WEEK # 25
THE LAST DAYS –
Matt. 24:36-39, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, not not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark, And knew not, until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Luke 17:26-30, “- – Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded. But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
2nd Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
Day 1
Heb. 11:7, “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his household; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

The Days of Noah
Remember the song, “Nothing but the blood of Jesus.” |
Gen. 6:1-22
Gen. 7:1-18 |
When you hear of the last days, it is almost a process. Certain events help us identify the last days. Prophets prophesied of the last days and when those things begin to fulfill you know we are in those last days for sure. Most of the Old testament last day prophecies have been fulfilled, very significant amongst them are the virgin birth, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. And the pouring out of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost.
The last days have to do with the events and human actions and activities that lead to the translation, great tribulation, Armageddon and the Lord intervenes to bring the Millennium. For all these Jesus Christ referred us to the days of Noah as what to expect from human actions and activities. Just as in Noah’s day, so it is today, “The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil.” Their population multiplied, immorality was the vogue. The earth was corrupt. And the earth was filled with violence. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. You can imagine right now, how God is feeling about man of the earth today. Repent and be converted before it is too late. Turn to Jesus Christ now. These are the last days. |
Gen. 8:1-22
Gen. 9:1-16 |
Jesus Christ while ministering on earth, was the same one who spoke to Noah in the Old Testament about his regret in making man and also the grief man’s way has caused him. He told Noah how to prepare an ark for the saving of his life and of those He will appoint to go with him into the ark.
The last days are always marked by sin, iniquity and judgment of God. Jesus said, at the end of the age it would be like the days of Noah, with violence, man’s heart will continue steadily towards more evil. Today we are witnesses of what the world has become, savagery, and always someone’s army is always on the move to steal, kill and destroy all in the hand of the devil. Today, we are in the real last days and God had made an ark for whosoever will to enter and be safe by his own blood, not gopher wood like Noah’s time. He did not select directly who can enter this New Ark of his blood; but gave every man the free choice to enter or to reject the offer. This is the only gate or door of opportunity to enter this Holy Ark that is about to be shut. Jesus Christ shut Noah’s ark and surely He will shut this Holy Ark built by his blood. Are you in or are you still undecided? Noah had to walk to the ark and enter; so also today, start at the Cross of Jesus Christ with repentance. |
Matt. 24:37-39 “But as in the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” |
Day 2
Gen.19:17, “And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.” Verse 26, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”

The Days of Lot
Remember the song, “No disappointment in heaven.” |
Gen.18: 16-33
Luke 17: 28-32 |
The bible called Lot a righteous and just man, (2nd Peter 2:7-8). But he was dwelling among them in Sodom, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: seeing and hearing vexed his righteous soul from day to day, with their unlawful deeds.
God provided an ark for Lot to escape the judgment of God. The presence of God. He got the angels who came with Him to lay hands on Lot, his wife and two daughters; and take them to safety under a simple instruction, “Do not look behind.” The presence of the Lord was more powerful than the ark of Noah. God closed the door of safety in Sodom by that instruction. But Lot’s wife departed from the Presence of God ark which was his word of instruction, “Don’t look behind.” Remember Moses lifted up the serpent of brass on a pole in the wilderness; according to God’s instruction, whosoever is bitten by the snake should look at it and be healed. Today, for sin you must look up to the Cross of Calvary and accept in true belief what it has done and stands for. So can one enter the last days ark, of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Lot faced very difficult last days in his day. His son in-laws and daughter were destroyed in the fiery judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities. And to his shock his wife who was coming behind him looked behind and became a pillar of salt judgment. |
Gen. 19:1-30 | The men of Sodom saw the two men (angels) whom Lot showed hospitality to and demanded to sodomize them. Lot knew what they wanted so he offered his virgin daughters to them (Genesis 19:5); but they rejected that and even threatened to do the same to him; (Rom.1: 24-32).
Sin had messed up the population in Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities. That God told Abraham in Gen. 18:20-21, “And the Lord said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it which is come unto me and if not, I will know.” The Lord already knew what was going on but wanted to calm Abraham. Who interceded for the cities, knowing that Lot was vested there and had lots of people with him; who even heard or knew the Lord while in Abraham’s fellowship: before Lot moved all he had towards and into Sodom. The judgment of Sodom is a foreshadow of what will happen to the ungodly at the end of time, (2nd Peter 3:7-13). The wicked and the unrighteous will be visited with severe judgment, then the lake of fire. Escape for your life in Jesus. |
Luke 17:32, “Remember Lot’s wife.”
2nd Peter 3:13, “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” |
Day 3
Luke 17:26, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”

Jesus Christ warned
Remember the song, “Lord I am coming home.” |
Luke 17: 20-36 | Be it settled in your heart that in the beginning was the Wor, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, (John 1:1). And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. His name is Jesus the Christ.
He as God knoweth the end from the beginning. He created all things. He created this universe in six days and rested the seventh day. The last days have to do with the ending of the6th day or 6000 years of man. Which has actually ended and we are living in a transition period. The seventh day, which is God’s rest, millennium; a baby can die at 100 years and the yearly calendar will be 360 days a year. The Creator said, these last days will be like the days of Noah and Lot. Wherein they did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage; they bought , they sold, they planted, they builded, until judgment came upon them suddenly; and it was too late, for God had separated and taken his own out of the way. So shall it be at the last days. If the Word said so, who can change it? All that Jesus prophesied are fulfilling before our eyes today; look at the number of breweries for alcohol in the world now and the amount of drinking and immorality that goes with it. Eating places and delicacies of today. Marriage and divorce with children caught in this, and are rebellious to unruly parents. |
2ndPeter 2: 1-10 | The most perfect One to warn about the last days as it concerns those looking for the promise of the translation is the Creator of all things, Jesus Christ the Lord. Even the apostles took heed to his warnings and passed it onto the truly last days believers as Peter, Paul and John did. They emphasized the warnings of Jesus concerning conditions that would be like the days of Noah and Lot.
Believe and act on the words of Jesus Christ for as Peter said, “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” Let us pay heed to the signs of the days of Noah and Lot for our own good because those signs are all around us now. The fig tree sign, is one of the confirmations of the last days; Israel is now back fully in their home land and blossoming as a desert rose of glory. Remember it was one of the prophecies of Jesus concerning the last days. Time is really short, wake up and see the prophecies of Jesus for the truly last days fulfilling before us today. People and nations are buying and selling, building new smart cities but have lost sight of the fact that the door of opportunity to enter the ark of safety and translation, Jesus Christ is fast closing.Repent and be converted, before it is too late. Wake up and do not be distracted, now. |
Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” |
Day 4
2nd Thess. 2:3 and 7, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

Paul wrote about it
Remember the song, “Where could I go.” |
2nd Thess. 2:1-17
1st Thess. 5: 1-10 |
Paul in his writings warned and reminded us of the last days. This man of God had vision and even visited Paradise; and if you don’t accept his testimonies may be the Spirit that worked in him is not the same in you. You cannot deny that God both showed and spoke to him, the things he wrote in the epistles.
About the last days Paul made several presentations of facts and events that will occur soon. That Satan will be behind the rising of the antiChrist, who will come with all power and signs and lying wonders; and with all deceivableness in them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. But to the true believer; be it known that God had chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. Therefore stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. This makes it clear that in these last days one should make their calling and election sure. Put on the whole armor of God and believe and act upon the word of God, always because we are at war with Satan and we also do not know what hour the Lord will come. Be ye ready also, watch and pray. |
1st Thess. 4:1-12
1st Thess. 5: 11-24 |
In these last days, as we expect the sudden translation; Paul admonished us to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more, keep your sanctification and abstain from fornication, (a tool of the devil). Possessing your body in sanctification and honor (Remember your reasonable sacrifice, Rom.12:1-2).
That no man defrauds his brother in any matter. Follow holiness and shun uncleanness. Love one another. Learn to avoid idleness, study to be quiet and to do your own business and to work with your own hands. That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without. For ye perfectly know that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say peace, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. Remember Lot’s wife. |
1st Thess. 4:7, “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”
1st Thess. 5: 22, “Abstain from all appearances of evil.” |
Day 5
2nd Timothy 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

Paul and Jude wrote about it
Remember the song, “Sweep over my soul.” |
2nd Tim. 3:1-14
Rom.1:18-27 |
Paul wrote extensively about situations that will arise in the last days; so that no one will be deceived or taken by surprise that is a true believer. He called it perilous times. What he got by revelation of God cannot be denied as they are now fulfilling before us today. Perilous takes on unimaginable difficulties, stress, troubles, fierce, harsh, risky, dangerous, hazardous and much more. Conditions in the world today mirror perilous times and yet this is part of the beginning of sorrows.
But Paul went further to narrate what the last days would further look like as he said, lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters (as if they control tomorrow), proud, disobedient to parents (yahoo children don’t care what parents think), lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, blasphemers, without natural affection (sadist), having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, heady, high-minded, unholy, traitors, truce breakers, despisers of those that are good, and much more. Today, all these are playing out before us, and some of us are entangled with them. These are the last days, let us not be caught in these snares of the devil. Soon it will be too late to deliver ourselves from such pitfalls of Satan; because evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. |
1st Tim. 4:1-7
Jude 1-25 |
Paul also painted another picture of the last days, when he wrote that the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. This is all around us today because believers refuse to study the bible themselves and are depending on others and their interpretations. And with that it is easy to depart from the true faith.
Jude was not left out in his contributions to the last days issue. Jude spoke about Sodom and Gomorrah which gave themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. And that the last days will produce mockers, who should walk after their own ungodly lust; these be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. These are words that will open the eyes of the worthy seeker and holy inquirer of the truth of the word of God; to help you escape for your life. |
Rom. 1:18, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” |
Day 6
1st Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Peter wrote about it
Remember the song, “Sweet by and by.” |
1st Peter 4:1-19 | In these last days we know one thing, that God is coming to judge. We shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. The end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. Every believer should know that these last days will not be a walk in the park. Satan is out to frustrate our effort to hold fast to Christ and make the translation and heaven. But on our part we need faithfulness, loyalty, obedience and faith in the promises of God, (I will come and take you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also – John 14:3). Wherefore, let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you. |
2nd Peter 3:1-18
1st Peter 5:8-11 |
As we navigate these last days, be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Who resist steadfast in the faith. Remember this is war with the kingdom of darkness. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof, (Rom. 13:14).
In these last days shall come scoffers walking after their own lusts. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing Then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness. Let us learn to grow in grace in these last days. |
1st Peter 4: 12, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.” |
Day 7
1st John 2:19, “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they have been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

James and John wrote about it
Remember the song, “This is like heaven to me.” |
James 5:1-12 | James connected the issue of the last days to a time men will be very busy heaping up treasures. What a waste and deception because people refuse to listen to the words of the Holy Scriptures as in Luke 12:16-21. Riches on earth are good but heavenly riches are better.
In these last days the quest for money, wealth and riches will be so overpowering that the rich will apply all measures and schemes to defraud, even their workers. But the suffering and the cries of the workers will get to God. While this is the case the rich live in pleasure even among church people, on the earth, they will continue to nourish their hearts, as in a day of slaughter. There will be no justice or mercy among these that perniciously seek wealth at all cost. But let the afflicted be patient unto the coming of the Lord.. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth near. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold the judge standeth before the door. These are really the last days. |
1st John 2:15-29
1st John 5:1-12 |
The last days have to do also with a very high degree of worldliness. But the bible says, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
In these last days, Satan will set traps through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, and many will fall into it. Let us always remember to confess any sins in our lives; as soon as you are aware of it, and plead the blood of Jesus Christ against these last days evil forces. John said, “It is the last time: and as ye have heard that anti-Christ shall come, even now are there many anti-Christs; whereby we know that it is the last time.” To overcome these last days, we must love the children of God, by loving God and keeping his commandments. For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even or faith. Whos is he that over cometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God. Do you believe this? |
James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” |
