A Champion’s Faith | Neal Frisby’s Sermon CD #1186 | 12/09/1987 PM

Oh, how wonderful the Lord is! Let’s pray first and we will get to this message and see what the Lord has for us. Lord Jesus we love you and we thank you with all of our hearts. Touch thy people tonight, and those that do not know you very well, move on their hearts. Let them see a little more of you and the power of your faith. Take all of the stress of this life out, Lord. Touch everybody in here and cause the anointing to go in and out of their body giving them peace, and giving them rest and confidence. He will confirm it. Glory! Alleluia! Go ahead and shout the victory! Shout the victory! Praise the Lord Jesus! He is still moving on! We come at him; we come at the devil in different ways. Sometimes, he has to go home and think about it a week or two. Amen. That’s what the Lord told me.

How true and how great is the Word of God, to find out just who He is! Amen? Before the end of the age, the ones that really love the Lord will have to make that stand. And the ones that looked that they were going to make the stand, will find out that they have another place to go in providence. Watch as He draws it right to the line and brings it right down to who are His real people! That is exactly what He is after. He is cutting that diamond real down and getting it perfect in perfection. We will know soon. Many things are going to happen to cause this. Keep your eyes open unto God and listen to these messages, and He will really bless you.

A Champion’s Faith: You know in the book of Hebrews, it told about all the great champions of faith. Every one of them is listed in there in the great faith, in the Hall of Faith. Then in our own age, we will still have the same thing, there will be champions of faith. The elect are the champions of faith. How many of you believe that? Amen. Listen to this real close: today, many Christians are actually talking in defeat. Everything that practically comes out of their mouths is defeat…. Many Christians are actually talking in defeat. They say, “Oh well.” They say, they tried. That’s what they always say. They saw others’ faults and they saw others’ failures; “So, well, I’ll just give up too.” Excuses like that are based on sand. That house is on sand, saith the Lord. It is not based on the Rock that I spoke about. I, the Lord Jesus Christ, told you about it. I believe that. A real Christian stands solid. He stands there 24 hours a day. He believes in the Lord Jesus Christ in His heart. No matter what happens, he believes. No matter what satan does.

Now watch, champion: that champion will come in this generation. There will only be a champion of faith, one time, and that will be the elect. He will rise to heights that none other has risen [to] in thousands of years. They will rise to that height…. So, they are built [on] what? That’s on sand. It’s not built on the Rock that Jesus spoke about because He spoke that those that are wise would listen “to the words that I speak, and they are true….” This is exactly what the bible said would happen at His coming, our time now. Now, I am going to quote some scriptures, a few of them you have heard before, but I have added to them the interpretation of the Holy Spirit and what great men have said and so forth. Listen real close: this time of the year, we are going into a new year, you want to listen and keep your faith very strong. The more they talk about peace, the bible said, the closer in destiny, you are to my coming. That’s exactly right. So. We’ll quote some scriptures and see what the Lord has.

Now listen to this right here. First, let’s read Acts 1: 3, “To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by may infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” That word, infallible proofs, oh! Now, this part of the bible we don’t know but very little about. It’s like the book of thunders in there where it said that it thundered, and it came down. It said, “John, just leave it alone. It will take place. Don’t write it—the seven thunders, what they uttered in there.” That is the secret to the end of the age, and He takes His elect away from here and starts the tribulation. Well, this part of those 40 days [after the resurrection], we only know a little part of it, but not all those things that Jesus did for them or talked to them about. Listen real close; and for 40 days, they saw infallible proofs and [Jesus] speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Jesus was still preaching after the resurrection to them. He spoke about things pertaining to the kingdom of God and shewed them many infallible proofs. In other words, Paul said you could not dispute it. There is no way you could shove it aside when He finished with them. Infallible means—that is the word used right there—there is no way to disprove it. So real, they couldn’t do anything about it before He left there.

But there was only a few that would listen to Him. I think about 500 saw Him go away and only a part of those people went to the upper room, you see, out of the thousands and thousands that had seen him and all His miracles. But only 500 saw Him go away and He only talked to fewer than that when He shewed them all of these things. We don’t know how many, but probably not quite many there. So, it’s really real. What ought we to be today? Real Christians. We see the book of prophecy in the bible, the events taking place right in front of our eyes and all that He did. What more do we need to see the miraculous power of God? We also have infallible proofs all around us today. Signs everywhere, we see them on every hand there. Listen to this right here: here we are going to start and see what the Lord has for us right here. In all these things…we are more than conquerors—that means you too [here are your champions] through him that loved us. Notice the word ‘more.’ We are that way because He loved us. Now, notice, more not less. We are more than conquerors, not less than conquerors. Notice again: in all things—in all of these things—millions, billions, trillions, if it had to be that, in all these things, we are more than conquerors. In any situation, any kind of a circumstance that you ever are involved in, you are more than a conqueror. That’s what the bible said about it.

See, don’t be defeated like many Christians today. They are more than a willing tool for satan just to get in there, defeat them, run right back out there and get rid of their faith. Don’t be defeated. Many turn [away] because of a test. They can’t stand it and they just pass out of the way. Excuses, saith the Lord, will not win. Excuses are the most terrible thing a person can utter after I have given my Word. You know, there was a parable—I have this excuse, I have that excuse—but in hell, he opened his eyes (Luke 16: 23). The Word of God; this is Him tonight. If you’ ever seen Him, this is Him coming right down to build your faith in an hour that we need it there, saith the Lord. Now, as sure as God puts His children in the furnace, He would be in the furnace with them. There is your test. There is your trial. As sure as He puts you in that furnace, He would go in there with you. H. Spurgeon, a great well-known minister said that. We’ve got it in the bible. Philippians 4: 13, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me—in His power. I can do all things. There is no escape, saith the Lord, from these things. You are more than conquerors. Take advantage of it! That’s where it comes in; as soon as you get in that furnace, He will get in there with you. Glory! Alleluia!

“And this is the will [means document, a sacred document] of him that sent me [the Holy Spirit sent Him], that everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6: 40). How many of you believe that? Listen right here: If God were not willing to forgive sins, heaven would be empty [a German proverb]. How many of you believe that? See; no one would be able to enter unless Jesus came. No one; I mean no one. They would be shut out with satan. They would be shut out for ever. No one would be able to enter. Jesus loves and saves. I enjoy talking to Him more than anyone else that I know. I wrote this. Thank you, Jesus. That was mine right there.

Now, all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer [not just prayer], believing, ye shall receive. If you ask in prayer and He is moving in your heart, you shall receive your expectation. Listen right here: If you pray for bread and bring no basket to carry it in, you prove the doubting spirit which may well be the only hinderance to you and what you asked for [Dwight L. Moody]. You believe that? One time, this child was prayed for. She got her shoes and came to the meeting. She told her mother, “I am going to be healed….” That little girl went out there and got a pair of shoes. Her feet were hurting. She went to the meeting and the girl was healed. That was a definite fact. She put those little shoes on and walked on out of there. God is real! All over the scriptures, the way Jesus Christ told people to do things, the same way, it is similar to that. He would tell them and if they obeyed Him and acted upon…the word spoken by Him, it was like fire on them. It would heal and create. Things were created for them.

Now, he that overcometh shall inherit all things. Look at that tonight: all things, all these things. I can do all things through Christ. “He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be my son (Revelation 21: 7]. Oh, praise the Lord Jesus! Listen to this: Little faith would bring your soul to heaven, but great faith would bring heaven to your soul [Charles Spurgeon]. Great! How great these sayings are! They are matchless, little bits of treasures of divine wisdom here. “Fear not, little flock; for it is you father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12: 32). Don’t worry about it. Don’t let satan steal it from you. Listen to the Word of God (Luke 12: 32). The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith [George Mueller]. The beginning of anxiety—when you get anxiety—in the wrong things and you just twist and turn in your mind and heart, faith can’t take hold and make that connection. It’s like a socket that is bouncing off and can’t make that plug. It just can’t get in there. That anxiety and fear build up in there in such a way. The beginning of anxiety and fear is the end of faith and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety. Oh, my! The end of anxiety—true faith.

“Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you….” (James 4: 8). Listen right here: God has two dwellings; one is in heaven [in that dimension] and the other in meek and thankful hearts. Isaac Walton said that. Two dwellings; one in that thankful heart that loves [Him] and the other one in heaven, and He takes that back with Him—that thankfulness back with Him to heaven. “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God and there is none else” (Isaiah 45: 22). There is no other Savior. Just look to me, God said here in Isaiah. Remember Isaiah 9: 6 tells you all about that. Listen to this right here from Martin Luther, the great reformer in the 15th Listen to what he said: Anything that one imagines of God apart from Christ is just useless thinking and vain idolatry. If you separate Christ from God into another personality, you have an idol on your hands. You are in idolatry. How many of you believe that? You can’t do it. Great is the Lord God. How many of you believe that? Great reformer…. He didn’t have the light we have today. He only had the just shall live by faith. Boy, did he use it!

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24: 35). Listen to this right here: The deathless book (the bible) has survived three dangers; the negligence of its friends [its own friends that set it aside, Jesus was rejected by his friends, it was said in the bible], the false system built upon it [Mystery Babylon, Revelation 17, all the Laodiceans that will come back together Revelation 3: 11], and the warfare of those who have literally hated it (Isaac Taylor). Tried to burn it. Tried to destroy it by communism and all the other isms that have ever come upon this world. They could not destroy that Word. It would stand until God takes His children home. It’s exactly right. The atheists, the cults, the Confucianists, the Buddhists and everyone you can ever think of, all of the types of false religions, their words would never match the matchless Words of the Lord. Listen to this right here: the systems that were built upon it turned against it, but they can’t do away with it. How many of you say, Amen? The deathless book, the greatest book that ever was. How great He is here!

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. For the Lord God, even my God would be with thee. He would not fail thee. You may fail Him, you may fail yourself, you may fail to understand, but God will not fail you. He will not forsake you. You have to get up and walk out on Him against His pure Word. Maybe, you know more than the Lord does. Maybe, that is one of the greatest failures of this generation. Oh, does He know how to talk! I would imagine that is what is the matter, with man today? They are getting so smart. They are ruling themselves out, all the way around, you see. Be careful. If you’ve got education, that is fine, but learn how to use it with the Word of God. That is really great! The geniuses who invented things, if they don’t have God with it, they would just blow up themselves, saith the Lord. They will, at Armageddon.

See; He will not fail thee or forsake thee until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord. I will not forsake you, all of you, any of you working for the Lord today that believe in your heart. He said I will be with thee. I will not fail thee. I will not forsake thee until thou has finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord (1 Chronicles 28:29). Amen. How great it is! Whosoever runs towards God one cubic, God runs toward him twice full speed. He did that for me. I just turned a little bit…my heart turned. I never really wanted to do or be what I am today because I had another craft, another trade. But you know what? I just started quite right and made that one move in my heart when He converted me as a young man and the race was on. God came to me. Anybody—whosoever walks towards God one cubic in his heart, God runs towards him full speed. You lift your hands up and He will pull you out. But if you don’t keep your hands up, you will keep sinking. The world, people in sin, lift their hands up and He will pull them out. He will take them on out of there. This world is in one of the terrible conditions that the world has ever been in the history of the world. We’ve never seen anything like it and yet, it still stands because God wants it that way to get a few more in, and to get the precious Word of God to everyone, building their faith. They are going to have to have powerful faith to be changed and taken out. Amen.

He shall give His angels charge concerning thee and in their hands they shall bear thee up (Matthew 4: 6). The great Lord, He will bear you up and He will help you. Make yourself familiar with the angels and behold them frequently in the spirit, for without being seen, they are present with you. See; be familiar with them. You will feel their presence in here. They are comforting friends. Oh, they love to feel faith. Holy, holy, holy. They are used to feeling that faith and great positive confidence before that throne—power—that when they can get something close to it, they stay right next to it. Right there, as they go back and forth and change their jobs as messengers going back and forth for the Lord Jesus. Oh, how they love faith! They love to see the Word of God produce that faith and power. Boy, they spread that anointing …the anointing of the Lord goes everywhere. So, they are there to watch.

The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate (Psalm 34: 22). None of them that trust in Him shall be desolate. The unseen appears by faith. Listen to this: Faith is to believe on the Word of God, what we do not see, and its reward is to see what we believe for. Oh my! The unseen appears by faith. Faith is to believe the Word of God, what we do not see, and its reward to us is to see and enjoy what we do believe for. St. Augustine wrote that right there by the power of faith. Infallible proofs—in the book of Acts—for 40 days, they saw many, many infallible proofs, startling wonders that Jesus told them pertaining to the kingdom of God.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee. Bind them about the neck. Write them upon the table of thine heart (Proverbs 3: 3). Memorize them, in other words. So, thou shall find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man (Proverbs 3: 3 & 4). Listen to this: He who forgives ends the quarrel (African proverb). You hear that Nigerians, and all of you other people in here? This one comes from another place. He who forgives ends the quarrel—as far as the quarrel is ended (African proverb). That is great wisdom and they are favored by God. You said, “Why [Where] did that happen in the bible?” Oh, thousands of places! Isaac, he was a man of peace. He would not argue, a man of peace. They came up there to Isaac and took a well that he had already paid for and dug. They argued over that well. Instead of fighting over that well, he just went and dug another one. God favored him. He had understanding, Now, if you ran into Jacob, see; he might give you that well, but he would figure out a way to get two more from you if he had to block the water and make it look dry, run you off and then get the well. You see, different age, different people operating there. But not Isaac. That was when Jacob was so young, but he became a prince with God. God changed Jacob, see? And we find out in Proverbs and all over [the bible]; Solomon brought it that way that no good comes out of a quarrel. No good at all would ever become [come out] of a quarrel. I think hell is interwoven in quarrel right now. One of the greatest torments is to go down there arguing all the time. Can you say praise the Lord? It [quarrel] is one of man’s closest friends, but it is not his best friend saith the Lord. It will stay right with that flesh. Hardly is there anyone here that can’t get out sometimes and run into one [quarrel], but if you use your divine wisdom and knowledge, you escape out of it and get away from it. How many of you say praise the Lord?

Now: For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off even to as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2: 39). See; but you must heed that call. Whom God shall call—He has left out none. He has left out no color, no race, no Gentile, no Jew, and some of them in each of these places are going to come to God. Do you believe that? Nobody ever outgrows the scriptures. The book widens, deepens with our years that we grow. Nobody ever outgrows the scriptures; it is divine. How many of you believe that? It just keeps getting deeper and wider, and deeper and wider. More revelations come; God sends somebody, the Lord brings it by power, more power, more revelations, more mysteries, more drama, more miracles, more faith and finally translation. Amen.

My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12: 9). My grace is sufficient now, I will carry you through all these pitfalls. If you are in the furnace, I will get in there with you like [I did] with the three Hebrew children. Beware of despairing about yourself. You are commanded to put your trust in God and not in yourself or your feelings [St. Augustine]. Oh, you must have confidence in yourself too. But if you go by that everyday somebody is going to do this to you, or something is going to happen. The devil is going to strike you there if you go by your feelings, you see. Beware of despairing about yourself. You are commanded to put your confidence in God. How many of you believe that? You may despair—that is another friend—it’s not a good one, but that is another friend that feels sorry for itself. The flesh always [despairs], but won’t get up and do what God said to get out of it. How many of you believe that? He can get you out of there. Remember, He will get you out if you put your hands up in there. If you act upon His Word truly in your heart and you believe that Word, it is done, saith the Lord. That is really great!

Supercharged: Here we are supercharged. The people that get this cassette, I just hope electricity runs all over their bodies and everywhere. Supercharged: They that wait up [on the Lord]. Now, watch out! Heart concentrated, soul concentrated, body concentrated, all thoughts towards God, ready to take off! They that wait upon the Lord. That is the Lord. You know why? The Eagle is coming here. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. It will come back stronger. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40: 31). You have a new start. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. This is a good waiting period [1987, the signing of the peace treaty]. Now, this is a new start in your body. He will do this for you. Let’s let the Lord renew us with His energy, renew us with His strength, and supercharge our bodies for the year ahead. And we will not have many more [years] to do this. I tell you, He is getting closer, closer; you can feel His breath upon us. We are getting warmer and warmer until the Holy Ghost is just all over us. Oh, and He breathed upon them and the Holy Ghost was everywhere by His great power—supercharged.

I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I have nowhere else to go [but on my knees]. Nobody can help me, but God. Listen to this: Abraham Lincoln. I have nowhere else to go! How can any man look into the heavens and see all the great firmaments and all the great beauties of the heavens and say there is no God? Abraham Lincoln said that. He could not understand that at all in his thinking. How great the Living God is! All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenants and His testimonies (Psalm 25: 10). How great to have the experience to find that out in the many years that he [David] had as a shepherd boy!

Christ, the Lord Jesus is not valued unless He be valued above all [St. Augustine]. You can’t get by with it. You can’t put Him [as] number two, saith the Lord or number three. He is number ONE. And One sat. You put Him above all things, above all angels. Isaiah 9: 6 would tell you the true story. That’s where all of my faith comes from, all of the power that rests upon me that can cause satan to throw fits and run, and never stop. All of that power that causes people to make those decisions; I am not making them, God is on everything. All that anointing—because I have based it—He is above all in my heart and I am not off doctrinally. I am perfectly in line with the scriptures. The order—Jesus Christ first—it is hidden. Now, that order—it is hidden from the foolish. It is hidden and He was hidden from the Jews who would not believe. But it is revealed–by faith and power tying these scriptures together and the Holy Spirit confirming that it was strong faith–to the elect of God. They will understand in this age what God meant. It is about knowing these secrets. So, He is not valued at all unless He is valued above all. He shall call upon me and I will answer him. I have seen the Lord do that many times. If people would only know that He is just waiting to do something for them in such a way that He is answering you all the time. Sometimes, people get to where they begin to doubt, and it turns away, but He is there. He is moving right along to do it. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. See; in that furnace. I will deliver him and then I will honor him for believing. How many of you believe that? That’s exactly right.

Listen to this right here: The simple heart that freely asks in love obtains. Whittier wrote that one right there. How great God is! That love works with faith. Now, cast your burden—that’s your mental burden, your upset burden, your burden for your children, your burden for your father, your mother, your burden for your relatives, your burden for your friends, burden for your husband and burden for your wife. Cast your burden, see, cast your mental load or your physical load, saith the Lord, upon me. He can carry this entire planet plus the universe. Glory to God! What a super, super God that we’ve got in the Lord Jesus! Cast thy burden upon the Lord. He shall sustain thee. He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. There is faith behind this verse in the bible. Great and powerful faith there!

Now, certain thoughts are prayers, even your thoughts when you are praying on in praise. Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees [Victor Hugo]. Boy, he got it down! Paul said I die daily; you might have a sword on you, a chain, have you surrounded in every direction. Whatever might take place, certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees—such training of the faith. Boy, Paul was like that in his writings. He prayed without ceasing. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4: 9). Listen to this here: All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen [Ralph Waldo Emerson]. In other words, all that he had seen about God’s great creation, all that he had seen about God creating man, and all the heavens and the earth and the animals; everything that he had seen taught him to trust God for the unseen and to receive it. How many of you believe that? Amen. Heaven in all reality—you trust Him and [then] miracles. I put that at the end of that. He that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24: 15). Not the one that starts off, blows the trumpet and then run off. It’s the one that jumps up and stays right on with the Lord, and endures right on to the end like a good soldier. He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved. It’s His promise, but you have to stay with the Word, though, see? Then you are His disciple.

This general or soldier–the last seven years he was in exile was in pure agony. He might not have been this way all of his life because he was a war man and almost conquered the world. He said this: Conquerors like Alexander, Caesars and myself would long be forgotten, but somehow, they would never forget Jesus [Napoleon Bonaparte]. That was something that caused him to think…they claimed, the last few years of his life, but not before. He was a warlord, kind of like, he suffered much himself. Listen to this right here: we don’t know how true every statement is, but all of them cannot be wrong because he said many of them at the end of his life. Nobody knew his heart the last seven years he was exiled. It requires more courage to suffer than to die [Napoleon Bonaparte said]. He locked up the pope. They called him antichrist. He did a lot of things that people couldn’t, see? The flower of the youth in Europe faded; during the great war with Russia and the rest of the world. But at the end of those tragedies that came upon him, when he got old, he could see that he would be forgotten, but then he said they wouldn’t forget the Lord Jesus Christ. That would be in history forever. That’s supposedly what he said. I cannot back that up. No one knows; I don’t know if he really went to heaven, but he had these thoughts come to him. God gave him one last chance. We don’t know what his last thoughts were with God. We do not know the full story, just some quotes that they found in his book.

Though the outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day by God (2 Corinthians 4: 16). How many of you believe that? The truest life is to know the life that never ends. Life never ends; it just begins for those that love Jesus. How true that is! Love Jesus; He is the Giver of all life! How many of you believe that? Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 3: 5-7). Man’s ultimate destiny depends not on whether he can learn new lessons or make new discoveries and conquests, but only on his acceptance of the lesson taught him close upon 2000 years ago. But listen to this: Not discoveries, not new ways, not new things that they are doing, not new conquests, but on the his [man’s] acceptance of the lessons taught him close upon 2000 years ago by Jesus [The inscription at the eastern entrance of Rockefeller Center in New York City]. Somebody put it there. But do they all follow this today? Are they all doing this? What was spoken 2000 years ago is what man needs today. Do they ever follow it?

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us (Titus 3: 5). Now, let’s lift up Jesus. If you lift up Jesus now, He says this: He that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of God (Revelation 3: 12). He will make you a rock. You lift Him up, you can hold up the pillar of God as a strong rock. Amen. It is not the dying for faith that is so hard to do, it is the living up to it that is difficult [W. L. Zackary]. That makes good sense, doesn’t it? The man that lives by that faith, that’s a hard job to do. But it is easily done in the Lord Jesus. How many of you praise the Lord? He giveth power to the faint [but you must accept it] and to them that have no might, he increaseth strength. Oh, how great! Accept it. Act upon it. The Lord gets His best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction [Charles Spurgeon]. Prophets and great miracle workers come forth through great trials. We’ve got laymen—the elect will come out of great affliction and persecution. He gets His best soldiers that way, Amen. How many of you believe that? Be not defeated, go forward in complete confidence. The Lord is my light. He is my salvation, whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid (Psalm 27: 1). It’s exactly right.

The cost: salvation is free for you because someone else paid the price and what a price that was paid! Listen to this: The price–the cost; Jesus put up all of heaven’s wealth and by faith He won over and over again. He put all of heaven. He put everything in the universe upon it and He paid the price to put it out there and said, “satan, come on and try to defeat it! Here I am, you can have it, come on now! Come now! I will come as a man. I will defeat you with the simple gifts of God. I will not call on the Almighty, but I will defeat you with these great gifts of my own Almighty power. Come on, satan.” He [satan] came down in the wilderness and whirlwind. He [Jesus Christ] said the Word has defeated you, period! How great He is! “I put everything up there. You try to destroy, and I’ll make my people alive. I am God. I would do it!” Satan tried in every angle and every way he could. Right away, he tried to push Him off the mountain. Right away, he tried to send people to kill Him. In every direction, he [satan] tried to do it, but it wasn’t His time. He put it all up; salvation is free, but the price was paid by the King of heaven…. By faith, He won fair and square! Satan used every dirty trick in the book. All Jesus used was grace, love and faith. He got him!

At the cross, He gave all of it up and then He returned because of His faith and confidence in the Word that He had spoken to them. He came right back out there in light, alive! The Eternal God cannot be destroyed. You can take away the body, but the Eternal One came to do battle with the very one that confronted Him at the throne. “I will see you later. You would move like lightning because you’ve got a lot to do, then I’ll come, and we’ll come together. We’ll see who wins this thing.” Fair and square, He won it for all of us today. But we’ve got to believe in what He said and what He’s done when He put it all up upon the line with satan, see? Even though old satan tried to offer Him this world–which is nothing to Him–in all of that, the God who supersedes all of time and space stood there with Him. We are winners! A champion of faith is the elect of God! That’s exactly right! All of you tonight, everybody in here tonight, you are winners. Forever, He defeated satan. He won’t have to come back and do it again on the cross. He doesn’t have to do those words again that He spoke in the bible. He’s done them. It was a good job! He defeated satan fair and square. Satan used every crooked trick in the book and even has a trumped-up charge and called Him a criminal—the trial was all criminal. How many of you know it? He had not done one thing wrong, but good. And yet, satan could not defeat Him with all the government on this earth. All the Pharisees and the Sadducees and all the councils of state together couldn’t do it. He is the winner for mankind! He is coming again for those that believe Him tonight.

All of you that hear this, He will comfort your hearts through this anointing in here. It can’t help but make you jump up and down. It can’t help but make you feel light in all the pains that you had when this sermon started. They should disappear like that, and your sickness. Believe in God and His blessings. He is the CHAMPION. Today, many Christians are talking defeat when we are in the greatest forerun and the greatest confidence and power of faith of all time. Satan will not win, saith the Lord because a few people or maybe, possibly many of those open up and say this or that. Look what the Lord Jesus had to listen to, but He went right straight up! It didn’t make Him any different at all. He knew what He had to do, and He believed in the Word that was spoken and took place here. So, those that are looking for excuses and they are looking for failures and all that, they are satanic. That’s all to it; that is built on sand, it is not built on the Rock that Jesus spoke about and He is that Great Rock.

“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passions by many infallible proofs….” (Acts 1: 3). Infallible proofs—meaning there was no way to disprove them in our age or any other age what He showed them and what He did by His power. How wonderful it is! There is no telling what He will do for those who believe this message and continue in the power of the Lord, and continue in strong powerful faith. No matter about the furnace, He will be with you. No matter what it is, He is there. Continue in the power of this Word toward the end of the age. He that endures—and it will take great faith in the Word of God to carry on through there. If you continue in this [the Word of God], there is no telling what He is going to do for His people. Oh, you can’t even think how powerful that [when] He begins to get us ready for the translation. –faith and power to create and the power to do these wonderful miracles from Him.

I want you to stand to your feet. You say, “The power to create, the power to translate? Oh, He said the works that I did shall you do and even greater works than these. He was translated. He went up in front of them there. Amen. He created, raised the dead and did all kinds of miracles of healing. And the works that I did shall ye do, He said. Oh, I am with you always. Sure! You say, “Translative faith?” Sure. He went up. They saw Him leave in Acts [chapter 1]. They saw Him go away. This same Jesus will come back the same way. See that? The works I did shall you do. How great! He is coming at the end of the age. My, it took some time to preach that message, but I tell you what? It is worth it all. The visitation of the Lord is upon His people to encourage them to go onward, to lift themselves up in faith and to believe with all their hearts. How many of believe now with all your hearts? Amen. Come on down. I am going to pray a mass prayer. Come on! If you need Jesus, give your heart to Jesus. He will accept you right down here now! He is great! Can you feel Him now?
