Who is Jesus Christ? and why do you need Him? Genesis 3: 1-15 God put enmity between the serpent and the woman, and between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman, which translates to the enemity between the children of God and the children of satan. Genesis 3:16-24 The serpent at this time was in the form of a man. He was very subtle and could speak and reason. Satan entered him and deceived the woman, who in turn got Adam involved and they disobeyed the Word of God. Genesis 3:10, “I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

(Sin brings fear and nakedness before God.)

Who is Jesus Christ? and why do you need Him? Genesis 6:1-18

Matt. 24:37-39

God saw the extent of sin in the world during the days of Noah and it grieved God in his heart that He made man. God decided to destroy the then world with a flood and all men and creatures died; except Noah and his household and creatures chosen by God. Imagine the sins of the world today and what judgment awaits it. fire of course like Sodom and Gomoraha. Luke 17:26-29

Genesis 9: 8-16

The judgment in Noah’s day was by a flood of water that destroyed every living thing on earth.

In the time of Lot judgment upon Sodom and Gomoraha was by fire and brimestone. God promised Noah by a rainbow in the cloud, that He would never destroy the world again by water.

But study 2nd Peter 3:10-14, the next is by fire.

Genesis 9:13, “I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.” (This was God’s promise never to destroy the earth again with a flood).

2nd Peter 3:11, “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.”

Who is Jesus Christ? and why do you need Him? Genesis 17: 10-14

Gen. 18:9-15

God had a wheel in motion from the fall of Adam, through a SEED that was to come. To Adam and Eve and the serpent God mentioned the word SEED. The same to Noah and then to Abraham. Man’s hope will be in the SEED. Genesis 17: 15-21 God made a covenant with Abraham and confirmed in Isaac. And manifest through the seed that was of Mary. Galatians 3:16, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy SEED, which is Christ.”

Who is Jesus Christ? and why do you need Him? Isaiah 7:1-14 God began to announce about the seed with definite revelation and prophecies making the SEED clearer for those who would believe. He said the SEED would come through a virgin, and the SEED would be the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father Isaiah 9: 6 God qualified the SEED by the prophecies of the prophet. The SEED must be of virgin birth, He shall be the Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. You may ask WHO IS THIS SEED? Luke 8:11, “The SEED is the WORD of God.”

(John 1:14 and the WORD was made flesh).

Matt.1:23’ “ Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel which being interpreted, is God with us.

Who is Jesus Christ? and why do you need Him? Luke 1:19; 26-31. Archangel Gabriel came to announce the coming of the SEED to Mary and the Lord confirmed it to Joseph in a dream. The name of the SEED, the WORD of God, was given to them, called JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matt. 1: 18-21. In scriptures the phrase, “The angel of the Lord or of God” refers to God himself. Here in Luke 2:9-11, God in angelic form came to announce his own visit to earth in the human flesh. God is omnipresent. God can come in many forms. He was here letting the shepherds know He was the little baby, come to be the Savior of the world. Luke 1:17, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Luke 2:10, “Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”

Luke 2:11, “ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is CHRIST THE LORD.”
