Meditate about these things.

In Rev. 17:13, The ten kings have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. Their worldwide power will come in association with the beast. They will give their political authority, military power, technological power, even economic and banking power to the beast to conquer the whole earth, (but for one hour, that is for a short time).

Rev. 17:16, “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”

Towards the end of the tribulation period, however; the ten kings in verse 12, will totally destroy the harlot (whore) system. In verse 17, “For God hath in their hearts (the ten kings) to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”

The desolation of the whore; first, they hate the whore (In this case it is a covenant action, not primarily an emotion, and is often used to describe a choice to disfavor someone.). Second, and shall make her desolate (The whore shall have no friends, hope or encouragement, devoid of comfort, warmth, deserted, lifeless, forsaken without God). Third, She is naked (The whore’s spiritual condition had been exposed, , made manifest, shame, her fornication had been exposed, then nations have found out her wickedness and treachery. They strip her off of her purple, scarlet and gold wears.). Four, And shall eat her flesh (To take all that the Whore owns, the ten kings will turn on her after realizing they have been deceived or tricked by her, that brings their anger and bitterness against her). Five, They burn her with fire (Remember Leviticus 21:9), she will be burnt with fire and the city of Rome where she resides. Atomic or/and nuclear weapons may be used to bring such devastation from the anger of the ten kings. Religious Babylon will be no more). Many that look up to her will face spiritual bankruptcy.

Verse 17, “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. Verse 18, ‘And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Who is this woman? In the scriptures a church is referred to as a woman. Who is this woman that has influence worldwide? No religious organization is worldwide with historical foundations that ran through empires and kingdoms but the Roman Catholic Church. She is the greatest woman on earth today with historical prominence. She is the woman in purple and scarlet and gold. O! How many martyrs of Jesus Christ had passed through her guillotines, stake burnings, lion dens, gladiators, starvation and much more. God remembered her, and allowed the ten kings to do his divine will on religious Babylon at the appointed time. If you are deceived after this, for sure you deceived yourself, for you love not the truth, that you might be saved, (2nd Thess. 2:10 study it).
