THE SIGNS OF THE TIME

“We are living in times that the prophets and the kings desired to see! What an age! The signs of the time and the miraculous are all around us! The unfolding of these events reveal to us that time is very short indeed! In fact occurrences that we see coming our way now in our age will merge into the apocalyptic events of Revelation! – In other words, it is my opinion that there will not be another generation to bridge the gap, but the Lord will be coming in our generation and we are already far into it!” – And Jesus said, “Look up for thy redemption draweth nigh and yea, is even at the door; For ye see perfectly well the armies of the world are compassed around the Holy Land, the place of Abraham’s promise!” (Luke 21:20, 32) “We noticed the buildup on the Arab’s side and on the Communist’s part; they are absolutely surrounding Israel in military power. A definite sign!”

“The Scriptures give certain signs that would take place just before the coming of the Lord. And we will take note of a few of them! – It revealed that there would be a population explosion. – Jesus said, ‘As in the days of Noah!’ (Gen. 6) – Although the Bible did not give dates, it said famine and starvation would take place in parts of the earth, finally leading to a world-wide food shortage and famine during the Tribulation!” (Rev 11:6 – Rev. 6:5-8) – “And by prophetic vision the Lord allowed me to tell the people a seasonal time that this would begin to start and we are already seeing signs of it over the world!” – “The Bible predicted the exact moral conditions that the world is in today! – And the conditions in our streets and city life are shocking as prophecy described it! – It foretold of the anarchy and crises of crime, and the lawlessness that would lead to the anti-Christ system!” – “It also revealed what the gradual development of inflation would lead to!” (Rev. chap. 6 – Rev. 13:13-18) – “The Bible foretold of men exploring the heavens! (Obad. 1:4 – Amos 9:2) – It mentions ‘nest’ orbital platforms!. .

. Also it leads us to believe that they would have children in space!” – “The Bible describes destructive inventions that travel underneath the sea (submarines, etc., verse 3). – Verse 11 speaks of raising up a tabernacle again although this one could be speaking of the millennium. . . .But Rev. 11:1-2 definitely describes a Jewish Temple will be built as our age closes out!” (II Thess. 2:4) – “The Bible describes the rising and the future of Communism! – The feet of a bear, Rev. 13:1, the clay in the image, Dan. 2:42. It depicts its final end!” (Ezek. 38:22 – Ezek. 39:2) – “It prophesies the rise of China into importance and also its gigantic downfall! (Rev. 16:12-15) – In fact this takes in all the kings of the Orient and Japan in its final hour!”

“Prophecy foretold of the pestilence conditions, the pollution and poisons on every side! Many Scriptures spoke about the coming of chemical warfare. But beyond this threat is the most fearful of all, the Bible predicted, the Atomic! . . . The nuclear menace is the most fearful of all because man now possess the means of destroying the entire population of the earth!” (Matt. 24:21) – In verse 22 Jesus said, “unless He intervened there would be no flesh saved at all!” – I just finished a message here entitled, “The Atomic Chill.” – “This will be continued along with other subjects on a Scroll #124; don’t miss it!”

“Here are some Scriptures that Jesus said would be fulfilled in our generation! – “That He would come as a thief in the night! (I Thess. 5:2) – And that His coming would be suddenly . . . as a flash of lightning, then in a moment in the twinkling of an eye!” (I Cor. 15:52) – “And after the Translation and the changing of our bodies, He will return again at Armageddon!” – (Isa. 66:15-16) “For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.”

And now I would like to insert this past writing: “The Scriptures reveal the Lord has appointed a day, even before the foundation of the world He would know the exact date of the Translation and the Great Tribulation! – And now during harvest time He is revealing the season of His soon return!” – Isa. 46:10 projects this: “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure!” – “Behold saith the Lord, the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” (I Peter 4:7) – “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light!” (Rom. 13:12) – Jesus says, “It is near, even at the doors. – Yea, now it is high time to awake for our reward is nearer than when we first believed!” – “He is anointing us like never before, and I am sharing this flaming presence with you to strongly increase your faith in Him and in His promises for preparation!” – “For the Lord thy God: doth go with thee, He shall not fail thee nor forsake thee! (Deut. 31:6) The work He has begun in you, He will perform it. (Phil. 1:6) – Also in all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ!” (Eph. 1:3)

This one thing we do know indeed . . . time is passing swiftly, let us do all that we can in the harvest work! – After the Holy Spirit gives a message like this, one can’t help but to feel that everybody must do his best to help in the Lord’s work!”
