Please remember
The translation is open to every true and faithful believer. The translation is a promise of God while in the flesh on earth, in John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” God in the flesh is the Word that became flesh, as stated in John 1:1 and 14. He came in his Father’s name called Jesus Christ.
In Mark 16:15-18 Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” The Lord made every saved and true believer a witness for Himself. How many of us are burdened with some aspects of this commission? These include:
a) The blind in our midst in this world. How do they function as believers when they are saved without seeing? Some are fortunate to go and be trained in the school for the blind and can read by means of the braille. But others are not privilaged to the braille and may be illterate. Yet salvation and translation are both open to whosoever wills. How do you witness and do a follow up with them? You neither imagine nor understand the world of the blind, but we are to witness to them too. The translation is not only for those who can see. Remember the blind.
b) The dumb have their tongue tied up. How do they praise God? How do they communicate? How can they fulfill the great commission? How can they witness? How can they testify? If they are educated they could write but can not speak. God has a plan for them also to make the translation, but what part are you playing. Psalm 100:1-2, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” How easy is it for the dumb to do this? Translation is not only for those who can speak. Remember the dumb.
c) The deaf cannot hear. Yes there are hearing aids, which not many can afford. Remember that Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” By this we understand that faith cometh by hearing the word of God. He or she who is deaf, how can they hear, especially if they cannot read? This is not a science class, but a reminder that we as believers have a duty to the blind, dumb and deaf. These include:
- Do we remember these groups of people particularly in our prayers, witnessing and about the translation. Are you guilty, then it is time to make amends, repent and be faithful at your duty post. Remember them, they are expecting your help.
- It is time to cry out to the Lord, to make Mark 16:17 to 20, to be operating in our lives; so that the blind eyes can be opened to see the glories of God, the dumb tongue loosened to speak and glorify God and the deaf ear opened to hear and receive faith faster.
This is a reminder that some of the highways and hedges brethren who are unsaved at this time may have such a situation. Some are both deaf and dumb at the same time or blind and deaf or blind and dumb. We need to set them free by the power of God’s word, in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Let us remember them in our prayers, God has not denied them heaven, but we have neglected our duties or have condemned them. But God is no respecter of persons. God is looking for faith and He will act. We are commissioned to speak faith to them by the word of God. We need to repent for neglecting these possible brethren, who are waiting for the word of life, deliverance and salvation to be spoken to them. What are you doing with the great commission? Let us remember, and rise , and speak the word only, for the hour is now.
