord Himself shall descend; no angel, no man is going to do it. That is powerful. We know who the Lord is, too. Isn’t that powerful there? Study to be quiet, do your own work, work with your hands, I command you to be honest and you will lack nothing. People read the bible all over and forget those things. If you believe me tonight and believe all these words in your hearts, I believe we’ll go [in the translation]. Are you ready? Come on up! I believe we’ll be ready to go tonight. So, don’t forget these things here.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (v. 17). We will be caught up in the clouds of glory. We will go up there and we will be with the Lord. It is wonderful. He is going to reveal Himself in the saints. He is going to just light us up. All these things are coming for what? For a great revival from the Lord.

Over in the next chapter, he said, “Let us who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation [1 Thessalonians 5: 8). Bro Frisby also read 5 & 6. That is what he is telling us tonight. How many of you believe that these words that the apostle wrote, that he didn’t just write them for those people at that time? He wrote them for his day and for our day. Those words are immortal. They will never pass away. Isn’t that wonderful. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but this [word] will not pass away. That [word] would face everybody wherever they are in heaven; it would be there. As you listen to these things [words], trials and tests and whatever mean nothing to us. Just so we catch the glimpse and the wisdom of God leading and guiding that church on the Rock of the Lord Jesus Christ and not on sand. People get on sand—now, there is quicksand under it—they go fast out of the way. We need to get on that Rock. The bible says there is no beginning or end to that Rock. We will never fall and that is the Rock of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is the great Headstone. There is no beginning and no end to His Kingdom. That Rock will never sink. It is eternity. Glory to God! Alleluia! How many of you feel Jesus here? How many of you feel the power of the Lord? Confess to the Lord your shortcomings. Allow the Lord to work through you. Never mind about people. Never mind about daily things on your job. The bible says He will take care of us.

So, we see here; study to be quiet and do your own business, leading right down, and all of a sudden, things changed there and all of a sudden, we are caught up in the translation. So, there are spiritual clues. There are spiritual evidence and secrets all over the bible about the going away. There are clues all over the bible and if you learn how to find those clues, and all those places about faith, healing and miracles, I guarantee you one thing; your faith would grow exceedingly. Your joy would grow and your divine love would grow. There is something that causes these things to grow and mature and brother, when they get to where they are supposed to be, we are going to have a revival on this earth that you have never seen before. How many of you feel the power of the Lord? Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing and praise the Lord for what He has given us here. It is a short message, but it is powerful here.

I was going to read this before I finish here “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming” (1 Thessalonians 2: 19)? Did you know there is a crown of rejoicing? Amen. There is a crown of rejoicing. That is your crown of rejoicing, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. All the people that believe me, all the people that take the faith and power that God has delivered through me here, you are my crown of rejoicing. I am happy that I have helped you and I rejoice that I am able to do it because you know why? There is only one life to do what you are going to do. When it is done, you are translated. “Why can’t I come back and do it? I can’t. So, everything that I have put [done], I want to seal it and set it in there because I would never be able to do it like that again. I can come back to this message, it will only get close to it, but it will never be exactly like this. Every message that I will ever give [have given], some of the words will match out and be like some of the other words or something will be very close in some messages, but I will never have a chance to lay them in exactly the same way again. How many of you can say praise the Lord? You remember when you get the chance to praise the Lord and rejoice down here tonight, there would come a time and we can say this in our hearts, there would be a time coming in the not-so-distant future that this would be silent. There would be nothing here. Finally, it would all be gone and we would be with Jesus. It would just be silence

There was silence in heaven in the space of half hour—prophetic time. I guess when the saints left; it was quiet where they were. But it was in heaven because awful judgment was about to fall on the earth and there was a kind of silence there. So, remember this: you can’t look back down after it is all over. You’ll like to say, “Lord, let me go back.” But now is the time that you can pray. Now is the time that you can rejoice, come here in front and thank the Lord for everything you’ve gotten from Him. Tell the Lord everything tonight–[tell Him] to improve your life, to improve your character—those words leading to the translation there, tell Him to lead you into that [those words] and I guarantee you will be happy. Let’s have revival. Come in and shout the victory!
