Paul saw it and described it
Meditate about these things
Acts 1:9-11, “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Jesus himself said, in John 14:3, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Jesus is in heaven, stays in heaven and is coming and going back to heaven with those that have made themselves ready. Remember, Jesus is omnipresent. For our sake He comes and goes, in and out of our dimension.
Every believer has in mind the coming of the Lord. His coming to interrupt the Armageddon war or else no flesh would be saved, begins the preparation for the 1000 years rule of Christ in Jerusalem (Millennium). But before this is the coming of the Lord to take his own out before judgment called the Rapture/Translation. If you are here when the anti Christ is revealed, then for sure you must have missed the translation. Paul was a believer that God showed favor to and took him to Paradise. Also the Lord showed him how the Translation would be and also showed him the crowns waiting for him for a job well done on earth. In 1st Thess. 4:13-18, Paul narrated to every true believer what we are hoping for. May the encouragement and confidence that came upon Paul to preach the gospel also come upon us who believe as we study the revelation God gave to him. This would make us not to be ignorant, concerning those who are asleep; that we sorrow not, as those without hope.
If you believe the testimony that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming soon as he promised; for the dead in Christ will come with him. Paul wrote by revelation that the Lord himself (He will do and did not send any angel or person to come and do this; like He did not leave the death on the Cross to any, He is coming himself for the elect), shall descend from heaven with a shout, (preaching, the former and latter rain, we don’t know for how long), with the voice of the archangel (voice here is the calling for the resurrection of the sleeping saint, and only those whose hearts and ears are found ready will hear it among the living and the dead. Many will be physically alive but will not hear the voice, and only the dead in Christ will hear it among the dead.). What a separation. And with the voice comes the trump of God. What an occurrence.
Remember, God has a plan for this, and He showed Paul that the dead in Christ shall rise first. Don’t worry about the dead. Examine yourself if you are ready and if you will be found faithful and hear the voice calling, come up hither. Then we which are alive and remain (faithfulness and holding fast, trusting and believing the Lord away from sin); shall be caught up together with the dead in Christ in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Be ye also ready; for in an hour ye think nor the Lord shall come.
