A QUIET MOMENT WITH GOD

LOVING THE LORD IS SIMPLE. HOWEVER, SOMETIMES WE CAN STRUGGLE WITH READING AND UNDERSTANDING GOD’S MESSAGE TO US. THIS BIBLE PLAN IS DESIGNED TO BE A DAILY GUIDE THROUGH GOD’S WORD, HIS PROMISES AND HIS DESIRES FOR OUR FUTURE, BOTH ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN, AS TRUE BELIEVERS, Study – (Psalm 119:105).

WEEK # 17

Isaiah 45:5-7, “I am the Lord, and there in none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou has not known me. That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.”

Isaiah 40:28, “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.”

The Infallible Godhead – If some are wondering, If I am teaching Jesus (only), No; but He loves these people that believe in that doctrine too. But here is the way the Lord Jesus told me, and this is the way I believe; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost work together as one spirit, in 3 manifestations but not as different Gods. Jesus said, my Father and I are one. He that denieth the Father and the Son are anti-Christ, (1st John 2:22). He that hath the Son already hath the Father. Jesus and Lord are one in the same Spirit, Amen. James 2:19, Satan believes this also and trembles. {What has happened is man has split the Godhead up until they have thousands of organizational heads. But no working God. Satan split the Godhead; divided and conquered the laity. – Scroll #31}

Day 1

Acts 2:36, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

Who is the Lord

Remember the song, “How Great thou art.”

Psalm 23:1-6

Psalm 18:1-6

Exodus 3:13-16

Luke 2:8-11

God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and has no beginning and no ending. And when he started to create He became known as the Creator, (Gen.1:1-31), and He was called God. In Gen. 2:4, He was referred to for the first time as Lord God. Now study Col. 1:15-17 and Rev. 4:11). You will know and appreciate who the Lord God is.

He is God of all, but He is the Lord of those who believe and act on his word. He is God to Satan because He created him and the wicked for the day of evil. But He is Lord to the true believers, and at the same time their God for He created them all for his good pleasure.

After the fall Adam and Eve stopped calling Him Lord God. Until Abraham was looking for a wife for Isaac, then the Lord God, came into use again. Even Abraham’s trusted servant said, “The Lord God of my master Abraham, “ (Gen.24:12, 27, 42, 48).

He called himself Lord. (Heb. 6:13-20

John 8:54-58.

John 14:6-21

The serpent in Gen. 3:1-7, could not use the word Lord or Lord God, because he does not fit, but only used the word God, because God created him. He cannot call Him (Jesus), Lord; he does not have the Holy Ghost.

God, when he made a promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, He sware by himself. Because he is the Creator and there is no other God besides him.

Jesus said that Abraham the father of Israel and the father of faith, who lived on earth before Jesus came as a baby; saw his days and rejoiced; and He said Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus declared to his disciples, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. He told Philip, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, show us the Father?

Isaiah 40:28, “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.”

Isaiah 44;6, “Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer, the Lord of hosts; I am the first and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”

Day 2

The Godhead hidden by the Lord’s wisdom, and shared and revealed to His elect. Gen.1:26 reveals unusual secrets. God said, let us make man in our image, He was speaking to his creation, angels etc. Because in verse 27, it reads, so God created man in His own image. “One, and not 3 different images. It reads, “His own, God’s”. – Scroll 58

Michael called him Lord

John the Baptist called him Lord and the Lamb of God

Remember the song, “Jesus is the One.”

Jude 1-9

John 1:19-36

Every angel or human needs the power in Jesus Christ to achieve anything. The real problem in heaven at one time and on earth today is Satan and his demons and false angels; but the power of overcoming them all is in the Lord. And Michael while contending with Satan called on the Lord. Who is this Lord that Michael draws power from? Peter said that God had made this One both Lord and Christ, Jesus our Savior.

John the Baptist identified Jesus as Lord, (verse 23, Make straight the way of the Lord), as Lamb of God, as the Baptizer with the Holy Ghost and fire, verse 33; as the man who cometh after me, which is preferred before me; for He was before me. This was the definition of deity of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist.

Gabriel called Jesus

Lord,

Luke 1:19-32

Elizabeth called Jesus Lord,

Luke 1:43

Mary called Jesus Lord, Luke 1:46.

Zaccheus called Jesus Lord, Luke 19:1-10

Gabriel was sent by God to Mary the mother of Jesus, and when he came he said, “Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”

“And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

Mary said, “My soul doth magnify the Lord; And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.”

And when Jesus entered the house of Zaccheus; Zaccheus stood , and said unto the Lord; “Behold, Lord, the half of my good I give to the poor, and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him four-fold.” What about you?

Rev. 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Day 3

Rev.4:2-3, “And immediately I was in the Spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one “sat” on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone.”

Jesus said, these things are hidden from the wise and prudent and revealed unto babes, for this seemed good in His sight. Yea, prophets and kings have desired to understand these things, which ye have read, but unto the elect it is given. Scroll 43

The Four beasts called him Lord

Remember the song, “When we all get to heaven.”

Rev. 4:4-9

Rev.5:1-8

God created these four trusted beasts to be in the midst of the throne, and around the throne; full of eyes before and behind. Wonderful work of God. And they rest not day and night, saying Holy, holy holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. (These four magnificent beats if God could talk, think and acknowledge who is Lord, and from their was, is, and to come you know they were talking and calling Jesus Christ Lord, God, Almighty, He that sat on the throne, the Amen). What do you call Jesus? If you do not know who you owe your salvation to then Who is it then did the four beats say is to come? The Translation is loaded with mysteries of God beyond the catching away. Rev. 4:10-11

The twenty-four elders called him Lord

Rev. 5:9-14

There are 24 seats around the throne on which “One sat” with a rainbow around the throne. The four beast when they give glory and honor and thanks to him that sat on the throne; the 24 elders fall down before him that sat on the throne and worship him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. They called Jesus Christ Lord and Creator. Only man goes against his Creator and Lord; but that is why you have the Cross of Jesus, the God of glory. Who do you now call Lord? Rev. 6:10, “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”

Day 4

I foresee man submerging deep towards hell and the lake of fire. At the same time I foresee the children of Go getting in line, preparing for the Translation and heaven. Some events in religion will almost deceive the elect, but cannot. And the favored elect will be shown deep and wonderful revelations from the Lord, accompanied by a powerful anointing to rest upon them. Just before Jesus appears something similar to Acts 2:4 will take place, yet in a more awesome and wonderful way.” Scroll 224

The angels called him Lord

Remember the song, “Stand by me.”

Luke 2:4-11

Psalm 34: 1-22

Jesus the Creator of all including angels, can take any form and appear in any form He wants. If He took the form of man and the form of a Lamb or Dove or Pillar of fire or Rock, then He can take angelic form. In Luke 2, He came as the angel of the Lord, and the glory of the Lord shone around the shepherds. Only He has this glory and shares it with no other. He came to announce his own birth as human, a Lamb for the Cross, for the sins of the world. Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. The angel said it, calling the baby Lord. Who is your Lord? Simeon called him Lord

Luke 2:25-35

Psalm 93:1-5

While Jesus Christ was about 8 days old on earth in human form, as a baby; during his dedication according to the Jews custom, Simeon was there by appointment with God and he became the officiating minister not the high priest. And in verse 29mSimeon called the baby Lord. Simeon was praying to God for allowing him to see the consolation of Israel before he would die. Here he was carrying the same God that gave him the promise, and he called him Lord by the Holy Ghost. Then you ask who is the Lord? Rev. 5:11-12, “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels, round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor and glory and blessing.”

Day 5

Behold I have hidden myself in Jesus in such a way that the foolish virgins and the world cannot see me: until the time that I shall reveal it. But My elect was born to believe it and another they will not hear.” Scroll 35

Abraham called him Lord

Lot called him Lord

Remember the song, “I shall know Him.”

Genesis 18:1-33

Genesis 19:1-24

In John 8:56-59, Jesus said, your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Here Jesus confirmed his visit with Abraham, on his way to Lot in Sodom. In Gen. 18:3 Abraham called Him Lord. And pressured him saying, ” My Lord if I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant.” Abraham served the Lordand two men (angels) with him some food and they ate. Jesus comes to earth when and in whatever form He likes; as here with Abraham on his way to Judge Sodom and Gomorrah. In verse 32 of Genesis 18, Abraham said Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once.

Also in John 8;59 Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Jesus the Creator brought Abraham into existence. Who do you think is Lord?

Genesis 19:18 shows how and when Lot called Him my Lord. And in verse 21-22, the Lord said, unto Lot I have accepted your request and will not overthrow Zoar. Haste thee to escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou become thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar. Lot called Him Lord. What do you call Him?

David called him Lord

(Psalm 110:1-7

Psalm 118:1-29

Psalm 23:1

John 10:14

All over the Psalm, David by the Spirit brought forth numerous prophecies. Among them were the deity of Jesus Christ and we know because of the person Jeusu Christ who alone fulfilled the prophecies to the dot.

Psalm 110:4, “Thou at a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek, which had no beginning and no end, No Father or mother, was not created; Jesus said, I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the root and offspring of David. David knew and called Him Lord.

David said in Psalm 118:14, “The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”

David said,”The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”

Jesus said, “I am the good Shepherd, and know my sheep, and am know of mine.”

Who is both your Lord and your good Shepherd?

John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

John 11:27, “Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world,” said Martha.

Day 6

1st Corinthians 12:3, “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed; and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.”

Thomas called him Lord

Peter called him Lord.

The Centurion called Jesus Lord.

Remember the song, “He is Lord.”

John 20:19-31

Matt. 14:25-30

Matt. 8:5-13

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared unto the disciples but Thomas was not present. He was told but did not believe. And after 8 days Jesus appeared again and Thomas was there, and Jesus said, Thomas reach hither thy finger and and behold my hands and also thrust thy finger into my side and be not faithless, but believing. Then Thomas said unto Him, “My Lord and my God.” Who do you call Jesus?”

Peter walked on water to go to Jesus in the sea, but fear of the waves, tampered with his faith and he took his eyes off of Jesus and started to sink, then he cried out saying, “Lord save me.”

The centurion whose servant was sick and greatly tormented, came to Jesus to plead for his servant. He said to Jesus, Lord, my servant is grievously sick. Jesus said, I will come and heal him. Again the centurion said, to Jesus Lord, I am not worthy for you to come to my house, Just speak the word only.

Remember what it takes to call Jesus Christ Lord, like all these and more have done. What about you, Who is your Lord?

The thief of the Cross called him Lord.

(Luke 23:39-43)

Paul and Ananias called him Lord, (Acts 9:1-18).

The Syrophonecian woman called him Lord, (Mark 7:25-30)

The thief on the cross with Jesus found himself guilty of his crime but found Jesus innocent. He said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come to your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, “Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

Paul as Saul was on his way to persecute the followers of Jesus when suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven and he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. He became blind, and needed help to move. Ananias also called Jesus Lord, and Jesus from heaven instructed him where to find Saul for he was my chosen vessel.

This desperate woman sought healing for her daughter, and was not a Jew, but recognized that Jesus was not only the healer but called Jesus Lord, and her faith moved Jesus to pronounce healing on her daughter and it was so.

John 20:29, “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Mark 7:28, “Yes,Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.”

1st Cor. 12:3, “No man can say Jesus Is Lord but by the Holy Spirit.”

Day 7

Colossians 1:16-18, “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

Who is the Creator

Remember the song, “Spirit of the Living God.”

Remember the song, “ The Great I AM.”

Colossians 1:1-29

Psalm 139:1-18

Isaiah 40:1-29

Man did not create himself or this world he lives in. A study of Psalm 139:14-16, will show you how God made man in secret. And Genesis 1;1-6, shows you how God creates. He speaks things into existence, as He said, “Let there be and that which He speaks comes into existence. What a God, what power and what faith, in action. He created all things for his good pleasure, including you and I. The bible says that Jesus fed the 4000 and 5000 by creating. He healed the sick by creating, even the blind eyes and the leprous flesh, raised the dead and gave them life. He came as a baby and died and rose again and was seen ascending to heaven. Only God the creator, the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s act of creation causes matter, space, time and the laws that govern the universes to exist. Irrespective of the limited efforts of science to explain some of these things; God in one divine action from eternity, creates and sustains all that exists.

Ever imagined what is holding the foundations of each planet that they are still standing and going in their ways with no collisions. That is the hand of the Creator. Study, Isaiah 43:18; 43:19; 65:17: Rev.21:5; Eph. 2:15.

Who do you call your Lord?

Isaiah 45:1-7

Philippians 2:9-11

Ephesians 1:1-11

The word Lord to a Christian means Creator, Master, Ruler, Shepherd, Savior and God. If Jesus is both Lord and Christ then he is God. That is why from Adam through Abraham and the prophets they refered to God as “Lord God.” And you cannot separate Lord from God and neither can you separate Jesus from Lord God. If you through salvation accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior then He is the Lord of your life. He cannot be Lord of a part of your life; He must be given control of your entire life, that is your whole life.

You need to act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Who is your Lord, not your earthly lords ; but the real Lord with the capital letter “L”?

Just to remind you of 1st Cor. 12:3, “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is LORD, but by the Holy Ghost.” Who now is your Lord?

Isaiah 65:17, “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”

Rev.21:5, “And he that sat upon the throne said, behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, write: for these words are true and faithful.”
