The sixth seal is now in full force, mercy is in hiding. The wrath of God begins. It continues in the trumpets and vials. The serpent since the Garden of Eden has been making a damning move. It beguiled Eve and she fell with Adam. Imagine the way God felt on that day. The family He daily fellowships with: But the serpent came into the orchard, and man fell. Destruction and death came upon man, isolated from God. In Genesis 3: 9-19, God passed the first judgment.

After man was driven out from the garden of Eden, Cain and Adam grew their families into a great population over time. According to Genesis 6:1-8, “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold it was corrupt and filled with violence. And God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. And In Genesis 7:11, the Lord, the same week Noah entered the ark, sent the flood of waters upon the earth, the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened for forty days and forty nights. And all in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land died.

Genesis 18:20-24, “And the Lord said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven. And the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. Only Lot and his two daughters escaped, while his wife looked back, against the instruction given the family in their escape. Instantly, she became a pillar of salt. These were God’s judgments.

But now God is going to pass another judgment. These will be a series of judgments, embedded in the seven trumpets and seven vials in association with the two prophets. The judgments will vary in intensity and scope. The only people promised protection are those 144 thousand Jews sealed in Rev. 7:3, “Saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their forehead.” The timing of their sealing means the bride-elect had been caught up in the translation already. Their sealing tells one that the real great tribulation of 42 months is about to take effect. Jerusalem will take center stage and all the world will look to what is influencing the world from there. The antichrist, the false prophet and satan will be working in unison, but right in Jerusalem, God’s two prophets will be prophesying and helping bring God’s judgment down on the earth. It will be a sight you do not want to behold. The first 5 seals overlap each other and God hid the secret of the translation of the elect, and the marking of the 144 thousand Jews in the silence of Rev. 8:1, that is seal of the rapture.
