MEN AND BRETHREN WHAT SHALL WE DO? TIME TO REPENT IS NOWMEN AND BRETHREN WHAT SHALL WE DO? TIME TO REPENT IS NOW

This question was asked by men of Israel, after hearing Peter (Acts 2:14-37) on the day of Pentecost under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. In verse 36, Peter said, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made that Jesus whom ye have crucified both Lord and Christ.” The men were pricked in their heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren what shall we do?”

The sadness of this question, dwell is in the fact, that most of these men, may have heard and even seen Jesus Christ in person.  Some may have known someone healed by Him; may have been passive to the words and deeds of Jesus, without an opinion even at his trial and crucifixion. They may have been among those who ate from the miracle bread and fish, when the Lord fed thousands of men. But they never considered the importance of salvation, like many today do. Many have heard the message of the gospel and the forgiveness of the Lord to enable one to receive salvation by faith.

Presently, salvation is not a priority for many people because of the cares and issues of this life. But there is a translation coming followed by a devastating period of great tribulation. This translation will be sudden and in an hour you think not and many people will missing. Then the same question will repeat itself, “Men and brethren what shall we do?” This will be immediately after the translation and the brethren then will be those who may make up the tribulation saints maybe. It would be an unfortunate question to ask at that time because it would be too late to join in the rapture. Today is the day of salvation (2nd Cor. 6:2) and the events of the great tribulation will decide the fate of such people left behind after the rapture. God’s foreknowledge is something we must keep in mind. Some may be protected by the plans of God and some will have to be beheaded or go through some horror if you are able to confess Jesus Christ as Lord at that time.

Men and brethren while it is called today; this is the time to repent. Now it is free and possible. Peter said in verse 38, “Repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” In Mark 16:16, it reads, “He who believes (in the gospel which is a message of salvation) and is baptized shall be saved; and he who does not believe shall be damned.” Now you know the answer to the question men and brethren what shall we do? Today is the day tomorrow may be too late; repent of your sins and turn to Jesus Christ when he can save you. After the translation it will be doubtful. He will be in for a marriage appointment and the door is already shut till after the death, suffering and destruction of the great tribulation and Armageddon. Go to Jesus Christ now on your knees and repent and call the number on this tract to help you and answer your other questions. I have tried to point you, to the answer of the important question that may happen to you after the translation. Men and brethren what shall I do? Act on the answer now, not when it is late.
