Elijah’s Exploits | Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #799 | 8/3/1980 AM

Glad you got to come here tonight. Do you feel good, real good? We’ll see what the Lord does for us tonight [Bro. Frisby made some comments about upcoming Wednesday services]. Now, the way that this came, I’ll tell you about it. It will take me a long time to preach it. He will bless it. But first, I am going to pray that the Lord touch your hearts tonight. I made a statement a couple of weeks ago that I would want this anointing on me to get on the people. See; it’s coming. It will come on you and it is coming as God drops it. There is enough that He can keep dropping it month by month until you can carry it no more. There is plenty of it for everybody. God never runs out of the anointing. You can run out of all the worldwide supplies, but you can’t run out of that. Isn’t that wonderful? It [the anointing] is eternal. It’s just infinite.

Lord, touch your people tonight. You have gathered them together to hear this message. It means something; the way that you brought it, it’s going to help thine people’s hearts. It will turn their hearts to the direction that you want them to go, and what you want them to know. Now, bless them altogether here tonight. Oh, give the Lord a good handclap! Praise the Lord! Amen. Bless your hearts…. [Bro. Frisby made some comments about upcoming crusades, services and prayer line and so on]. I feel that in the age that we are living in, this is the time to get all of God that you can get. But I tell you one thing: if you don’t want it, don’t worry about it. It will just pick you up, knock you down and carry you to wherever you are supposed to be besides here. Amen. That’s exactly right.

Alright tonight, the message, the way it came—I said, well—I was starting to get up. It’s like winds, you know, so I just laid back there for a minute. So, I said, that was really supernatural. I am sensitive with the Holy Spirit on me to discern and know when God is moving because I feel Him all the time. He is there. You feel Him roaring—a feeling—I couldn’t describe it to you if I wanted to…. It’s kind of like He’s got a mantle or veil of the supernatural around there to bring the message, to pray for the people and to run them off and bring the ones that He loves. Did you catch it? How many of you caught that? So, when you feel like you are alone, you people in the audience, and you feel like you are fighting a battle, go back to where Elijah stood at that time. Yet, God had a surprise for him.

Anyway, it moved on me and I heard Him. He spoke to me and He told me where to go—to Elijah. I have preached on Elijah before. Probably, it’s been preached all over the world, probably it would be preached somewhere tonight. But it comes from the Lord in a way that is different from the way people preach it. Some of this I have preached before and I won’t touch on it too much to the point that I have touched on it before, but on some points where there are new things that can help you. Then I will bring out those revelations as the Lord gives me. How appropriate! I have been telling you about getting the anointing out to the people at the end of the age. Now, He brings me back to Elijah, the prophet, very significant too. So, He sent me in there, and I began to read a chapter of [about] Elijah. Then the Lord moved on me to go deeper and I found out—I got my message ready and He spoke to me for two more messages that went on to Elisha.

Now, the exploits of Elijah and Elisha: We’ll finish Sunday night on Elisha…. Listen, what do you need tonight or what do you need tomorrow? God will provide. He will actually go out of His way, but you must begin to expect the Lord, and you must turn your faith loose. You must activate it. How many of you realize that? Begin to expect, you see, and get ready for anointing and miracles of supply, and the Lord will bless your heart. He will provide. If you ever worried about God and how He would provide, get it! He will stand by you. You know, many times when He gets you to where it seems there is no way out, He’s got you where He wants you. That’s where He had Elijah and the woman there.

So, listen to it tonight…. The Lord wants me to bring this with this anointing and it is special. Now, it teaches you; never give up, and never outguess the Lord. Don’t question Him. Stay right with Him. Don’t be discouraged. Now, you can feel the discouragement coming. Satan will try to pull you down into trouble and discouragement, but don’t give up. You hold on. God is getting you sometimes where He wants you and then there is great blessing and there is great deliverance for the people. He will supply supernaturally….

We are going to pray. I never dreamed that I would run into this tonight. Lord, whatever has come into this auditorium here…it is bound. Now, I take authority over this… and I loose satan. I command you, go from this building! He [satan] came here to stop this message tonight—a three-part message that God spoke to me. There is a binding in that audience there. Just come on, get your heart loosed…. As sure as the Lord sent back to start these Wednesday night services, satan would come in somehow upon the people’s minds. Their minds will be on everything but what God wants to bring to them…. Their minds are wandering here and there and tonight, it looks like the unity is split. So, begin to praise the Lord. Those of you that are in the spirit of God begin to praise the Lord in your hearts and the Lord will lead you into listening. You can’t listen to this message as you are now because something is bound up there and it’s got to be loosed. I take dominion over you, just like Elijah, the prophet, you hear me the same way, Lord and we rebuke those spirits that bind the people’s hearts away from the message. I believe tonight that you’ve loosened that thing in there. Bless the people as we get into the message.

I will restore, saith the Lord. Oh, Glory to God! That’s wonderful! Listen! Activate your faith tonight for satan knoweth his time is short…. He knows it and he has come up against the brethren. He has come up against the very elect to take away the faith. Even as he has stolen it from Israel…he will [try to] steal it from the bride of Christ, he cannot. He cannot deceive the elect of God. Look unto me, saith the Lord tonight and I shall anoint. I will bless and satan is defeated. It is written in my Word; he is cast ou Oh, Glory to God! Alleluia! Just those words of prophecy will break this down here. The word of prophecy comes to show you the importance of how God comes to His people and how He can break things down and minister to the people. Satan will [try to] withstand it, but he cannot do it. So, we see, with all this, and the way the Lord is moving, hold on to His promises. Do exactly what He said a while ago and He will bless you.

It seemed Elijah would appear and disappear like a bolt of lightning. There is one thing I noticed about his ministry: he was very bold, very curt and he didn’t stay there [in one place] very long. He moved very quickly, and it was in short sentences that he did things many times. That was the type of his ministry. He was similar to a hermit. He did not mix with people; he was withdrawn, and he would get away from them. He was always in the wilderness and he was just like a typical hermit. But Elisha, his successor, upon whom he dropped the mantle, Elisha was a mixer. He would mingle among the sons of the prophets…. He was a different type altogether. But Elijah was the one that pushed down the Baal, the one that God sent at that time. At the end of Malachi, it tells us he would come again. Revelation 11 gives us more details about that, but he is coming again. So, he was in the wilderness. God held him back and he would come all of a sudden unannounced and then he would leave. He would come again, and he would disappear unexpectedly…. Finally, he went up and they didn’t see him anymore. So, we need the boldness and the startling faith of Elijah the prophet to gather the people of the Lord. This kind of faith…and the power that comes from the Lord…this is what is going to gather and break down the idols and the Baal altars that are in the United States and the around the world. It will be that kind of anointing—not Elijah, the prophet, [coming] to the Gentiles himself–but the anointing and power of Elijah that will come to the people. How many of you believe that? You believe that tonight?

Turn with me to 1st. Kings 17. This [message] has three parts and we’ll see what the Lord has here. Remember, John said [was asked], “Are you Elijah?” He said I am not. But Jesus said that he, John, came in the spirit of Elijah. Elijah must first come and restore all things, you know, at the end of the world and so forth like that (Matthew 17: 11) …. That’s the way the Lord operates there. See; an outbreak is coming. First, we have to break down the resistance, knock down the altars and turn the people back to the apostolic doctrin If they don’t come back—but they must be turned back to the apostolic doctrine. The children must come back to that apostolic doctrine. When this happens, that is called restoration, not just revival. When it comes, we are going to have one of the greatest outpourings on that group. In fact, it is [going to be] so powerful and so strong as it comes to the people of God that they cannot stay on the earth. Pretty soon, they are just magnetized and swept out of the earth. That is how it would be. It is so powerful that it will change and carry the people away.

That is a powerful anointing. It was so powerful on Elijah that it changed him, and he went away…. It is symbolic. It is coming… Bro Frisby read 1st. Kings 17 v. 1. See; he was standing before the Lord. Not even the dew; he just cut out the dew and rain, and all. Bro. Frisby read vs. 2 & 3. Now, that is a desolate place in there, not even a scorpion could hardly survive in such a place…. God hid His prophet. It was a desolate place there, but God was going to take care of him. Bro Frisby read v. 4. That brook had water when there was no water elsewhere. But finally, the day would come when the brook would dry up and God would be ready to move him. “So, he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook” (v. 5). In the bible, when God says something about your healing and the Lord speaks it, you obey that Word, God will stand behind you. If you disobey, He won’t. But if you obey what He is telling you about your healing, you shall receive healing. But if you want to listen to mockers and scoffers, you cannot get anything. But if you listen to His Word—in my Name, you can ask anything, and it will appear. It will occur to you there.

Frisby read 1st1 Kings 17 vs. 5 -7. And so, he went according to the Word of the Lord. He went and dwelt by the brook Cherith. He stood before Ahab. Suddenly, he was there, and he pronounced the judgment that would occur. They didn’t believe him. They probably scoffed at him. Pretty soon, the sky became dull. There was no rain. The grass began to dry up. The cattle had no water. This man that appeared looked like a man from another world…. The bible said that he was a hairy man, and he was in a kind of an ancient garb there. A rustic old prophet appears to him [Ahab] there, spoke those words to him, and they paid him no attention. It was like he was from another planet; yet the word that he spoke came to pass. Not only was there no rain, but he even said there wouldn’t be any moisture in the air…. We know this according the scriptures that in the last 42 months on earth would come the same thing [no rain], God will bring it upon the earth. That will cause the armies to come on down in the great battle of Armageddon.

Frisby read v.6. “And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.” Right there where God wanted him to be. “And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee” (1 Kings 17: 7-9). Jesus made mention of this later when He came (Luke 4: 5-6). “So, he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel that I may drink” (v. 10). Immediately, he obeyed the Lord even though he knew that they were after his life. “And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thy hand. And she said, As the Lord liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and behold, I am gathering two sticks that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat and die” (1 Kings17: 11 -12). She could look at him and tell that he had God. She was completely discouraged at that time and had given up just completely (v. 12). God had her just exactly where He wanted her. Then she would be able to believe for a miracle. Elijah was also where God wanted him. When the two got together, there were sparks, saith the Lord. Oh, isn’t that wonderful!

So, many times, you in the audience tonight, listen to me: this is what satan didn’t want [me] to preach to you people tonight. Sometimes, it seems like there is nothing to do but just give up there, see? Even the great prophet after his great victories—there is something about great victories, you have to watch afterwards. You will be tested like everything, from satan. Elijah, himself, was nevertheless, when he got to the woman just like that—and you in the audience tonight, you get to the point when you want to give up. It doesn’t seem like the finances are coming right. It may not look like the food is coming right. It may look like the weather has gotten control of you…. It just seems like a family member went against you, some person that you love dearly has gone against you or it just seems like you don’t feel good. It seems like God is a million miles away. The woman here said God is a million miles away from me. I am ready to die. I am gathering sticks and God was right there in front of her. How many of you are still with me now? And when He gets you, just like the woman and Elijah, He is ready to do something for you. If you would just remember that and reach on out when you listen to this cassette.

Anybody, all over the country, when you get into that position, just reach on out and rejoice, and keep rejoicing. It won’t be long until that Elijah anointing will provide. The Elijah anointing will bring a miracle to you. The Lord will defeat whatever is causing it [your problem] and lift you up and set you on high. Can you say, praise the Lord? Now, watch out how this story goes here. It may be different from how you’ve heard it before. It’s the way He brought it to me and it’s the way I am going to bring it to you. “And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me and after make for thee and thy son” (v. 13). First of all, he stopped the fear right there. We did that at the beginning of the service. Satan tried to bind up the hearts. He took the fear right out of the woman. He said, don’t fear. You have to get that [fear] out of there and begin to get the anointing to get to work.

“For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until that day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth” (1 Kings 17: 14). You see, he told her who he was from, and who the God of Israel was. “…. Until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth” or restores His power upon Israel. And it occurred too. Israel swung back, 7,000 men, after Elijah’s great exploit. He [Elijah] thought nobody turned back. Later, God came and told him what had occurred there. Sometimes, you don’t know how much good you are doing for God or even this ministry here or what is happening all over the country. Like Elijah himself, he had seen so much power…. He had done so much for them that he though again that probably it was a failure, that the people did not turn any better. Yet, God said 7,000 had turned [to God] after he [Elijah] escaped and God met him at the cave….

Bro Frisby read v. 14. She obeyed his word there. She didn’t go arguing about it. Nowhere in the scriptures did it say she argued about it. And she and Elijah and her son did eat many days. Now, the Lord brought this to me. You remember this: some people say, “Well, just believe that one time, she believed, look at what God did! She had to believe each day that that was the prophet of the Lord. She had to believe each day that the Lord would perform that miracle again, and if she doubted it, it would not come. How many of you know that? So, each day, what’s remarkable about the woman? She was able, even after she was full, she was able each day to believe God and it just kept coming, and it just kept coming in the faith of God. She and Elijah believed God together and they had plenty to eat every day. But they couldn’t doubt. They believed the Lord day after day and it made the devil so mad…. He got mad at that oil that it kept coming. He knew that one of these days, God would send a great revival. Satan, you see, he watches where he can strike. He stands around, you know, and he watches where he can strike. He doesn’t care, Elijah or who it is, he will strike. When he does, he wants to get even with this thing, see?

The barrel of meal wasteth not. Now, there is an incident. If you notice when He gets you right down—sometimes, there is great prosperity from the Lord. He blesses His people and all that, but there are tests and there are trials many times. You may go through them for quite a while, but all things work together for them that love the Lord. We’ve often read that scripture here. Remember, when He gets you down like that, many times, He’s got you where He wants you and when you are near me, the power of God will restore. The Lord will give you a miracle. And the other thing is this: after that you have believed for a miracle, you must keep, believing and [must] believe God each time you want a miracle. Don’t just believe once and think that God is going to keep sending miracles. You have to renew yourself each day; die daily in the Lord. Believe the Lord and He will keep on and keep on doing things for you. That’s the second thing.

We are coming to the third thing that the Lord showed me here. Listen real close: so, the woman obeyed, and those miracles took place…. “And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was sore, that there was no breath left in him” (1 Kings 17: 17). Now, rejoicing, just look at the great victory! She saw a miracle that most humans had never realized or seen [except Elisha coming with something similar later in another place]. Of all, the whole world, there she was, able each day to see the miracle multiply itself and never went out. Yet, right in the midst of all that faith, where God’s power was daily working, and working miracles, old satan struck. How many of you know that? He struck right in there where that miracle was, right there where the great work of the Lord was going on. And it was just as great as anything Moses ever did, standing right there. And the Lord, sometimes, just chooses two or three people to do His great wonders. Isn’t that a sight!

And you bring the bride—I was talking a while ago, don’t look for God among the greatest crowds on earth to be doing all of His things. Sometimes, He will call a group of people and show some of the greatest wonders that the world has ever seen, to a smaller group. Are you still with me now? Go back to the days of the apostles; we had the great crowds, we also had the times when the crowd fell away…. We have seen photographs and all these things here, the Pillar of Fire and the Cloud, and the glories of the Lord…. He is about to do something very great upon the earth. This that He did [miracle of supply] had been spoken by preachers for ages and ages of the miracle that occurred. It means something at the end of the age. He will supply [for] the prophet of that age and the people that are with that prophet. There will probably be—as we have seen many tests and many trials, and travailing—it will come forth in travailing there.

Listen to this right here now, and it symbolizes the going away of the elect too…. I just pray that the mantle of God would just come down and bless your souls. So, the devil began to strike and it upset Elijah. At first, he thought God had done it. No, the Lord allowed it, but satan is the one that makes [one] sick. See; God was the One that healed Job; satan was the one that struck him with boils. How many of you know that? So, after the great miracle: “And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with the, O thou man of God? Art thou come unto me to call my sin into remembrance, and to slay my son” (1 Kings 17: 18). Somewhere, she had committed a sin, but that was [not] the exact reason why that occurred. Probably, that was a long time ago and the Lord had forgiven her. So, she thought that was the only thing that “I can see that made this happen.” But the Lord was going to restore so much confidence in that woman. It would be the same thing at the end of the age. Through that anointing, there would be restored fantastic wonders there.

“And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up to a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed” (v. 18). Now, watch, there is another thing: you can’t live on yesterday’s victories and laurels. You may have had a fantastic exploit take place. You may have received a great miracle in your body. You may have received a financial miracle of some sort. You may have received wonders and signs. But you cannot rest on what God has done for you yesterday or the day before that. They had great victory a few days before this, but right at that time old satan struck. So, don’t rest on your laurels from time past. Each time I come; I expect God to do something for His people. So, this is the case. That is the third thing: never take God for granted because he works wonders in you. The Lord works many miracles. But remember, at the time of great victory, satan will strike.

Some people, many times—I will bring this as the Holy Spirit is showing me here—many people will receive a miracle, a healing to their body, and all of a sudden, maybe a little while, they go through a test or a trial, they think it strange that some fiery test has tried them. But if they would read the scriptures, He is right on time: You need to hold on to God and even more blessings are coming. That’s how you build your faith. That’s how you grow in the Lord. How many of you know that a tree is planted, and it starts to grow and the wind beats on that tree back and forth? You say, “It’s so small, how is that tree going to make it up? But it gets stronger and stronger, and it can stand those winds. It grows right in there and it’s strong…. As the winds of tests and trials sweep after great victory—remember, if satan tries to strike you—just look back at what the bible said. You will grow when those winds and trial come by; hold on. Your faith will grow. Your mind and your heart will be strong in the Lord, so that He can translate you. That’s exactly right.

So, there it is: great victory, and don’t ever live on what happened to you in a miracle the day before or afterwards. Keep your eyes open. So, he [Elijah] took the boy up in the loft there (1st. Kings17: 19). Now, I know why: because many times, my own self, where I am resting, the anointing will become very strong if I am there for a very long time; especially where I sleep, you can hear the power of God…. So, he knew where he reached out and felt God talk to him. And the Lord did appear to him and talked to him. And that bed where he was, it was probably just an old thing there–that was so saturated with the power of God that he laid that little boy down there where the Holy Spirit had come to him. The Angel of the Lord, the Power of the Lord was there; he knew where to go. He took the boy and got away from her because it would be very hard for her to understand…. “And He cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son” (v.20)? All of a sudden, in the midst of what God had done for him, the devil struck out and he got shook up and thought that God had slain the boy. The Lord allowed it. He is going to bring a great victory. The devil is the one who slays. How many of you know that? He is the shadow of death.

So, Elijah cried out. Like some said, for a moment, he got his theology mixed up there for a second, but he knew what he was doing. “And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again” (v.21). Now, why three times? The Word of God is revealed three times—in the mouth of two or three witnesses, it shall be established. But in the bible, three is number of revelation; how God reveals His plan. He is fixing to reveal the whole revelation of why he (Elijah) came there. And now, He is revealing the whole revelation to the woman of the great power of the Lord. So, three times and he cried unto the Lord. He said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let the child’s soul come unto him again. “And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again and he revived” (v.22). Now, the soul was gone; God held it…. God wanted you to know the child was certainly dead. The spirit was gone, and the great prophet was going to call it back. That was the first time in the bible that we’d seen a person die and come to live again from a prophet like that…. It was a great miracle of the Lord…. So, the soul came unto him again.

Talk about miracles. This little chapter is so full of miracles. The anointing needs to be all over you people. “And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived” (1 Kings17: 22). You say does God hear?” The bible always says that the prophet heard the Voice of God. Here it says God heard the voice of Elijah. He’s got ears too, doesn’t He? He will hear your voice when you cry. He knows all about it. “And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, see, thy son liveth” (v. 22). You know at the end of the age, the manchild church is going to be revived. God is going to bring a restoration revival and it [the manchild church] is going to be caught up to God. Already, he took the child upward [to the loft]…and he revived that child.

I can tell you one thing: there is coming a restoration revival and that manchild is going to be taken upward with the power and the Elijah anointing, and be changed in the twinkle of an eye. God will be with them. Isn’t that wonderful? That is great! And then Elijah took the child and brought him out of the chamber and delivered him to his mother, and Elijah said, “See, they son liveth” (v. 23). That was a great miracle that God performed there! “And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth” (v. 24). How many of you believe that? We don’t know [whether] the more that that miracle would take place–each day, she was beginning to wonder, “Is this magic.” Now, the devil comes, how many of you know that? He was already there because the boy wouldn’t die, if satan wasn’t around there: and he was trying to get through there. The Lord, seeing that satan was going to come against that miracle [food supply], then suddenly this other event [the death of the child] took place. Satan thought, “If I just strike that child, then they would give up.” So, he struck the child, but they didn’t give up. Elijah didn’t; he went to God.

Elijah had never seen anything like that before. The old prophet of the Lord—I don’t know how old he was, we call him that [old] because of the type of life [he lived]. One of the reasons, I think, is because he is still alive somewhere. Glory to God! He is old, isn’t he? Thousands of years old. How many of you realize that? The bible said he never died. God took him away, a type of the church, ancient, immortal still, until he comes again. That’s wonderful! And yet, the prophet, not knowing if it had ever been done or not [raising the dead] came right on in there with the Lord and he reached up to heaven. Isn’t that wonderful there! Death could not stop the prophet. He was right there with the Lord.

So, throughout all this chapter, you see the dealings—how that the Lord deals. When He gets you sometimes, when you think there is no way out, suddenly the anointing is there! That’s where He has got you! He will bless you. He will send you in front of this anointing. God will bless you or you will get my literature and cassette. The other thing is that you [should] believe each day for a fresh anointing of God. The woman had to believe each day…and the oil and meal kept coming each day that she believed. It just kept coming like that. After all that too, remember, you can’t live on yesterday’s laurels. You must, each day, be afresh with God if you want miracles from the Lord. And another thing, after a great victory, satan will strike afterwards. So, think it not strange after you have received a victory from the Lord that satan one time or the other, will try to hinder you. So, all these lessons are right here. It also, depicts, at the end of the age, how God cares for His people, how the great exploits are going to take place.

We will see cases similar to what Elijah had here and we will see creative miracles of the Lord, and the power, that great anointing that is here now. It is getting stronger upon His people here. So, all of these, in this one chapter. How many of you feel that power of the Lord? Oh, I feel the sound of rain! Don’t you? Oh, can’t you feel here the power of God! Throw up your hands and ask the Lord to bless your hearts here. Anoint them, Lord, with the same kind of anointing that created the oil and the meal, and provide Lord. No matter what the discouragement is and the trouble, I command satan to back off! God, come on down to them and bless their hearts by the Holy Spirit. Move! Oh, praise the Lord. And the Lord will come to His people and out of nowhere, and He will bless them.

So, that was the prophet, curt, short in words, but very powerful. He had no monkey business; he was coming and going in the Presence of the Lord. So, we see that in the bible. At the end of the age, the people will be the same way believing God for great outpouring of the supernatural Presence of the Lord. I want you to bow your heads here…. Lord, some of the people evidently are suffering through trials. Some of those, Lord, are discouraged by other events in their lives. But that is what you sent me to do and that is why you are here tonight with this anointing…. I believe that by Sunday night, they are going to feel the power of the Lord and it will be all over them, to prepare their hearts. And as you begin to prepare your hearts, saith the Lord, open up to me, and I will open up my treasure unto you. Prepare for the anointing and I will send it as the wind, and you will feel the power of the Lord…. Now, while every head is bowed tonight, if you need salvation– well, He’s got all kinds of miracles and wonders, and He will provide. He will help you out of any kind of problem. Maybe, He has got you in a situation now; He wants you to cry out.

[Prayer line: Bro. Frisby prayed for the people to receive more anointing]. You, in the audience, ask the Lord to give you the type of anointing [on Elijah]. The man was just a man. It is that precious anointing that God brings. Open up and say, “Lord, just a touch of that anointing.” Let me tell you one thing: the Presence of the Lord that we feel and the miracle inside that Presence is a fire. It can be where you cannot even see the Fire and yet, see some of the Presence, but it is there. I picked this bible up now in the auditorium, after praying for the sick. I have felt heatwaves out of it from holding that bible, just regular heatwaves that burned my hands here. I am telling you the truth. I have been on that platform where I am preaching, and it just felt like it would turn to heatwaves. That is the Presence of the Lord, He told me.

Inside the Presence of the Lord is a fire. How many of you know that? I believe on Sunday [part 3 of the message] he [Elijah] gets in into where, “If I be a man of God, bring fire down, Lord.” We’ll finally end up with him in some kind of supernatural chariot blazing the heaven with fire. Oh, glory to God! He is coming! Oh, my, my, my! Can’t you feel it tonight? Alleluia! If you want to go on that trip, I want you to come on. Elijah went on a trip from the brook of Cherith. We are going on. He is fixing to leave the woman. He is going in now to turn those baal prophets around. Oh, God is wonderful! Isn’t He? I want the anointing of the Lord to get on everybody in the audience tonight. We want some good revival music and the Lord will bless your hearts. Praise God! [Bro. Frisby prayed for people–for more anointing].
