A QUIET MOMENT WITH GOD
LOVING THE LORD IS SIMPLE. HOWEVER, SOMETIMES WE CAN STRUGGLE WITH READING AND UNDERSTANDING GOD’S MESSAGE TO US. THIS BIBLE PLAN IS DESIGNED TO BE A DAILY GUIDE THROUGH GOD’S WORD, HIS PROMISES AND HIS DESIRES FOR OUR FUTURE, BOTH ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN, AS TRUE BELIEVERS, Study – (Psalm 119:105).
WEEK #26
Paradise removed higher — Even in old testament times the bible depicted the saints were low, and the sinners were even lower yet. (Read Gen. 37:35 — Ps. 16:10; Hosea 13:14) Now Luke 16:26 reveals the secret. “The Gulf” Now Samuel said Saul would be with him the next day, what he meant was, Saul would be in the vicinity but not in the same location, because a “gulf” separated them! One was a false King and one was a true prophet! They could look across at one another, but were separated. Jesus gave the same story concerning the rich man and Lazarus! (Luke 16:22-26) It also reads that Lazarus was in the bosom of Abraham, bosom means a little lower than the top (Paradise); Now! After the Cross, when Jesus was crucified, He changed all this! He went across “the gulf” and preached to the dead (1 Peter 3:19-20, 1 Peter 4:6) and then took Paradise (Old Testament Saints) up higher above the gulf of the sinner! So after the Cross, even today we go directly to a certain Paradise! Here is the rest of the fascinating secret, be sure and read all of (Eph. 4:8-11) when he ascended he led “captivity” captive, and he gave gifts to men! Now he that ascended is the same one who descended first into the lower parts of the earth! He also ascended far above all heavens that He might fill all things! etc.) Scroll #42
Day 1
Luke 23:43, And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” 2nd Corinth. 12:4, “How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

Paradise
Remember the song, “In that city where the Lamb is the Light.” |
Luke 16:19-31
Luke 23:39-43 1st Peter 4:6 Rev. 21 and 22. |
Will we know one another in heaven the same as upon the earth? – Where do people go after death? Yes, we shall know one another in heaven- read I Cor. 13:12. Moses and Elijah were known when they appeared with Christ. (St. Matt. 17:1-3). This is one reason you will rejoice in heaven, you will see your loved ones once again! We will also discern possibly to know those we have not known before like Paul, Elijah etc. We will know Jesus at one glance! When a person dies the Lord sends an escorting angel to them. (Ps. 91:11) explaining secrets after death because surely people are startled afterwards to find they have a spiritual body too! Even more alive and alert than before death. Where are the dead? (Luke 16:26). Divine revelation will reveal this is true (Luke 16:22-23). The flesh body of the Elect that died in the Lord Jesus is in the grave, but the real you, the spiritual personality “form” is in a beautiful waiting place, prepared for them just below the 3rd heaven. (II Cor. 12:1-4). Until at rapture time they unite “Heavens Presence” with their body which becomes glorified then! Now the sinner who dies without God is escorted to a place not so beautiful, below or near the final hell until they also unite with their corrupted body to appear for judgment. (1 Cor. 3:13-14; Rev. 20:12). Afterwards the sinner finally goes to the dark abode. Both places were created; heaven for the saints and hell for the unbeliever. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus reveals recognition in heaven and also people go to different places immediately after death! (Luke 23:43). The rich man also knew Abraham who he had not seen before. He also saw Lazarus and knew him as the same person who once had laid at his gate (Luke 16: 19-23-30). Read Job 3:17-19. David said he would know his son again! (II Sam. 12:21-23). Hold fast and let no man take thy crown. Yea saith the Lord if ye shall believe the Word of the Lord in this message thou shall have no fear for the angel of God is beside thee to watch over thee until I return -‘Selah! “ Scroll #37 | 2nd Cor. 12:1-4
1st Peter 3:19-20. Eph. 4:8-11. Rev. 2:7 |
The angels’ duty -“Is it a fact that certain angels carry the righteous into heaven at death? -Yes! -Let us prove it! …We have often heard that people at death have seen angels around their bed and they were going to carry them into heaven! – In fact just before Stephen was martyred his face looked like the face of an angel!”(Acts 6:15) – “Also at Jesus’ resurrection angels were seen! And for a divine purpose two men dressed in white were with Jesus when He went away!” (Acts 1:9-11) -“But here is a good Scriptural viewpoint of this subject! …Jesus revealed in a parable that the rich man died and descended into the region of darkness! No angels carried him! But it came to pass that Lazarus, the beggar, died and was carried ‘by the angels’ into Abraham’s bosom!” (Luke 16:22-23) | Rev. 2:7, “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” |
DAY 2
Rev. 20:4, “And I saw thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which have not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

Millennium
Remember the song, “Then Jesus came.” |
Acts 2:30
1st Cor. 15: 24-28. Gen. 26. 2nd Samuel 7. Matt. 26:29 |
The purpose of the millennium would include; a).To put down rebellion on earth, so that God may be all and all again, as before the rebellion of Lucifer and Adam. b) To fulfill the everlasting covenants made with Abraham; Isaac and Jacob and others like David. c) To vindicate and avenge Christ and the saints (Matt. 26: 63-66. d)To restore Israel and deliver them from the nations and make them the head of all nations forever, Ezek. 20:33-44. e) To gather all things in one all things in heaven and on earth, Eph. 1:10. f) To Exalt the saints of all ages to a kingly and priestly position according to their works, Phil. 3:20-21. g) To judge the nations in righteousness and restore the earth to its rightful owners, Matt. 25:31-46. h) To restore a righteous and an eternal government on earth as originally planned, Isaiah 9:6-7. i) To restore all things as before sin entered the world, 2nd Peter 3: 10-13. j) To fulfill hundreds of prophecies concerning the eternal reign of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Acts 3:20-21, 1st Peter 1:10-13. | Isaiah 4:1-3
Isaiah 65:20-25 |
In the Millennium man will live for almost 1000 years as in Genesis 5:27 in the days of old, in the beginning, (Scroll #86 paragraph 3).
The Calendar will be restored to 360 days a year, during the Millennium, (Rev.16:18-20). (Scroll #111 paragraph 6). Man will be very precious, (Scroll #151 paragraph 6). The climate will be totally different and beautiful, (Scroll #162 paragraph 3). Jerusalem will be the world capital and all authority will come out of Jerusalem, the city of God. Satan will be locked up in the pit for the duration of the Millennium. Sanity will be on the earth. There will be a very large temple and population explosions, Scroll #229 paragraph 3, 6. 9. Death continues and a child can die at 100 years. |
Rev. 20:6, “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” |
Day 3
Genesis 28:12-13, “And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.”

Heaven
Remember the song, “When we all get to heaven.” |
Deut. 26:15; Rev. 21:9-27;
John 14:1-3; Rev. 3:12; Rev. 2:7; 22:1-3; Luke 22:18 |
Step by step, you get in tune with the Lord and say, “I want you to order my life, step by step, no matter how long. I will not be impatient, but I will be patient with you. I will wait until you guide my life step by step through the trials, through the tests, through the joy, mountains and valleys. I will take it step by step with you with all my heart.” You will win; you can’t lose. But if you get your mind on other people, the failures of other people and some of your own failures; if you start looking at things from that standpoint, you are going to get out of step again. He said He will never leave you or forsake you until He has done “whatever in this life He has purposed and predestined by providence for you. Until it is all over with, He will be with you.” Then, of course, you go into a spiritual plane, into another place—we know that.
How many Gods will we see in heaven – one or three? – You might see three different symbols or more of the spirit, but you will only see one body, and God dwells in it the body of the Lord Jesus Christ! Yea saith the Lord did not I say the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him bodily. Col. 2:9-10; Yea, I did not say – Godhead’s! You will see one body not three bodies, this is “Thus Saith The Lord Almighty!” All 3 attributes work as one spirit of three manifestations of God! There is one body and one spirit (Eph. 4:5-1 Cor. 12:13). In that day saith the Lord, Zechariah declared I will be all over the earth. (Zech. 14:9). Jesus said destroy this Temple (His body) and in three days “I” will raise it again (Resurrect- St. John 2:19-21). He said, personal pronoun “I” will raise it. Why did the Lord allow all of this to look mysterious? Because He would reveal to His Elect of each age the secrets! Behold the Lord’s tongue of fire hath spoken this and the hand of the Mighty hath written this unto His Bride! “When I return you shall see me as I am and not another.” |
Heb. 11:10-16; Job 38:4-7;
Luke 10:20; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 20:11-15 |
Will we know one another in heaven the same as upon the earth? – Where do people go after death? Yes we shall know one another in heaven- read I Cor. 13:12. I go to prepare a place for you.”
Heb. 11:16, “But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He hath prepared for them a city.” |
Day 4
Rev. 21:3, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

New Jerusalem
Remember the song, “Heaven is full of joy.” |
Rev. 21:2-27
Study, Isaiah 65:17-19. |
What a city! The holy city. Called the new Jerusalem. This city is like no other, coming down from God out of heaven.
Remember the first heaven and the first earth were passed away already. So this new Jerusalem coming down from God is out of the new heaven. And there was no more sea. This city is adorned as a bride for her husband. There is no city like this city. Where the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. This city has the glory of God. The city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon for the glory of the Lord did lighten it and the Lamb is the light thereof. |
John 14:1-3
Rev. 22:1-5 |
This is a city of promise to those who believe and live and are faithful to the word of God, Jesus Christ. This city has 12 gates and 12 angels at the gates that only believers can go through; the redeemed. The wall of the city has 12 foundations, (the 12 apostles of Christ). The city is four square. The length, breadth and height are all equal. What a city. The buildings of the wall of it was of jasper and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
The foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with 12 manners of precious stones. The gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. |
Rev. 21:2, ‘And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” |
Day 5
Rev. 21:27, “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

The Citizen of the New Jerusalem
Remember the song, “I shall know Him.” |
Phil. 3:17-21
Eph.2:19 Rev. 22:2-5 |
The citizens of the new Jerusalem are saved people. People who accepted, loved, obeyed the words of Jesus Christ and remained faithful to the end.
1st Peter 2:9, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. What a people! They shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. |
Phil. 4:1
Heb.13:14 1st Peter 1:4 Rev. 21:27 |
In this city God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Psalm 73;25, Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. The citizens of that city are those which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Is your name in the book of life? |
Heb.11:14, “For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.” |
Day 6
Rev. 3:5, “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

The Book of Life
Remember the song, “By and by when the morning comes.” |
Rev. 20:11-15
Luke 10:20 Dan. 12:1 Exodus 32:31-33 Rev. 13:8 |
According to Bro Branham, the Book of life and the Lamb’s book of life are the same.
That is where all about redemption is documented. The names in this book of the Lamb or Book of life were written before the foundation of the world. As a true believer your name was not just written the day you were saved. But when you were saved you became aware of it. Make your calling and election sure. For the foundation of God standeth sure He knows his own. And another book was opened, which is the book of life at the white throne judgment. |
Heb. 12: 22-23
Phil. 4:3 Rev. 21:27 Psalm 69:27-28 Rev. 17:8 |
God can and does remove a person’s name from the book of life.
The Lord said, unto Moses, whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. Deut. 29:16-20, “The Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.” Be careful you do not do anything that makes God take your name or blot it out of the Book of life. Names will be blotted out. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. |
Psalm 68:28, “Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.” |
Day 7
Rev. 22:14, “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

The tree of Life
Remember the song, “Love lifted me.” |
Gen. 1:8-9; 3: 22-24
Rev. 2:7 Rev. 22:2, 14 |
Right from Genesis to Revelation the bible talks over and over about the tree of life; that is in the midst of the paradise of God.
This tree of life is found in the eternal city of God the home of the faithful believers that overcame on this present earth. This tree of life is in the midst and on either side of the river of life, in the home or city of the redeemed that also have eternal life. This tree of life bears 12 manner of fruits. The Lord promised the overcomers to eat of the tree of life; which Adam and Eve were prevented from eating after Satan beguiled them and they sinned. |
The Water of life.
John 4:14-15 John 7: 37-39 |
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life. Everything about this city is life; no wonder the bible says there is no death or sickness or disease there. Jesus Christ is the light of this city and in John 8:12 He said, I am the light of life. The tree of life’ the water of life, He is eternal life and gives eternal life to whosoever believeth. Rev 22:17, “And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” |
John 4:14, ‘But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him, shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” |
