The scriptures that testify of Jesus Christ | Acts 9: 1-20
Psalm 89: 26-27. (Remember the song, Jesus is the sweetest name I know). |
Here Jesus Christ testifed and identified himself to Paul. Paul called him Lord and Ananias also called Jesus Lord.
Also, “No man can say that Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost, “ (1st Corinth. 12:3). The angels in Acts 1, the angel who appeared as two men in white apparel confirmed it was definitely Jesus and prophesied that He would come back in like manner as he went back into heaven. |
Acts 1:1-11
Psalm 8:1-9. |
God in the likeness of man just finished his mission, (God visited man; what is man that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou visitest him?) to earth to open the door of salvation to all who will believe. He went to paradise to visit those who were there, and made a stop to preach to spirits in prison (1st Peter 3:18-20).collected the keys of hell and of death (Rev.1:18). Took paradise above and left hell beneath.
Here was the last time Jesus was seen on earth and one of the last things he said are in Acts 1: 8. “Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. As his disciples watched he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Two men in white apparel (angels), said, “This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” When shall this be, you ask yourself? |
Acts 9:4, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”
Acts 9:5, “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” Acts 1:11, “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” |

The scriptures that testify of Jesus Christ | Rev. 4:1-11
Remember the song, “Nothing but the blood of Jesus.” |
Here you can read about the testimony that the four beasts and 24 elders who are in heaven around God’s throne have about Jesus Christ. This was showing that Jesus Christ already represented in heaven what He fulfilled on earth at the Cross. He died for all who would believe. | Rev. 5:1-14 | These four beasts and 24 elders are all around the throne of God, even now. No one was found worthy to take the book, open it , or even look on it; and to loose the seven seals thereof. One of the elders said to John weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, to loose the seven seals thereof. For thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood (Jesus) out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. And many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders, saying, “Worthy is the Lamb (Jesus) that was slain to receive power, and riches and wisdom and strength, and honor, and glory and blessing.” | Rev.5:9, “Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nations.” |

The testimony of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist | John 1:26-37
Remember the song, “How great thou art.” |
John the Baptist, saw the Lamb of God that was to be slain on the Cross of Calvary:
But apostle John saw a Lamb that stood as it had been slain, Rev. 5:6 -9, also for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. These are testimonies about Jesus by the two Johns. |
Rev. 5:1-5, 12. | God prepared a body for the sacrifice for sin. No man in heaven, nor in the earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon, so God came in the form of man Jesus by virgin birth. He came as the Lamb for the atonement for sin. God shed his own blood to redeem man. He was on earth but did not sin. | John 1: 29, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
Rev. 5:13, “Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb (Jesus) forever and ever.” |

The testimony of Jesus Christ by Simeon
The testimony of Jesus Christ by the Shepherds |
Luke 2:25-32
Remember the song, “There shall be showers of blessing.” |
God talks to his people by his Holy Spirit; that he Simeon will not die till he has seen the deliverer, the Salvation of men, the Lord’s Christ. Simeon asked permission of the baby God, to depart in peace according to thy word of revelation. He said, Jesus was a light to lighten the gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. | Luke 2:15-20 | The shepherds when they had found Mary and saw the baby Jesus made known abroad the saying which was told to them concerning the child, Jesus. The testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy. If you have Jesus Christ in you have prophecy in your bosom. Do like the shepherds, testify. | Luke 2:29-30, “Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation.”
Psalm 33:11, “The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” |

The testimony of Jesus Christ by the wise men | Matt. 2: 1-12.
Proverbs 8:22-31 (Remember the song, There is not a friend like my lowly Jesus). |
The birth of Jesus Christ was made known to some strange wise men by his star in the east. They came for the purpose of worshiping him. The wicked also pretended to want to come and worship the child, Jesus but are false as in verse 8, Herod pretended to desire to worship him. The difference is that the wisemen came and were led by revelation. Are you walking by revelation? | Matt. 2: 13-23 | Herod who pretended to want to worship the child Jesus, turned to be a butcher of babies and the children. Matt 2:13, “For Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”
Think of your own testimony of Jesus the Christ. |
Matt.2:2, “Where is he born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
Matt. 2:20, “Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.” |

The testimony of Jesus Christ by/of himself, and the angels. | Luke 2:8-15
Acts 9:4-5. Remember the song, “When I see the blood.” |
Always in the Holy Scriptures, “The angel of the Lord” refers to God, Jesus Christ. In Luke 2:9, “The angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid.” That was God himself, that was Jesus Christ himself coming to announce his own birth as a baby. God is omnipresent and can come in any form and filleth all in all. He said, I bring you good tidings of great joy; for unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord. In Luke 2:13, “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” | Acts 1:1-11
John 4:26. John 9:35-37 |
Two men in white apparel (angels) stood by the disciples as they looked steadfastly towards heaven as Jesus Christ went up. They said unto the disciples, “Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
Jesus came as a baby and angels testified, and as He was departing the earth back to heaven from where he came angels testified too. |
Luke 2:13, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
Rev. 1:18, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forever more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” (This is the same angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ)

The testimony of Jesus Christ by you | John 9: 24-38
John 1:12 Romans 8:14-16. Remember the song, “Oh, how I love Jesus.” |
If you are born again, then you must have your testimony of who Jesus Christ is to you and what he has done in your life to confirm his power in you. Your life must show a difference between your past and your present; which should be the presence of Christ in your life, indicating a new birth by faith and the Spirit of God.
How do you know you are saved? By your actions and walk with God in faith. |
John 4:24-29, 42.
2nd Corinth. 5:17. |
When you are met by Jesus Christ and you believe and accept him your life is never the same from then, and if you hold fast. The woman at the well became an instant evangelist, saying, “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? John 4:29.
Another one said after his encounter with Jesus Christ, “Whether he be a sinner or not, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. John 9:25. What is your personal testimony of Jesus, after you encountered him? |
2nd Corinth. 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Rom. 8:1,” There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom. 8:14, “ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” |
