Mortify therefore your members
Prepare to soar 3
Meditate about these things.
Colossians 3:5-10, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. But ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing you have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”
The world is like the nest of a mother eagle. In certain countries like in North America the bald eagle builds large nests of up to six to thirteen feet deep, over eight feet wide and weighs about a ton. There are different kinds of eagle. It is often considered the king of the air because of its keen eyes and ability to soar far above human sight. The bible uses the symbol of the eagle to portray destruction, strength and power. Isaiah 40:31 reads, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not be faint.”
Revelation 12:14, states, “And to the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” God always associates the eagle with His great works, even during the great tribulation, and the serpent could not contend with the woman given two wings of a great eagle.
Deuteronomy 32:11 reads, “As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead them, and there was no strange god with him.” In these last days, there will not be one feeble person among those going for the rapture: As there was no feeble person in the wilderness as they journeyed to the Promised Land. Whether you are an eaglet or a full grown eagle; a young or older Christian, there will be no feeble person among them.
Rom. 8:22-23, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.” Also Rom 8:19 confirms our hope, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Remember this world is like the nest of a mother eagle and will be stirred at the end of time. Be stir yourself and be prepared as God begins to stir the world (through prophetic signs fulfilling) as a mother eagle. I will be with you; I will never leave thee nor forsake thee, (Hebrews 13:5).
There are signs fulfilling today as prophesied by men of God. Warning us on earth to prepare to meet with God, because He promised to come for those who believe in Him and his word. Jesus Christ the Lord said, “ heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away, “ (Matt. 24:35).
