Purifieth himself

Meditate about these things.
Purification is the process of removing the natural dominance of evil in the human soul and purifying it from the impurities of sins that hinder spiritual growth. Ephesians 5:26, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it (the church) with the washing of water by the word.” It is written, “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God,” (Matt. 5:8).
1stJohn 3:3, “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” The hope of the translation is an incentive to purify one’s self even as Christ is pure. Also in 1st John 1:7, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1st John 2:6, “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He worked.” “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God, “ (1st John 3:9).
Galatians 5:16, 24, “This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Ephesians 1:4, “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” Also 1st Peter 1:16, “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Hebrews 12:14-15, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”
Remember, “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled, “ (Titus1:15). God’s desire is for us to come before Him with a heart that is pure. Pure living follows purity of heart, and this is only possible with God’s help. Psalm 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Psalm 24:3-4, “Who shall ascend into the hills of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” Remember that God is holy, heaven is holy, all that dwell in heaven today are holy. Those in Paradise now are holy. To aspire to meet Jesus Christ in the air, requires us to practice holiness. It is not by power nor by might but it is by the spirit of the Lord. The translation calls for holiness and purity. The choice is ours to make.
Remember Rev. 22:10-11, “And he saith unto me, seal not the saying of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
