In this correspondence — “let us write concerning prophetic events and also to be prepared for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus! Christ warned to be ye also ready; for it would occur suddenly when least expected!” — “Also hearts will fail for fear because of inside forebodings of the awesome events they realize are coming and they are helpless to turn the tide!” “When much of this heart trouble was to come it also said the powers of the heavens would be shaken. (Luke 21:26) We know after the atomic bomb that men’s hearts begin to fail in great numbers! “Here is wisdom, Jesus said, take heed: that the cares of this life cause that day to come unawares! — It means people will be so embroiled in the things of this life that they will be blind to His close coming! — For it shall take them as a snare! (Luke 21:34-35 Mark 13:35-37) Jesus said, watch at all hours. — Spiritually speaking and you would not be unawares!” — “One reason He says to watch is that no one knows the exact hour, but we will know the season! (I Thess. 5:1-4) — “it reveals to be alert and watch that you may open to the Lord immediately when He cometh and knocketh!” (Luke 12:35-36) “This depicts a quick short revival also!”
Jesus said, remember Lot’s wife! — “Do not look back on worldly positions and things of this nature! — Do not allow any relatives to cause you to look back! — But look forward without turning! — The key words are, pray, be ready, watching and acting! — We see signs of His second coming all around us. For instance, the signs of the days of Noah! — We will see a great increase in all of the kind of events that transpired then and again in the later 80’s!” — The prophetic sign of the days of Lot! — “Later in the 80’s there will be another burst of commercial building and prosperity, but it won’t last too long until trouble will come internationally again! (Luke 17:26-29)
Sign of the budding of the fig tree – This prophetically announced the Jews would return again to the Holy Land! (1948) — “Also according to the Scriptures, it says, all the rest from that point forward would be fulfilled in one generation! This generation shall NOT pass till all of these things be fulfilled!” (Matt. 24:33-35) — “Now the Bible looks at a generation from different viewpoints. And even by using two different views the generation should begin to run out for the church within a few years or by 1988-1995 — So we know at that time, it should be the ending of Daniel’s 70th week, or the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week somewhere in this time zone period!”— (Dan. 9:27) — “If we are to understand this is what Jesus meant, and we feel this is what he alluded to, that it would be fulfilled in this last generation!” — “The key to this is to know just about how long a Biblical generation is! — Besides that there is to be an interruption of time! — Remember also in calculating this time, the church also leaves before any seasonal time or seasonal date! — As Jesus said, be ye also ready, for in an hour that ye think not He will appear!” — “Only God knows exact day or hour!”
The sign of world evangelism — Matt. 24:14 says, “when this gospel is preached to all the world!” “And according to reports they will be able to do this by radio and TV satellite. And it also says it will be possible to fulfill this by the 80’s or early 90 ‘s! — “Behold, surely the Lord cometh soon and cometh quickly!” — Let us do all the work we can and be prepared!
The prophecy concerning the signs in the sun and in the moon and the distress of nations with perplexity! (Luke 21:25) “We will be witnessing eclipses, conjunctions and planetary lineups in the years ahead forewarning of ominous events in the nation! . . . “By the prophetic gift I foresee tremendous problems for France, Italy and England, leading to overthrows, economic and social changes! — Plus one or two of these nations may be involved in war! But one thing for certain, terrible commotions are coming to shake the earth! — As you remember we already predicted the problems in Europe concerning Poland; but we will also see these other events take place in West Europe!” — “More of our predictions concerning the Middle East will also come to pass! — Plus later in the 80’s Russia will be stirring around again causing trouble both in the Middle East and East and West Europe! — Also with the appearance of Halley’s Comet 1986-87 will evidently signal unrest all over the world, with the proceeding of outbreak of war in different nations! — And in some places war even earlier than this! . . . Remember the Scriptures say, one shall be taken and the other left! (Luke 17:33-36) So in such an hour as this, the elect surely wants to be prepared; and watchful in prayer!”
Many years ago in the scrolls and letters we predicted events that people are just beginning to talk about today!” — A director of a study institute was asked this question: Will the problems we encounter in the next 5 or 10 years be the same, or different than those we have today? – And he answered, quote: ”For the most part, they will be familiar problems. Among the possibilities I foresee: continued – perhaps wild – inflation, prolonged uncertainty in energy supply, a rash of terrorism, unclear saber rattling, a rash of assassinations, an intense confrontation between Russia and China, a collapse of the Euro-dollar markets! — It is true that most of them would come about as a result of accidents in judgments or just bad luck, but that doesn’t make them any less serious! If we get more than three such shocks simultaneously, then I think we have the makings of worldwide chaos “end of quote! — “Yes, the problems will be similar but they will be far more intense and dramatic as the increasing of a wide range of new problems will appear in the later 80’s! — We are definitely entering the age of perilous times and the beginning of sorrow! — Also there will be new wars in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America before the ending of the 80’s!”
My opinion is it could happen sooner, but I don’t see how the 90’s can escape the battle of Armageddon! — Also it could occur sooner, but it is my opinion that the four horses of the Apocalypse will ride across the earth fulfilling all of the prophecy in Rev, chap. 6, and by then the pale electronic horse of death will appear, and when the phantom rider (beast) of the bottomless pit rides, millions will die! (Rev. 6:8) — Then the days of afflictions will be worse than any seen since the days of creation! — The intensity so great that time must be shortened! (Matt. 24:22)
Parables of the second coming — “man on a far journey (Jesus) reveals servants are to watch for the Lord’s return at all seasons lest He catch them off guard! (Mark 13:34-37) —At the end it reveals two type servants; the faithful and the unfaithful. — One blessed; the other cut asunder at the Lord’s appearance! (Matt. 24:45-51) — “This parable teaches to be a good steward in the Lord’s harvest!”
The budding of the fig tree parable — Means after Israel returned to their home land (1948) then the rest of the signs would be fulfilled shortly showing His coming is nigh! (Matt.24:32-42)
The ten virgins parable — “reveals only those ready that are full of the word and anointing will enter with the bridegroom into the marriage! (Matt. 25:1-13) — Joel 2:16 “reveals the bridegroom go forth of his chamber and the bride out of her closet! Verse 11 and the Lord shall utter His voice before His army; for His camp is very great! For he executeth His word — For the day of the Lord is terrible, who can abide?”
The parable of the pounds — “reveals the faithful at Christ’s coming rewarded; unfaithful judged!” (Luke 19:11-27) — “Again it symbolizes good stewardship using our spirituality and resources at the opportune time!”
The talent parable — “Essentially means the same as the other parable only different slightly! — Surely the Lord Jesus cometh quickly, and we want to be doing our utmost and best at that moment!”
The middle east and prophetic events — “Evidently according to the Scriptures, oil, silver and gold will play a major role (although other things will be involved too) in causing the anti-christ to rise and to promote his ideas. (Dan. 11:38) — Occurrences in the Middle East are developing to bring forth the anti-christ on the scene in not too many years hence!”
In conclusion here is a repeat from a former letter — “Besides the Jews returning to their homeland after 2,000 years, the Bible gives other signs that would occur in conjunction with this! — Nation shall rise against nation. (Matt. 24:7) Earthquakes, famines and pestilences! — Knowledge shall be increased. (Dan. 12:4) Evil men shall wax worse and worse!” (II Tim. 3:13) — “And if we really want to know how close the coming of the Lord is, just before He returned we were to see this Scripture fulfilling!”— The falling away from the very faith! (I Tim. 4:1-2) — And have you noticed all around you, seemingly for no reason at all people are just giving up their faith. But God is gathering new ones each day for the true elect!” — “And others the Scriptures say, would not endure sound doctrine at all!” (II Tim. 4:2-4) — “The Bible says people would have a form of godliness, but deny the true power!” Also scoffers who don’t care to hear of the second coming of Jesus! (II Peter 3:3-4, 10) . . . And with this, signs in the sun, moon, stars; distress of nations: men’s hearts failing them for fear! (Luke 21:25-27) And we could go on and on, proving by prophetic events that the age is closing swiftly!”
