THE JOY OF WITNESSING

The Joy of Witnessing | Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #752 | 10/7/1979 AM
It’s wonderful to be here in the house of God. Let’s just praise the Lord…. Let’s thank the Lord. Praise ye the Lord! Blessed be the Name of the Lord Jesus! Alleluia! How many of you love Jesus? Touch them all, Lord. Glory to God! I have got a message today. I believe it should be preached more often [Bro. Frisby made some comments about upcoming crusades and prayer lines]. I want you to listen to this because it is a message that is going to help all of you in the future and God will surely bless your hearts.
[Bro. Frisby spoke about the pope’s visit to the US]. What he [the pope] was trying to do was to show the whole world and his church what the old doctrine of the Pentecostal was in those days, which they don’t care much about these days. But that is visitation; the gospel goes all over the world. You go to large places and to the small places, to every crack and to every hole, to bring forth the gospel. How many of you know that? But we know that the system [Roman Catholicism] is apostatizing…their priests are everywhere. If you don’t get in and do something for the Lord, they are going to get them all. He said, “I am Pope John Paul II and I want you.” The Catholic people; some will receive salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and come out of the system. But all systems, including that system, one day, they will be associated with the beast. The bible said they wondered after the beast (Revelation 13: 19…. The bible says be not deceived, but keep your eyes wide open, staying right here with the Word of God, the Lord.
No matter how the system acts like Pentecost, the bible says it will reverse and when it does, what was a lamb would turn into a beast and all the lukewarm and those who have not made up their minds to get all the way in into God’s Holy Spirit and all the way into the Lord Jesus Christ, then they come far out and they are swept in. The lamb-like [nature] changes into beast form and the dragon. That is the end of it there. But we pray for those people and [in] all movements. The apostasy is sweeping there…. Apostasy—the falling away—is sweeping the earth. In all of those movements…we should pray and tell them about the Lord Jesus because the bible says, “Come out of her,” all religious systems. Come out of her my people and be not partakers of her crimes [sins]. As we pray—revival in all nations—the Catholics, Methodists, Baptists are receiving the baptism, some truly knowing who Jesus is. That is wonderful, but [only] a very few will really make it into the real thing. The rest will be swept into the tribulation and give their lives and their blood…while the church is translated.
I notice that they [systems] are witnessing to the largest places and to [in] the smallest places, to the richest and the poorest everywhere. We better move now because they are going to get them. How many of you know that? Never in the history of the US has a pope been able to sit down in the White House (1980’s) built on the old constitution—and the Protestant men…they ran from that system here to [have] freedom of religion. Now…what we should do is pray for those that God is going to call out into the glorious kingdom of God. Can you say Amen? I am not speaking for any church. I am not sent for any church or any organization, but what the people want to do is to hold on to this precious Word because it is the doctrine and the proper doctrine. Can you say, praise the Lord? With the doctrine of Christ, we don’t need any system or anyone to tell us what the proper doctrine is ….
Listen to me real close: The Lord appeared to me too on this message. One thing the Lord Jesus told me…. He told me the church is falling short on—now we preach faith, we preach healing, we preach salvation, baptism of the Holy Spirit—but what the church is really falling short on—they are falling short on the part of really being a witness. How many of you know that? That is what Jesus told me and I am going to preach it to you this morning.
The Joy of Witnessing: Now, listen to it real close and you might find out some things that are brought out here that you’ve never really understood even about women like Paul wrote. The Joy of Witnessing: First, I want to read Acts 3:19 & 21. “Repent ye therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” (v. 19). There is a time of refreshing coming from the Lord. How many of you know that? It’s coming. That’s when you should repent, sinner. That’s when the people should give their hearts to the Lord. That time of refreshing is coming now so, it’s time to get your sins blotted out. “Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began” (v.21). We are getting close to the end. The times of the restitution of all things are now coming upon us here.
In Isaiah 43:10, He said this: “Ye are my witnesses,” saith the Lord. Man did not say that. The Lord said, ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord. How many of you are still with me? Acts 1: 3, “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” Meaning there was no way to challenge or contest what He showed them after His resurrection. Jesus was still witnessing even though He was in the glorified body. He was still telling them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. How many of you are still with me now? He was still witnessing with infallible proof We go to verse 8: “But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Usually people, when they have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they do not know that there is more anointing than what they just received. They do not seek out God in witnessing or testifying enough to keep the anointing of the Holy Spirit going on neither are they on their knees praising the Lord, nor seeking Him in different manners.
There is a deeper walk than just receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That’s only the beginning for each Christian. There is yet a fiery experience of the anointing of God. In all the places that I have been, right here in this Capstone building, this anointing is so powerful, you can’t fail to get more and more of this as you seek the Lord…. If you don’t get it, it’s your own fault because there is plenty of power here. “Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and all Judaea and into Samaria and into the uttermost parts of the earth.” They [disciples] went everywhere. Now, the uttermost part of the earth is left for us to do it for the Lord Jesus.
Jesus was an example in witnessing. In the case of the woman at the well, He said, I have meat that you know not [of]. That is to testify to this people. He would rather preach the gospel of Jesus Christ than to eat. He said if people do that [witness], they will be blessed beyond measure. That was an example. He spoke to Nicodemus at night. He was seen mingling among the sinners. He spoke to them and talked to them so much that they called Him a winebibber because He was among sinners. But He was there on business; it was not a social visit. How many of you know that? He had not time for a social visit. He was there on business. Even when His parents—in the flesh, He is the Holy Spirit—and they came to Him there [in the temple, He said, “Must I not be about my Father’s business. So, it was not a social visit, but it was a witness to the gospel. He was so sincere because one soul was worth to Him more than the world and He was about His business.
Now, Jesus was called the True and Faithful Witness; so, are we according to the scriptures. We are His true and faithful witness He was sent as a witness to the people, witnessing to both small and great (Isaiah 55: 4) …. “Witnessing both to small and great… (Acts 26: 22). See; the age is coming where the Lord Jesus is calling for witnesses and those that will stand up for the Lord Jesus. I mean we are coming into such crises and there is coming such changes on earth, and such thundering power of the Lord until some of you sitting here will say, “I don’t think I have the confidence to say anything.” It’s going to come in a surge. God will speak. The Lord’s Holy Spirit will bring strength and boldness.
He told me to preach this message. He said that the Pentecostal churches…even the other churches outdo them [in witnessing]. He said that in witnessing, personal visitation and personal evangelism, He said they [Pentecostal churches] are short [in witnessing]. They want power. They want healing. They want miracles. They want to bathe in glory. They want to see all these things, but they have fallen short in witnessing and visitation, the Lord’s Spirit is speaking. That is true. The Baptists are way ahead in visitation. The Jehovah Witnesses, they go from pillar to post, everywhere, they go there. Every one of those movements are out doing that [witnessing]. But the Pentecostal people, they leave it to a supernatural explosion of power many times and then sit down. Each one of you cannot go; give and pray and be an intercessor. But the Lord has a work and He told me, “I have a work for all my children. A busy church is a joyful church. Can you say praise the Lord? Witnessing amounts to helping you—spiritually, it will keep your soul saved. It will keep you more spiritual. You will be happier, and you will have a reward from the Lord Jesus. Don’t sell yourself short. Amen. We are going to have a quick short work at the end of the age. So, we see it, it says witnessing to both small and great. Jesus sent the 70. Then they were about 500 and He sent them all. Go ye into all the world. See; it’s a command.
Listen to this real close here this morning. It’s the Holy Spirit moving. Some are not messengers or preachers; you might say, exactly. But each person/Christian is an evangelistic witness, even women can witness too. Now, watch this close, I bring this out: Men and children can be witnesses of the Lord. Now, Phillip’s four daughters were evangelistic, the bible said at that time. Now, some people have a strong urge to witness and to tell about the gospel that they think that they are called to preach. That is true; there is such an overpowering urge—they are anointed to preach. They have such an urge that they [think] that they are called to preach when in most cases it is a witness or an intercessory spirit that is upon them to testify. How many of you know that now? I will straighten this out and explain it like this. They are honest about it. They know that they can witness. They know that they must tell somebody. They have an extreme urge so, they say, “I don’t feel like God is telling me where to go.” So, that pent-up feeling is just burning them up. It is backfiring on them and they don’t know what to do. Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, from the least to the greatest. Glory to God! Alleluia!
That means to a man that’s worth millions and that means to a person that hasn’t even got a job. He is a witness to the Lord. How many of you are with me now? Jesus is on us today and He is bringing the message. He is going to bless His people too. Then He is giving me this scripture, Ezekiel 3: 18-19. Watchman, watchman, what of the night? “When I say to the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, not speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand” (v. 18). Can you say praise the Lord Jesus? Listen to this right here: it goes on further, v. 19, “Yet if thou warn the wicked and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.” How many of you know how to get your soul saved? Sure, you testify on the platform and witness to one another here and there. By telling others, you yourself would be given the kingdom of God.
If you seek to save others’ lives, you will save your own. Jesus said thou has delivered thy soul, even if they did not listen, He said. Ye are my witnesses. Many times, more will not listen than those that will listen. A few will listen against the many that won’t, but you still deliver thy soul. God is with you and that is in the scriptures there too. Now, the commission: we are all commanded—many of you sitting here and every one of you sitting here today, listen to what the Lord has for us here. As the age closes, this [message] is going to mean much. When you receive this tape, keep it.
In Mark 16:15: He said, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” He said, to every creature. How many of you are with me? Get the gospel out there! I know that by predestination work we throw the net, but it is the angels that pick the good from the bad after we have drawn them in. It is the angels–the anointing of the Angel of the Lord that separates them. We are not to uproot because we can’t get step inside. We have to let both grow together until the time of the harvest and He will begin to bundle…. He said the wicked and the tares–I will bundle the lukewarm over there. Then I will gather my wheat into my barn. If you want to read more about it, it is in Matthew 13: 30. The Lord will do the separating. We are to put out [the gospel. We are to get them into the net and then the Lord will do the separating from that point on there. Then He said in Matthew 28: 20, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” Teach all nations. How many of you believe that? Do you really believe that?
Remember this scripture, Jeremiah 8: 20: “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.” The harvest will soon be past, see? There will be people out there. Then the bible says, multitudes, multitudes are in the valley of decision. They only need a witness whether it is done by television, radio or person to person…. “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision” (Joel 3: 14). In other words, as the day of the Lord draws near, there will be people that are in the valley of decision. We are to warn those people that are in the valley of decision. We are to witness, and we are to reach them with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are co-workers in the work of the Lord.
Now, listen to this real close here. The bible said it in John 15:16: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he may give it you.” Listen to this: many churches today—they sit around in their churches and they wait for the sinners to come to them. But everywhere I looked in the bible, He said, “Go ye.” He said that He has ordained you that you should go and bring fruit into the house of God. How many of you are still with me now? Today, people sit around in many churches. Other churches don’t do it like that. They have a program where they are constantly moving and doing something for the Lord. It is a shame that kind of enthusiasm—the anointing of the Holy Ghost and the way they did it in the Book of Acts—is not here today. That is what has to come with the last great outpouring that God is going to give because He showed how He is going to do it.
He is going to where people are hidden, where people have not had the chance to be witnessed to, and people are just there that God is going to bring in. But He said, go ye and bring forth fruit that your fruit should remain. It takes prayer and constant type of seeking the Lord and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit will remain. But to sit around and wait for people to look you up, you see, that won’t work. He said, go ye and bring forth fruit. I know some people are old. They don’t have cars. They don’t have the ways to go. Many of them are intercessors and they pray, but they can still—all can witness. They may not have a personal evangelism or a ministry like that, but each can do a certain thing. Some children are too small, but this is God’s Holy Word to me. This message should be preached in the churches more often. If you give the people something to do, they will begin to be much happier than they have ever been.
Listen to this here in Luke 14:23: “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out unto the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” The servant, that’s the Holy Spirit. Now, at the end of the age, the last-minute work that God does [will do] upon the earth will fill His House. It’s that quick short work. It’s through great crises and perilous times, and through the prophetic anointing because the Spirit of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. And as they begin to prophesy [at] the end of the age, and the predictions and power of the Lord begin to come to pass—it will be a quick short work—through the prophetic power and the power of the Holy Spirit, the church will be filled. But we notice in this scripture that is associated with the scripture “that my house may be filled,” is the scripture, “Go out.” Go out into places where they have never been before and give them a witness.
We found in the book of Acts that they went from house to house. They went everywhere on the street corners besides the great crusades and the great meetings; they worked every way they could work as long as they could work. Now, the utmost part of the earth, it is our job to see that we canvass everything [everywhere]. How many of you are still with me now? This is to those that want to do something. Luke 10:2, “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of harvest, that he would send laborers into his harvest.” What does this show us? It just shows us that there will be a great harvest at the end of the age—and many times, in the ages that He saw—the hour that He really needed the workers, they were busy sleeping.
It was like when Jesus was going to the cross, He said, “Can’t you pray with me for just one hour?” The same thing at the end of the age here; He knew it would come. But we are speaking now that the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. It shows that right at the time that great harvest of the earth was [is] coming; the laborers would [will] be very few. They were [are] having pleasurable times. They are going the opposite direction from what God is telling them. Their mind is not on the lost. Their mind is not on witnessing for the Lord. Their mind is not even in coming to church or to pray for the lost. The cares of this life have overcome them until they don’t even know who or what they are. They are the so-called Christians of our age and He said, “I will spew them out of my mouth.” Jesus told me that people who don’t work, He generally spews them out of His mouth. He is the God that believes in having the people work, and the workman is worthy of his hire. Can you say, Amen? Praise the Lord!
This must be preached because we are coming to an age when He will give you the enthusiasm, the vitality and power. So, Luke 10: 2: “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest….” He is the Lord of the harvest. We are going to pray. Those who can’t go, they can pray. We are to pray at the end of the age that God would send forth laborers into the harvest. But it showed right there that in the great harvest there were few workers…. A while ago, when I was talking about the ecclesiastical system of apostasy, the bible said they would come in the Name of the Lord. They would even come using the Name, not for anything, but as a front and deceive many. They really overwork in those false systems and the true system has fallen short here. They [the false systems] gain recruits and the cults are good at this too. They seem to gain people to where the real true gospel people and the real Pentecostal people have fallen short because mostly, they are ashamed, saith the Lord. Now, that wasn’t me. How many of you are still with me? I know exactly when my mind stops, and the Lord begins. That is something!
For they are ashamed, saith the Lord. You know in Pentecost; they have in there the power of the Holy Spirit. There is the utterance of the tongue. There is the gift of prophecy. There are the gifts of miracles and healing, the prophets and the miracle workers, the interpretation and the discerning of spirits. All of these gifts are involved and the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and salvation. The Lord Jesus Christ is an Eternal Person. We know that or He could not give eternal life. With all these things God has given them the fulness of His mercy and He has given them power, should they use it. Yet, because it is different sometimes from what the rest are preaching, they [true Pentecostals] hold back saying, you know, that they will be criticized. Therefore, the devil tricks them and makes them ashamed. Be bold, saith the Lord, and go ye forth and I will bless thine hand. Glory to God!
How do you think the apostles became apostles? Boldly, they went forth. People today, they want to do something for the Lord, they can’t even talk to somebody down the street. See; that shows you right there. That’s what the Lord is showing us today. Thanks be to God! I believe that many of the people that are with me are not ashamed. Paul said, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. I went to kings. I went to the pauper. I went to the jailer and everywhere.” I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is real. What we have got here in this building and the way that the Lord moves, none should be ashamed…. Brother, you are confirmed. There it is! You have something to work for. But other people, they go out and they bring them in, and they don’t have power to convince them. Yet they are not ashamed of their part of the gospel. So, today, let’s push the shame back. Let’s go forth and tell them about Jesus. How many of you are still with me?
Now, remember it would almost deceive the very elect at the end of the age…. Now, the early church brought many to Christ by witnessing. Isaiah 55:11 says His Word shall not return void. That’s true. The Holy Spirit spoke directly to me and He said, “Those who are with thee are personal witnesses to my work. They have seen the sign.” He didn’t put ‘s’ on the ‘sign.’ He didn’t put ‘s’ on that one—and the wonders and miracles. He said, they have seen the sign of the Lord. That is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! You know at the beginning of the sermon, I said He came down with the word of knowledge and He told me this. I am telling you right here, right now. Listen to it close because He said it. I am going to tell you.
The Holy Spirit spoke directly to me and said, “Those that are with thee are personal witnesses to my work.” You have witnessed what is happening here too, see? That’s what He meant. They have seen the sign and the wonders, and the miracles and have felt my Presence. So, shall they be soul winners. How many of you believe that? I really believe that. Some of them in this building right here today are really going to be soul winners. I have never seen Him fail when He comes in a message. I don’t know how many, but somebody and several are going to be soul winners for the Lord from this church here. They are going to be that way. Maybe they have been wondering what the Lord wants to do with them. Listen to this real close: He said as the age closes, He will give them a special Word and an up lift. God is going to move! There is no more happiness and joy than to witness for the Lord.
You keep your own salvation by witnessing to others. Some can do more than others can do; we know that. Some are destined to do more than others. As the age closes, we are going to teach people personal evangelism…. I am telling you; the age is going to close, and the harvest is going to be past. The age is going to be ended and we are not saved, the bible says. That means the people that are left behind there. Listen to this right here: [Bro. Frisby asked for volunteers to do personal evangelism and witnessing]. Each one can be a witness, but not personal evangelistic work…. In the book of Acts, they anointed them at the proper time. I will indeed pray and if God calls me to fast, I will do that before I lay my hands on them [the volunteers], however He would want me to do that and set them aside. Then they must be serious. It wouldn’t be anything social, but it should be a witness…for the Lord Jesus Christ. It must be something that they have a desire so much inside them to do—to tell of the Lord Jesus, to show what the Lord is doing here and witness for the Lord—whether the people come [to Capstone Cathedral] or not.
So, we must mobilize…. I would say this myself; I don’t get out….but…if you know any evangelist or preacher or anybody that has worked in visitation and is a preacher and is wanting a job—if they are not doing anything at this time–and they are skilled in personal evangelism and bringing people to church, I will give them a job. They will receive a salary. The workman is worthy of his hire and they can go out and work for the Lord. I don’t want evangelists sitting around doing nothing saying, “I don’t have anywhere to preach.” I will put him to work. Get him here! Amen…. If you know anybody that is honest, full of the Holy Spirit who would like to be involved in visitation from home to home, or visitation in bringing people to church, then the workman is worthy of his hire; they will receive some kind of salary. Others will do it a little bit here and there, witnessing; they won’t charge–but this people that are in the ministry, people that are working that way—we want people that are honest, and we will put them to work.
Jesus went here and there, and He went everywhere with the gospel. Besides His great crusade and His healings, He taught us as an example that we must work for the Lord because the night cometh when no man can work, saith the Lord. People sit around. They think they have got forever and ever to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and it is closing off or He wouldn’t give me this message. [ Frisby made some remarks about future advertisements to bring people/sinners to Capstone Cathedral]. God is going to give us a visitation. Did you ever see anything grow unless you get up and water the garden and took care of it? If you get out and do that, then it will grow. How many of you feel you want to work for the Lord? Praise God! This sermon may be different, He got me into all of this and yet the sermon is just like the book of Acts….
The bible says we are to do all we can for the Lord Jesus…. He said a quick short work is coming. So, we are to press ahead. Prepare ye the way of the Lord! Then He said, “Occupy until I come.” The night cometh when no man can work. Time is short. So, witness. A good working church doesn’t have time to criticize or gossip. Well, how did I get that in there! Praise God. That’s the best in the whole thing in the sermon. I don’t remember putting that there. Maybe the Lord put it there. Alright, the question is settled: Ye are my witnesses and He commanded it in the bible. Women can witness too. There is no scripture against women witnessing for the Lord. Have you ever found one?
Let me prove it right here. Women, many times, they don’t think they can do anything for the Lord. Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord. Neither is there male or female or a little child in that. He said a little child should lead them. Remember, there is no scripture against women doing that part there. There are scriptures where, for her own sake—God loves her so much that He made these rules to help her from a lot of pitfalls and from a lot of heartaches. I have prayed for women. They have mental problems. They went at it different from what the bible says. They wanted to do something for God, and they got into such a mess. Their home and everything are messed up and they can’t do anything. If they had just listened to the Lord! He knew that the woman was the one who was in the fall. God loves the woman as much as the man. He put those laws not to be against her or anything. He knows according to His plans and her system and body, there are certain things that a woman cannot do because they will bring her mental anguish and she will lose it. How many of you are with me? But this one thing here: Sure, [women] pray for the sick—the gifts even working—prophesy in the audience, there could be tongues and interpretation. The Holy Spirit will move inside men and women and children, wherever there is an open heart.
But one thing a woman can do here: she can witness for the Lord Jesus Christ the same as a man can witness of the gospel. When Paul said for women to be quiet in the churches, Paul was speaking about the church laws, the church regulations of the gospel and how the Lord set up the churches up there. Paul said let the woman be silent on the matters of revelation, how the church is set up because it is built upon the Rock—the Lord Jesus Christ. She can evangelize, but as far as coming under the rules of the pastoral type—she can sing, she can lead songs—that is where the Lord draws the line. So, concerning church matters, the Lord has seen it best to put it in there. So, there is the point. If she wants to know anything that the men are doing or handling in the church, she should go home; her husband will explain it to her, Paul said. This in no way has cut the woman out, because many prophesied. Phillip’s four daughters preached the gospel. We have the record there. She can praise the Lord in the church. That is not concerning the law and church matters and all those things. However, the women used that to keep their mouths shut and then talk about everything else.
Buy ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord. How many of you are still with me this morning? That is exactly right. I know where the scriptures are and there is no way the scriptures can change that. Let’s put it this way: neither male nor female, nor any race, nor any color, but we are all—black, white, yellow, everybody—we are all witnesses to the Lord. In Isaiah 43:10, He said, “Ye are my witnesses.” Now, we go back, concerning the witnesses—listen to this: in the upper room. How many of you know that women were in the upper room? We know that when the Holy Spirit came, the fire fell upon them. It says this in Acts 1: 8, “But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Jesus said those in the upper room, all of them who were in there and that included both kinds—men and women—He said ye are my witnesses in Samaria, in Judaea, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. So, we see there, the baptism of the Holy Spirit was upon all of them. He told them, altogether, that they were His witnesses to the uttermost part of the earth. How many of you are still with me right now? Can you say praise the Lord? How many of you this morning want to be counted as a witness to the Lord? Every hand should be raised up on that one right there. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
How many of you in this church right now would like to be in personal evangelism or visitation? Raise your hands. My, my, my! Isn’t it wonderful? God will bless your hearts. So, ye are my witness to the utmost part of the earth. In all of this, the Lord explained His divine love, showing us what we must do. But when you look around, you can see that the Pentecostal church to the Full Gospel church has fallen short in witnessing and personal evangelism. Believe me the whole bible is built upon that. That is the foundation right there. Each church will save [get another person saved], each one will save another until the whole world that Jesus called is reached –the ones that He has called. That is wonderful! We are not supposed to do the separating. We are not supposed to pick out which ones will make it and which ones won’t exactly. We are not supposed to do that. The Holy Spirit said He will do the choosing. We are to be witnesses. We are to take the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and there will be a great blessing in it. How many of you say praise the Lord this morning? Amen. You should feel real good.
I want you to stand to your feet in here. Keep this fresh in your mind. Each day get your scripture and begin to read it. Ask God to show you what He wants you to do for Him. When you see people coming that you, yourself, has spoken to—when you see them getting healed and when you see them getting saved—you will feel such great joy. Maybe, you will see four or five that you have brought that God will sweep in into the kingdom of God, there is no greater enthusiasm and satisfaction than in seeing that. When things like that begin to move and the church gets on fire, man, then you’ve got something to jump about! Wow! That’s the Lord! That’s when we jump. Hey, that’s when we are supposed to jump and praise God! Sure, get out and do something. Then we’ve really got something to praise God about…. We are going to have a camp-meeting in the air.
If any of you has been tested by the devil since you have been here, in the last few weeks and month, just rebuke the devil and account it that the devil is moving because God wants you to do something for Him or that you are going to do something for Him. Rebuke the devil, for such a time have I called you, saith the Lord. I shall move on you. Glory to God! He is full of surprises. I never for one time thought He would say those words. He knows what He is doing. So, when the devil comes to test [you], when the devil pushes, you are really fixing to walk on scorpions now, and put them down. He said these signs shall follow them that believe. He said He will be with them even to the end…. I am going to pray over all of you. If you want to be an intercessor or a soul winner, make it up in your mind. Come on down in front. God is going to give us miracles tonight. Come on, praise ye the Lord!
