God is not unrighteous

After the midnight cry 8

And the angel with the First Trumpet soundedMeditate about these things.

Rev. 8:1, “And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” Never was there ever such a situation, the activities in heaven stood still, no singing of angels or any principality or power. There was absolute silence and the devil was confused and could not make a move, not knowing what was the cause of the silence. God did and hid a lot of secrets in the silence. Perhaps the translation, and the seal of God on the 144 thousand Jews and the arrival of the two prophets were here. These events must be in place and out of the way for judgment to commence. These three events are in secret, with the dead in Christ coming suddenly out of the graves, to put on immortality with those who are alive and remain, (1st Thess. 4:16-17).

With these out of the way in the seventh seal; the sixth seal would not be restrained in judgment. Now, Rev. 8:2-4, “And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints (including yours and mine and all saints) upon the golden altar which was before the throne. (Remember the translation was over and the elected saints are in heaven at this time, not on earth). And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. (The prayer of the martyrs under the fifth seal is remembered here too). Judgment of the righteous God is about to sound.

In verse 5, it reads, “And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.” The fire works of God in judgment had started. Rev. 8: 7, “The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up and all green grass was burnt up.” This is terror, there is no defense to this judgment. Imagine a third of green trees burnt up and all green grass burnt up too. Oxygen supply will dwindle in the atmosphere and the carbon dioxide concentration on earth would be unbelievable. You missed the ark of Jesus Christ the Lord in the translation.

Maybe you will be rethinking, what and where did you go wrong. Today is the day of salvation, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior before it is too late. You may rethink why you missed the rapture but there will be no remedy when the trumpets begin to sound. The sound will be unnerving and gripping to the soul, in your unrighteous anger and regret. The other trumpets will get worse and hunger will plague all who are left behind as even green grass is burnt up. Why allow yourself to go through this. Do not bring your children into this kind of judgment, teach them about Christ today. Study Psalms 78:1-8.
