Where will you really spend eternityWhere will you really spend eternity

The issue is dual question, firstly where will you spend eternity, and secondly how long is eternity. In order to answer part of this question, one needs to know what eternity means. Eternity is considered time without end (in common parlance) or a state of existence outside of time. Especially the state which some people believe they will pass into after they have died. Yes after death eternity begins for some people (those who are saved more so is made manifest at the translation moment) but the unsaved wait a little longer for hell to be emptied and itself cast into the lake of fire with death at the white throne judgment. All these are spiritual initially; but later become tangible and visible.

Eternal life is only in those who have and believe in Jesus Christ; and their names must be in the Book of Life written from the foundation of the world. This book is also the Lamb’s book of Life. The book of Life was mentioned in several books of the Bible. In Exodus 32:32-33 Moses told the Lord, “Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I bolt out of my book.” Sin and in particular unbelief will make the Lord blot out a person’s name from the book of life.

” Psalms 69: 27-28, “Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. Here again we see what sin, iniquity can do in removing a person’s name from the book of life. The book of life is a book of the living and righteous, by the blood of Jesus Christ alone. When a person stays on the lane of sin, the person is headed to a place and time their name may be blotted out of the book of the living which is the book of life or the Lamb’s book of life.

Prophet Daniel wrote in Dan. 12:1, “At that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.” This is the period of the great tribulation that leads to Armageddon. If you are left behind after the translation of the bride, prayer that maybe your name is in the book of life. You may suffer remarkably during the great tribulation and may even be killed; hope your name is in the book of life. Why miss the translation and take a detour through the great tribulation. It’s your choice.

In Luke 10:20, Jesus said, “Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Here the Lord implied the book in heaven written, which is the book of life. The book contains the names of the living and righteous. When you believe and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you are righteous because of him and living because he promised by his word as in John 3:15; “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” This confirms your name is in the book of life; and can only be blotted out through sin and unbelief that is un-repented of.

Paul said, in the book of Philippians 4:3, “And I entreat thee also, true yoke fellow, help those women which labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life.” You can see that the issue of a person’s name being in the book of life was mentioned by the Lord and the prophets. Have you thought about it lately and where do you stand on the issue; also remember that names could be blotted out. Soon it will be too late, for the rolls will be called up yonder before the Lord. Paul was positive about the book of life and the name of the brethren, just like the Lord told the apostles that they should rejoice that their names were written in heaven; but Judas Iscariot was definitely blotted out.

In Rev. 3:5 the Lord said, “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” As you can see only Jesus Christ can save and only He can blot out a name from the book of life. Only He can give eternal life, because 1st Timothy 6:16 states, “Who only hath immortality.”Jesus Christ only has and can give eternal life. He is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth ETERNITY, (Isaiah 57:15).Here is wisdom and understanding, “And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not and yet is.” If your name is not in the book of life you will fall and follow the man of sin. Make your calling and election sure. Be sure what you believe, it is getting real late to act.

At the white throne judgment when God goes through the final roll call and passes the final judgment; many things come to light. In verse 13-14 of Rev. 20, “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire this is the second death. Remember that in verse 10, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.”All these people there names were not in the book of life at the judgment. Sad as it may seem, today is the day of salvation because finally in Rev. 20:15, the book were closed for good: because it states, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Think it over is your name in the book of life and are you living as such; it is heavenly expectation and not earthly satisfaction.

The New Jerusalem, Holy City, the home of the elect; “there was no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honor into it, (Rev. 21:23-24). The main point is that no one can enter the city whose gate are never shut by day for there shall be no night there: except a special group of people. These people are identified in Rev. 12:27, “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” You can see how important the Lamb’s book of life is to believers. The Lamb here is Jesus Christ, who died for us shedding his blood. The only way into the book of life is through the Lamb Jesus Christ.

In Mark 16:16, Jesus Christ the Lamb of God said, “He that believeth (the gospel) and is baptized shall be saved (receive eternal life); but he that believeth not shall be damned.” Damned here was used by the Lamb himself, Jesus Christ, the creator. Imagine a life without Jesus Christ, what hope has the sinner or the person whose name was blotted out of the book of life. Damned is being condemned by God to suffer eternal punishment in the lake of fire. Where satan, the beast (antichrist) and the false prophet are resident. This will be total separation from God and the righteous. I was shocked and amazed of the Bible truth and warning of Mark 3:29, “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.” This statement was made by our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lamb of God, the fullness of the Godhead bodily, He who gave his life for sin. Who only hath immortality, eternal life. Who do you think wrote the names in the book of life from the foundation of the world? Is it the Father, or the Son or the Holy Ghost? Jesus Christ is the One and only true God who manifested himself in the three offices to fulfill his good pleasure. Study Isaiah 46:9-10, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” By his counsel and for his pleasure he created all things, including eternal life and eternal damnation.

John 3:18-21, tell all the story of truth, “He that believeth on him (Jesus Christ) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name (Jesus Christ) of the only begotten Son of God.” It is a case of Salvation which is eternal Life or Separation which is eternal Damnation. It all depends on what you do with Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Eternal damnation is final and is no joking matter. What must I do to be saved from eternal damnation? Accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and Savior, as you confess your sins to him alone, on your knees and ask Him to wash your sins away in his blood. And ask him to become the Lord of your life. Start expecting the translation as you read your King James Bible, attend a small Bible believing church. Get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and not in titles or common nouns of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Be baptized with the Holy Spirit and be a soul winner for Christ, to eternal life and not to denomination. Time is short. Where will you really spend eternity, in the lake of fire, in eternal damnation? Or will it be in the presence of God; in the great city, the holy Jerusalem for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof, (Rev. 21) with eternal life.

1st John 3:2-3, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doeth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” In an hour you think not Christ cometh.
