PERILOUS TIMES – SHOCKING EVENTS

“My subject in this special writing is a serious and vital one, due to the perilous times we are living in, and the Lord has told me to bring this out. The Bible commands us to preach the real truth concerning sin! And in this very hour we are witnessing the human race disintegrating in an abyss of evil! And what I am about to write is occurring and will occur in the near future! May this awaken all to pray for their family and children!” “The Lord Jesus is about to give His elect a revival, we can tell by the shocking events transpiring in the nation! Now just before Israel was to receive a great outpouring revival at the coming of Samuel the prophet, we see that satan actually ‘went wild in the people’ just before the prophet’s visitation!” – I Sam. 3:1, “The word of the Lord was precious in those days, there was no open vision and the house of God was in darkness! It was at the time that every man did what was right in his own eyes; there was no king or prophet in those days! As a rule when sin reaches its worst, God sends a prophet and also judgment!” Verse 11, “the Lord told Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of everyone that heareth it will tingle! Because Israel was steeped in idolatry and backslidden, and the Lord’s vindictive power was about to strike at the sending of His messenger to Israel!”

“Concerning these events we are about to write, Jesus forewarned that they would occur in our day when mentioning about Sodom and the days of Noah! The population will be ‘completely possessed with the pleasures of the world’ and doing unbelievable things!” When a nation is given over to idolatry, God gives them up, and satan knew that God was sending a great outpouring so here is what he did just before that age ended! I Sam. 2:12, “Now the sons of Eli were ‘sons of Belial’ (wicked and depraved persons), they knew not the Lord!” Verse 22, “Now Eli was very old and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel, and how ‘they lay with the women’ that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation! Verse 23, And he said unto them, why do ye such things? For I hear of your evil dealings by all this people! (The Bible marginal reads they assembled by troops.) They had turned the house of God into a ‘house of prostitution’ at Shiloh and took the sacrifices of the Lord for themselves!” Verses 14-16, Eli’s two sons Hophni and Phinehas were two reprobate priests committing flagrant acts, unbridled indulgence of voracious and brutal lust.” “God gave them up and over! Lewd women lay at the tabernacle door and were marked with the most abominable licentiousness! The women were violated by these vicious and scandalous men in bold profane rituals!” “It was absolutely corrupting the house of God into orgies of abomination and whoredoms!” – “These acts go back to the days of Nimrod and the Cain practices!” Those had forms of vulgar sinful idolatry mixed with fornication!” – “And in our age these same things will occur and all the past acts will appear again and wind up in ‘mystery Babylon’ the great whore of Rev. 17:1-5!” These deplorable conditions will be spiritually and physically in her vast systems! Also Rev. 18:1-3 – “These same things we listed will occur in our day – in fact we have some news clippings to bear this out – news heading titled, “church offers nudes, X-films!” “In Pasadena a bar owner, whose liquor and entertainment licenses were revoked because of the nude dancers he employed, has reopened his establishment as a “church.” Authorities indicate the operation is legal and they are not sure what they will do about the high life social club church! The congregation still gets to watch the nude dancers, stag films and drink beer!” – “Another news clipping reports that young coeds and college students are unclothing themselves and running bare in the streets and schools. Of course all of you have read about this in the news! – “Another news clipping reports a father of two young teen-aged daughters (age 14 and 17) murdered a man, and it was brought to light also during the trial that their father began having sexual relations with them about two years ago. The younger daughter said the acts occurred 3 to 4 times a week, and she was actually 12 years old when the incestuous acts began. Also in the Old Testament something similar to this happened because of sin. When Lot’s two young daughters became incest with him! (Gen. 19:35-36 – read II Sam. 13:1,2, 11-15, 32, rape, incest led to murder!) So are all these things occurring in our day again, because God is about to give His ‘elect’ a great ‘outpouring’ and satan knows this! – “We have had the Moses type revival and now God is going to give us Joshua’s sweeping type uniting revival, a quick, short work to His elect!”

We must make mention that God did judge the two sons of Eli and Israel. (I Sam. 4:17 -18) – “In verse 21 God put His seal of disapproval on the whole affair and named it ‘Ichabod’ which meant the glory of God had departed from Israel because of their sins!” And in I Sam. 2:35, “the Lord reveals that he would raise up a faithful prophet named Samuel and would build a sure house! God said, Mine anointed!” “Amen, He will stand with us today also, no matter how wicked the world gets!”
