The heavens will soon light up with God’s glory made manifest in His saints. God is making definite preparation for this occasion. You are supposed to be making your own preparation to meet with our Lord Jesus Christ; all the brethren who have been sleeping in the Lord and those who are physically and spiritually alive; at the moment of this heavenly reunion are all in expectation and groaning.
I call it a reunion because of the scripture in Job 38:7 which reads, “When the morning stars sang together, and the sons of God shouted for joy.” The children of God were with God. We were in Him from the foundation of the world–if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. God had all true believers of all ages in his thought before the world began. You were in his thought before the world came into existence. We were in fellowship with him and other brethren before we came on this earth’s journey.
The time you arrived on earth, through a union between your earthly parents, was determined by God. Every male has millions of semen produced in life, and God from the originality of all things programmed which semen and which egg will come together to bring you forth; as God thought about you before you came to earth. The way you look now was how God foresaw you in his thought before the foundation of the world.
According to Psalms 139:14-18, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eye did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my substance were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thought unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake I am still with thee.” From the foundation of the world God made man and was scientific about it. The fields of biology, medicine and physiology are still finding the unknowns in the creation of man because man was wonderfully made by God.
God knew the number of hair that will be on your head and he numbered each one of them. He saw you going bald and losing of hairs, your wrinkles and other changes. He was well aware of all these before the foundation of the world. He also knows how you will change during the translation, when all believers will be changed suddenly, in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, 1st Cô-rinh-tô 15: 51-58 và 1st Thess. 4: 13-18.
2nd Corinthians 5:1-5 is a scripture every true believer must take time to know. It will show you what God has in store for you. The scripture states, “For we know that, if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. If so, be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.”
This earth has existed for around 6000 years from Adam, and so many people are waiting to know where they stand with God. Remember Luke 16:19-31, about the poor beggar Lazarus and the rich man who faired sumptuously and died and went to hell; unlike Lazarus who at death angels came to carry him to paradise. The poor beggar was called Lazarus. God identifies his children because he has known them from the foundation of the world. Those that go to hell, he knows them as their creator, so this rich man was not given a name. Remember the Lord said, I know my sheep and I call them by name, John 10:3. Jesus remembered Lazarus by name. Are you sure Jesus will know and call you by name?
We have been young and now are we old and it has not entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for us who wait on him. We are in this mortal body that is subject to many things, such as sin, sickness, crying, old age, hunger, death and subject to gravity; also, away from the presence of God. But the new body is not subject to those things that dominate the physical or earthly body. We shall put on immortality. No more death, sorrow, sickness and not subject to gravity and the elements of this present earth, because we are eternal.
Immortality is godly because when He shall appear we shall be like He is. First John 3:2-3 states, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
We are getting ready to be clothed upon with our covering from on high. We came from God, from the foundation of the world and we are getting ready to go back to God. The sons of God will gather again before the Rock from which we were hewn. According to 1st Peter 2:5-9, “ Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.——-ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” We shall be kings and priests unto God very soon, as we are changed into his likeness when the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words,” 1st Tê 4: 13-18.
