THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AND JOURNEY IS PERSONAL AND THE CHOICE IS YOURS

  1. The Christian life and journey is a choice you have to make. This choice involves a relationship. The first step is to make a decision, to be in it or not.
  2. The relationship is between you as an individual who needs help and God the author and solution to all your problems and needs.
  3. The relationship is between you on earth and God in heaven.
  4. You must realize and recognize that God was the one who came in person to visit and dwell on the earth , to go through what man faces on the earth, ( Isaiah 9:6; Luke 1:31; 2:11; John 1:1,14).
  5. You need his relationship because you are a sinner, and cannot help yourself. He was tempted as you and I but did not sin, (Heb. 4:15). And His name is Jesus the Christ.
  6. He died and gave his life as a sacrifice for our sins. Only his blood can wash away sin, (Rev. 1:5, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,” ).
  7. Your salvation is based on the shedding of his blood on the Cross of Calvary.
  8. No one can believe for you, you cannot be saved on someone’s behalf; because salvation is the beginning of a relationship and you are married to Christ who died for you.
  9. Your sins are washed away by his blood, but you must believe with your heart and confess with your mouth (Rom. 10:9) to him personally for your sins; there is no middle man in this relationship. He shed his blood for you and it is personal, that begins the relationship.
  10. Who has the power to forgive your sins and wipe it all off your record? Only Jesus Christ has such power. Not only to forgive sin, He heals you too and gives you his Holy Spirit

if you ask, (Luke 11:13).

  1. In whose name were you baptized? Remember what baptism means, dying with him and resurrection from the dead with him. Only Jesus died and rose again to confirm that He is the Resurrection and the Life, (John 11:25). Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or are you looking up to man whose breath is in his nostrils?
  2. Who can baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire, in any relationship outside of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can do that when you are in a relationship with him; it has to be a faithful relationship on your part because He is ever faithful. He gave his life a guarantee for you to trust him. Who else can do such a thing?
  3. By his stripes you were healed. He already paid on your behalf before you came into the relationship; all you have to do is believe.
  4. In this personal relationship you must pick up your cross and follow Him. No one can pick up your cross for you and no one can follow Jesus Christ on your behalf. God does not have grandchildren. Nobody is your Father and true friend but he to whom you owe you soul and life and relationship, the Lord Jesus Christ.
  5. Do not be deceived, nobody, no matter how spiritual, can not be a mediator between you and God in this relationship.
  6. If you deny or forsake this relationship, you will go to hell alone, and it will be lonely and miserable in the lake of fire later; because there is no relationship there. The Relationship that I am talking about is based on and in the Truth; and Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. This kind of relationship is only found in Jesus Christ.
  7. Hell and the lake of fire can be considered an asylum, for those who rejected this relationship or were not faithful in the relationship. Soon it will be too late to foster this beautiful relationship with Jesus Christ. But the choice is yours, and the time is now.
  8. Jesus Christ soon will be back to pick up those with a faithful relationship with Him. It only takes repentance and being converted from your evil and selfish ways; and turn to God through the saving grace , mercy and love of God in Jesus Christ through faith.
  9. Do not be deceived, we must all answer before God what we have done without time and God given opportunity on earth, (Rom. 14:12).
  10. Be not deceived for God is not mocked, whatever a man sows that he shall reap, (Gal. 6:7).
  11. This is a time to mend our ways and our relationship with God. Examine this scripture and how it fits in with your relationship with Jesus; 1st John 4:20, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
  12. There is nothing secret that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hidden, that shall not be known and come abroad, (Luke 8:18).
  13. There is no magical process needed to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ. He made it simple as in John 3:3, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This will bring you to a place where you understand and accept that the Bible is true when it talks about who Jesus is and your need for Him as your Savior and Lord.
  14. This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent, (John 6:29).
  15. In this relationship, faithfulness, loyalty and obedience are of utmost importance. In John 10: 27-28, Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (you must have a good relationship to follow Him): And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” That is a relationship we must be faithful to.
  16. Luke 8:18, “Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.” Seemeth to have is something one needs to check well using; 2nth Cor. 13:5, “ Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates.” You are responsible for your relationship with God in Christ Jesus. Live and work by the word, and not by man’s dogmas and manipulation. Beware of social media, witchcraft is in the churches now. Jesus Christ said, then shall they fast, when the bridegroom is taken from them.
