GOD’S ULTIMATE INSURANCE-PSALMS 91
The days are coming according to prophets Joel (Joel 3:32) and Obadiah (Obadiah 1:17) when there shall be deliverance in Zion and in Jerusalem. This is deliverance from wicked hands and destructive elements that has plagued the people of Israel. God promised help and protection for his people in Jerusalem and on mount Zion, the mountain of God. Today protection and deliverance has a wider scope and for all true believers. This is found in the secret place of the Most High God, the mountain of God.
Look at the world today and you will see that pollution has engulfed it. There is danger rising on every hand. The air, harbors death particles like viruses both natural and man manipulated. Some of these dangerous inventions were seen in advance by the Lord. According to Micah 2:1, “Woe to them that devise iniquity and work evil upon their beds; When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.” These are wicked men as written in 2nd Thess.3:2, “And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” Here Paul wrote about men who were against the gospel, but now we see wicked men at work against humanity. These wicked minds prepare death in the form of viruses stored in laboratories and let them out against mankind. Intentional or unintentional the air is polluted and blankets people with weapons of mass destruction. But there shall be deliverance today as in Zion; this time deliverance shall be found in the secret place of the Most High.
Psalms 91 is a guarantee that God gave to every believer. A full study of this chapter will give you an understanding of what protective plan, God already laid down for those who believe, trust and hope in him. God cannot force you to take advantage of the heavenly backed insurance policy. There are all kinds of fake insurance policies out there by demonic agencies and gods that cannot talk or protect anyone. Study Psalms 115:4-8 and you will find that, “Their idols are silver and gold, the works of men’s hands. They have mouth, but speak not: eyes have they but see not: They have ears, but hear not: noses have they but smell not: They have hands, but handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them: so is everyone that trusteth in them.” These are sources of insurance to some people but for others it is metaphysics, psychics, voodoo gods, gods of science and technology and several religious and powerless demonic gods.
But we believers trust in the Lord our living God. In Number 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it, or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good.” Also in Matt. 24:35, Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” With this background we shall now turn to the promises of God as recorded in Psalms 91, which reads, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Stay in the word of God, meditate on it and be enveloped with praising him and be occupied with his affairs and you will be under the shadow of the Almighty). I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust, ( when God is your refuge and fortress, who can invade you, who can terrify you, you run into the Lord as your place of protection and your military city. God cannot sleep but wicked men slumber, and God watches over us). Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence, (there are a lot of snares of the devil and man. The devil with the cooperation of men is putting out snares out there, like the various disease organisms; by some scientists and military shut guns or experimental killers. But God promised he will deliver us. Pestilence is in the air, land and sea and most are man made by the anointing of the devil); but Jesus Christ said, I will never leave you nor forsake you and will deliver you. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust (they that trust in the Lord shall never be put to shame) his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night (armed gangs, inventor of weapons of death by night and spiritual wickedness); nor for the arrow that arrow that flieth by day. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness (the night is dark and many dark minds operate at night under the influence of demons of destruction, blood suckers who love death; many of them imagine evil on their beds and wake up to translate them into reality, but God promised to deliver those who trust in him); nor for the destruction that that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee.”
God’s insurance policy is the highest and the best one for the protection of all believers. The world is morally bankrupt at this time. The stock market is projecting how to make quick money during this period of the Coronavirus; which vaccine will bring the cure and make money for the manufacturers. Different countries, are keeping dangerous biological agents that can be used for weapons of mass destruction: such as anthrax, small pox, corona virus and much more. I was told years ago that small pox had been eradicated, but now I read that some nations have them stored away for use as biological weapons of war. Can anyone blame God for the level of wickedness in man? But thanks be to God that earth is not our eternal home. Besides God promised that if we dwell in his secret place of the most High we shall dwell under the shadow of the Almighty. We should always seek to believe and study the word of God and worship him with all our heart, soul, spirit with praises (remember that the Lord inhabits the praises of his people ‘Psalms 22:3’). God dwells in you and around you. He that is in you (Jesus Christ) is greater than he that is in the world (satan and all workers of darkness and wickedness). As you worship the Lord, he will deliver you from the snares of the fowler, noisome pestilence; all the Lord needs is your trust in his word. He shall cover you with his feathers even if you cannot see them, but your trust is under his wings as your shield and buckler. Darkness will not frighten you; terror will not make you afraid nor the arrow that flighteth by noonday.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil (viruses, smallpox, anthrax, nerve gases, bombs, terrorists, wicked hands) befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. He shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways, (angels are sent by God to watch over us the true believers, every step of the way that we go). Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Now the signature of this insurance policy, the authority and power of this policy is the name of the issuer of it. The name is important for you to claim this coverage. Do you know the name of the issuer of the policy you claim to hold?
He who gave the promise paid a price to for his authority to cover us on the policy. In Hebrews 2:14-18 it is written, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil: And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels: but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people; for in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.” Also Hebrews 4:15 states, “ For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all point tempted like we are, yet without sin.” The Lord wrote our insurance policy to cover us completely because He took the form of man and endured the contradictions of sinners and the devil and knew what was needed to give us a comprehensive coverage. For your policy to be in force you must abide in Him, John15:4-10; and you must maintain daily contact with God, as you get refilled daily with the Holy Ghost; and in John 14:14 Jesus said, “If ye shall ask anything in my name I will do it.” This is part of your insurance policy with the Lord.
In Psalms 23:1-6 is another part of the believers insurance policy, and verse 4 it states, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (there is death everywhere and in all types, demons, cults, wicked man who deviseth mischief upon his bed Psalms 36:4, war, accidents etc), I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” If you abide in Him, then remember that He said I will never leave you nor forsake you; that is part of the insurance policy for an abiding believer. Jesus said, “Fear not only believe.” In Job 5:12, “He (God) disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprises (wickedness and destruction).” Proverb 25:19 states, “Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.” Satan who is the instigator of all evil against the believer is like a broken tooth and a foot out of joint. He is unfaithful and only comes to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10 but Jesus said, “I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Finally as you abide in the Lord and establish daily contact with Him, you can confidently apply your Jesus Christ Insurance policy anytime. Besides He gave us extra insurance coverage to use when necessary without using your main policy of Psalms 91 and 23. These extras include, 2nd Corinthians 10:4-6 which states, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds: Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ: And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” This is power given to us and if you need more insurance then your main policy will come into play. Read, Psalms 103 and Isaiah 53.
Let us not forget another extra insurance which many of us do not use; as in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” God’s insurance coverage for the believer is the comprehensive type with extras. Abide in the Lord Jesus Christ and the insurance policy is yours. If you are not saved, come to the Cross of Calvary on your knees and confess to God, that you are a sinner and ask for His forgiveness. Accept His Virgin birth, His death, Resurrection and Ascension and His promise to return. Ask Him to wash your sins with His blood and come and be the Lord of your life. Go to a small bible believing church and start reading your Bible from the book of John. Get baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, and seek God for the Holy Ghost baptism and witness about Jesus Christ and begin to claim the insurance policy. Ask for the WISDOM of God in these last days and learn to ABIDE.
