A Soul Winner

Oh, you feel good tonight? I got a chance to come through the rain. It’s raining down a little bit outside and the Holy Spirit’s raining in here, isn’t it? Really great. Match the message tonight. I am going to pray for you and then ask the Lord to bless your hearts. He is going to bless you tonight and He’s been blessing His people. You know, those that will allow the Lord in here, it’s like kind of a furnace where you put the iron in, you know, and melt it. They are either gold or whatever it is that they melt with fire. It will change you if you will let it and it will frame you, mold you just like the Lord wants you. Behold, you shall become a new creature. Isn’t that right? Sure. That’s what He is doing. As we close out the age, He is molding the people by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is fire and power, symbolism of fire. It will purge and it will cleanse and it will work this way for you, and it will work that way for you. And if you allow it, you will be a much better person, stronger mentally and physically, and full of joy and faith in God. Isn’t that wonderful?

Lord, you bless the new people here tonight too and guide them in all of their affairs. I believe you are going to lead them and touch their hearts, if it’d be possible for them to be one of the fruit, Lord, that shall remain. The Bible said at the end of the age the fruit shall remain after these great revivals and I pray, Lord, in my heart, we are nearing that time that the fruit of the Lord upon the earth shall come to Him like the wheat. We believe it with all of our heart. Touch the people tonight. Heal their bodies, touching their souls, Lord. If they have any material needs tonight, go before them and bless them. Do you feel that? Doesn’t it feel wonderful? Just like a swing from the Lord? Glory! Give the Lord a hand clap! Thank you, Jesus. All right. You go ahead and be seated. We will see what the Lord has for us. You know, if I’d have thought of it, I’d televise this tonight. It’d be a good one, but we will probably do it. I got Part 1 here. I’m going to touch on this for about 20 minutes, probably, or 25 minutes, and then we will do something. It’s in kind of a two-part, and the other is not finished and then I don’t know when I will, you know, preach it or bring the message forth. But you listen tonight because the Lord moved my heart quite a while back to just write down “Soul Winner,” by some scriptures, and leave it there. And then as the time comes and He moves on me, why, it just kind of fits in, and then I get the rest of it.
And so you listen real close tonight. Those getting this on cassette, God bless your heart, because as we close out the age, just as sure as anything, this is going to be a very vital message, Part One, A Soul Winner, and let’s read here Proverbs 6: 4 -10. You know, the bible teaches the ant is like the evangelist. It’s like the church worker, too, in many ways. We are going to touch on that briefly. And let’s read it here. It says, “Give not sleep to thine eyes.” And this is Proverbs 6, down to about verse 4, “Give not sleep unto thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids,” spiritually speaking, see. “Deliver thyself as the roe from the hand of the hunter,” always watching, being very alert and active. “As the roe from the hand of the hunter, and as the bird from the hand of the fowler,” or the snare, always watching. And you deliver yourself by watching and delivering others in prayer. Isn’t that wonderful? He is going to bring it out here. “Go to the ant, thou sluggard, consider her ways, and be wise.” Now, did you ever notice, and I only caught this today, it says “her.” Always the Bible will always say he or something, but it says “her.” Now, we know there are male ants, we absolutely know it and queen ants. We know that, but it says “her.” Do you know what he’s speaking about? The church. Can you say amen? Because it would not be like that. The church in the Bible is always compared, male and female, as “her,” the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the sun-clothed woman, and the moon under her feet, and so forth like that, He does that, the elect lady. That’s the bridal party, and so forth like that.
And so he’s speaking here. He said, “Consider her ways, and be wise.” Now, the Bible is speaking about the church and the way it should work here. “While having no guide, overseer, or ruler.” How much more we are today with the leading of the Holy Spirit, the very Head of God going before His people in a cloud, and yet we have the Word of God already. The ant already receives the Word of the Lord and in his instincts, its patterns are all set and what he’s to do upon the earth. Isn’t that wonderful? He already has the word. So, there he goes and, “Provideth for meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.” See, there is a certain time to work, there is a certain time to move. And if you will notice, they are always active, you might say it’s in prayer, they are active in testifying, active in giving, active in intercessory [intercession] or whatever it might be, in witnessing, he is always moving around like that. Anybody that slows down the ant’s way gets pushed off to the side and sometimes the Holy Spirit moves along and puts some of us off to the side. So far, I am staying in with the will of the Lord. When I say “us,” I believe in my heart many people today, if they sit down, are put off to the side. We must always have the soul of another person in our mind and the souls of the world. How many of you believe that? Absolutely! And the anointing is going to provide a way that we have never seen or heard in the history of the world. As we get through with this message, you will begin to see it more perfectly. And so, Jesus said one time, work while it is day for the night cometh when no man can work. So the ant, he is busy, see, he is moving; “her,” it says here.
“How long will thou sleep, O sluggard?” See, the church in different times has been very sluggard. And according to Joel in chapter 1, we find out that the cankerworm, the caterpillar, begins to eat the church and it becomes asleep. The Bible depicts it as sleeping, it said, “Awake thou that sleepest,” see. And so it gets sluggard, no evangelism in it, no missionary in it, and no action in it for miracles, no power in it for feeling and to deliver, mentally and physically. It becomes like a sluggard here. It says here, “How long will thou sleep, O sluggard?” When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?” At the end of the age, there were the sleeping virgins. They were foolish. There were the wise and the bridal party. So at the end of the age, we will be very active. It will be very powerful at the time of the midnight cry. And it says, yet a little while, “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep.” This is spiritually speaking too and the first thing you know, time has gone by and what you could have accomplished has already speeded by. So from this day forward, don’t let another day go by without praying in your heart or making a way that a soul be saved or a soul will be witnessed to. In this church, through our television cassettes, publishing in every way that we can, we are witnessing. Everything that you pray and give, and you do is becoming a witnessing tool and there is the reward and it will come. But we are going to do much more for the Lord in praying and reaching out as the age begins to close. I believe we are going to be one of the greatest soul winning churches the world has ever seen as God begins to move in his harvest. How many of you believe that?
New souls, souls that will be active. Souls that will really be ants, they will really want to keep busy. You know, the ant is really busy. I don’t even think they’ve got time to talk. Anybody here want to talk? They are always going. We, as little children, used to watch them just go and go. I was fascinated by the way that they would go and come and go and come, just moving all the time. Gossiping saves no souls, that becomes hay or wood and stubble. As the apostle said one time, when you compare your work, he said don’t compare it to hay, to stubble or to wood because the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn it all up and you’ve lost your reward. But he said to compare it to precious things like the value of gold, the value of silver and precious stones. Now this is symbolism that he’s talking about– something that will endure, something that is lasting because fire will not burn, Paul said. So he makes that statement according to the soul winner and the master builder today. And so today, we don’t need any hay, we don’t need any wood or stubble, but what we need is the precious things of the Lord to go forth and to have some real value and saving a soul is eternal value. How many of you believe that tonight? Oh can’t you get caught up in this message? If you do, the Holy Spirit will begin to move on you. There is nothing that will activate you any better than when you are talking about souls and see what it does for the system, see what it does for the human, the creature of God, how it will move in such a powerful way.
So we find out, if you sleep and you fold in your hands, “So shall your spiritual poverty come as one that travelleth and thy want as an armed man’ (Proverbs 6:11). You will have to be almost like a criminal or something like that. But the Bible says this. Don’t sleep, don’t [be a] sluggard. Be like the ant, preparing for the harvest that’s going to come. Get your heart activated. Get your mind upon the Lord. We can see how the world’s turning. We can see the prophecies arising on the horizon and in the clouds, we know that the coming of the Lord is near. Now He is going to have a church, and He is going to have an important church, a vital one, this gospel, the real gospel, the apostolic gospel. All these voices, they are coming and they are going in the world. They say they believe this, another one says “I believe that.” Another one says, “Well this is the way it goes,” another one says, “That’s the way it goes.” The only way it goes is just like the Lord Jesus says it goes and if you’ve got any way off to the left or right, you won’t be in there, saving the proper souls for the Lord Jesus Christ. So we find out that the ant is like the evangelist that works. You know, in Proverbs, it shows how the pastor is, how the evangelist is and he uses nature to do it, all through the book of Proverbs. Finally, he calls the church with her banner waving like the moon as clear as the moon and like the sun in her strength, the army of God. Proverbs gives it there, and Proverbs says this also, “He that saveth souls is wise” (11:30). I believe one of the most important things I said here tonight is “Gossiping saves no souls.” Can you say amen? Oh, but they won’t say amen on that at all. Did you know that if you want real value, you are going to have to put those words into witnessing and those words for the Lord Jesus Christ or it becomes what? The tongue becomes hay, wood, and stubble. Think on these things, saith the Lord. It’s true. I know what I am talking about.
Listen to this. He that saves souls is wise, indeed. You know in the bible it said one of the greatest assets in the world is for a Christian or anybody else as far as that goes is to control that tongue. It’s one of the hardest things that you will find in your Christian life. But if you work with it long enough and hard enough, you will control it. You may not be perfect, but you will be able to control it and save yourself a lot of trouble and get more people to the Lord. Do you realize that tonight? I know some things that you speak about, it is not really gossip, you know, and you probably just talk about it. I am not trying to shut up everybody. No, that’s not my point, but just going on and on and on, what we need to do is put some of that energy behind…. When the Lord calls and the revival comes, we are ready. Amen. Our heart is fixed on the Lord and He will do that. So we have it, he that saveth souls is wise, indeed. And the bible likens the soul savers, the soul winners, it likes them to the stars, the bible says. And I am going to one day come and touch on something that’s very important there, but I’ll just barely do it right now. “And shall shine as the stars,” and compared to the stars in Daniel chapter 12: 3. Daniel himself was a great soul winner witnessing to Nebuchadnezzar and finally, Nebuchadnezzar praising the Lord and telling how great He was at the end of the age. And by the prayers and the power of Daniel, many went home, so the seed of Messiah would come forth there.
Now, Luke 10:1-3, we will read it here. We are through with Proverbs. You know, the last verse above chapter 10 of Luke says this, “And Jesus said unto him, “No man, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). Any church, any people that has once started off for the Lord and looks back, they are not fit for the kingdom of God. That means that no church should stop, it should constantly be moving by advertisement, publishing, or some way or another, witnessing to a soul. Because if you look back and you stop the soul saving, what have you done? You have stopped the very life that comes to you yourself, and by delivering others, you deliver yourself. You keep yourself delivered by doing this for others. There’s a good message that’s going to come right here. Listen to this before we get into this, also, the ant can carry more than his own weight. Did you know that? Amen. Learn wisdom; soul winning can do the impossible at times, led by the Holy Spirit, it’s just like the ant. You can take and start with so many people, and it can carry more weight than you’ve ever dreamed of in prayer and praying and whatever it’s doing and the first thing you know, it’s just like the ant, it can reach out there and do the impossible. We’ve already seen the impossible here as far as the Lord moving and the benefit. I don’t know why people don’t even say more than they do, but they hardly say anything. But on my list, they do. I can tell you one thing there have been miracles here, powers here, God working financially, working supernaturally. I can’t help but to say this, how can you sit there and not see it? Say it to the Lord? You are looking for 10,000 outside and 10,000 inside, and you are blinded. Look at what God is doing all over the world. This is only the headquarters. He is moving by His power. He is saving people. People forget that. They just come out in one service, come out in another service, come out in another service. Sometimes you have tremendous turnout. Sometimes you don’t. Don’t ever go by that. God’s moving in His cycles, He is moving in His people, we are moving all over the country and people are being blessed by God, being healed by God. They are coming from everywhere and He is healing those people. So, you should be encouraged
You should be uplifted when a message comes forth like this. It should be just the thing of the hour. In fact, the Lord says there’s no other message in the Bible that will outdo this message that we are preaching tonight on the soul saver. How many of you believe that tonight? See, He told me, and I wondered why He said, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard.” Go there tonight and read it. It is for admonition not only here tonight but on this cassette. God is fixing to move on His people and those that are ready and those that are preparing their heart and those that are praying for souls, they shall reap a harvest. You may not see it right away in your own life. You may go for weeks without even seeing a soul saved in your life. We see it here all the time on the platform and so forth like that. You may go and just witness for a while and then He will move and set you away, there will be two or three, they will start listening to you and they will give their heart to the Lord. If it’s not here, somewhere else. They will give their heart to the Lord. God moving on His people, we are coming with a great revival. Now in Luke, don’t look back, keep winning souls for the Lord. Each church age that sat down on the Lord was not fit for the kingdom of God and He spewed them out of His mouth, the Bible said at the seventh church age, Laodicea.
Now we have this and it said, “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” They went ahead and began to ring the bells that the Messiah, He was coming with power, visiting, talking to them. That was His advertisement in that day. If He’d had radio or television or whatever it was to be, He would have done it also. But that was the way they advertised in those days; they went forth. So we see that they used advertisements. Jesus knew how to use advertisements better than anybody. Many times He’d say, “Don’t tell anybody anything, and boy, they just talked the more. Did you ever read that in the Bible? Oh, He knew how to do it, and the whole crowd said, “He told them not to tell anybody, I am just going to disobey, I am going to tell everybody.” See, that’s human nature and He knew it was human nature. “Boy, there must be something important in Him not saying anything, we are going to tell everybody.” It must be good gossip. It must be good news. The Bible calls it good news. That’s the right kind of gossip, saith the Lord. Whoo! Isn’t that right? Boy, they went out of there gossiping. Oh, yeah! But it turned in His favor. And they heard the Word of God because He said, “Don’t tell anybody,” and then everybody came out there. You read it in several places in scripture (Matthew 9:30-31; Mark 7:32-36). He did it like that. Only very few times that He really meant to tell nobody, when He talked to His disciples, but two or three different times when He was healing the sick, He would tell just a few and the next thing you know, they were just coming from everywhere. He knew how to use His advertisement. He knew exactly where to go and what to do. See, as an example, here He is choosing them to go out in front of Him and tell the cities He was coming with great power.
And He said unto them, ”The harvest truly is great.” But notice, even then, His choice was for a certain amount. He numbered them 70, no more. He could have asked for 100, see, in His cycles, He moves what He wants. Just exactly timed everything that He does. “Therefore, he said unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye.” Now with His command and power, He could have sent them anyway. But He is asking for prayer knowing that after He was gone, the Holy Spirit poured out, all Jerusalem would be shaken by the power of God, with the apostles, sometimes 3,000 and 5,000, turning out to the crusades as they went forth. But He told them to pray for more laborers so that He would reach on out and their prayers would be answered. “The laborers are few, pray ye therefore The Lord, of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2). You say, Well, He’s the Lord of the harvest, why don’t He just send them in there? First, He puts a prayer in our heart and as the age begins to go, and as we begin to close out at the end of the age, that will be more of an intercessory, more of a prayer to pray, and an activation of the Holy Spirit in all of His church. It will be like those ants, just to go in and come in. How many of you can say, amen? He is going to have an active church, a soul-winning church at the end of the age that you have never seen. I mean, He is going out, He is going to do this for His people, and He is going to pour in a blessing. We realize that. So, He said, ‘Send forth the laborers into His harvest.’ How wonderful that is. And He said, “Heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is coming unto you” (Luke 10:9). That’s wonderful. Nothing by any means shall harm you (v. 19).
The power of the Lord, you have power over demons, and power over devils, and so forth like that, go ye forth. This church, I would like through television, or possibly publishing, and the different ways, commercial advertisement, or how He would start to move, or how I would hire people and have them, however it comes, and He moves on me. I want this to be one of the greatest soul-winning churches in the world and it will be. Always in my heart when I built it. I built it to save souls, and it will come in its due time as the revival of the Lord. Everybody knows all over the world, there’s a lull. The people that are giving their hearts to the Lord and vow to be with the Lord one day, and the next day, they’ve forgotten all about the Lord. It’s the time that the bible predicted that we’d be living in. There would be scoffers, and you might witness to three or four, and it’d look like they are going to turn their hearts to the Lord, and then, of course, the next thing you know, they are not, but you keep on witnessing. You keep on, determined in your heart, and you’ll go to seeing a few here and a few there. They will turn their hearts to the Lord, and some will remain, and that is called the fruit, and that is from the harvest. Can you say praise the Lord? These things are coming. So we find out in Matthew 16, 26, because I believe this church is going to be one of the greatest soul winners in the world. We have had thousands, they live all over the world that come here, and they come in and out of here. Sometimes they are from the East Coast, sometimes the South, sometimes from the Midwest. I think over the weekend, we had a whole line of them come from Los Angeles, California, and demon powers were cast out, miracles were performed, and we had a chance, and they went back to their homes. But there will come a day, the Lord will send His people. This church seats thousands and thousands of people. You can get a thousand in here, and it looks empty. You get 500, it looks empty. You have to have several thousand to begin to fill this up in here, and it’s a headquarters. But as the end of the age comes, many of those people that are traveling all over the country that are coming in here, there will come a time that the Lord will allow the fruit to remain even more so than here. And we are doing good, God is blessing His people, and He is blessing them on the weekends, and by His power. We are going everywhere with the gospel that we can go, and that’s the most important thing.
I know healing the sick, we see all of those miracles, and that is one of them. We see them all of the time, but don’t let the soul slip your mind. We are going to show you, the Lord moving on my heart, showing you why some people don’t have the joy they need, and where is our joy coming from at the end of the age? Where is the divine love coming from? Where will the Lord bless His people? Where will the Lord prosper His people as the age closes out? I’m going to show you how, show you why it’s going to work, and we will find it here. Matthew 16:26 and before I start, a great soul-winning church, I believe, will be here with all of my heart because it is on the Rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevent it. Isn’t that wonderful? I mean the gates of hell have tried every way they can to block these messages and how they come, God just moves on. He just moves on in there; He sends them where He wants to. They go everywhere, in every state and overseas, God is blessing His people. Where it’s few here and a few there, maybe several hundred here, several hundred there, and finally it gets up into the thousands, God blesses His people. They are going to multiply. He is going to bless His people. And anybody with this cassette, be a soul-winner for God. I don’t care how many you witness; leave it to the Holy Spirit. If they don’t seem like they are going to get saved, you have witnessed, and that’s what it’s all about. He said you shall witness to all nations. He didn’t say everybody would get saved, but the more you witness to, the greater reward that you shall have. Besides the joy, He will have a reward for you, and that reward comes only by either helping to save souls or saving souls, and there’s a great reward in that. We know that, and it’s on the Rock. Matthew 16:26, “For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” It reveals the value of a soul. Did you know that? One soul, God likens this world as dust, but He likens one soul that will come to Him, He likens it more valuable than the universe itself because the universe can wax old. Stars black out after millions of years, the universe goes to powder in different places in galaxies, all of it created materially. But the spiritual, that one soul that’s got eternal life, that one soul, He likens above all the stars in His universe. He compares the shining to them, and so we find out that the one soul that has eternal life is worth more than the whole universe. How many of you can say praise the Lord to that? Because it is eternal, how valuable it is! That’s why Paul was not comparing it with wood, hay, and stubble, but he was comparing it with the precious things that would endure. He knew how to symbolize it. So, if you gain the whole world, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? It reveals the value of it.
Everyone can be a soul winner; women, children, men, teenagers, you name it. Everyone, a child big enough can speak and give a testimony. In fact, in Joel 2, where it said, “I will pour out my spirit on all flesh,” it shows all of the family of God in some way, witnessing. Everyone can be a soul winner. We find in the bible that women that testify can be a soul winner to one next to them. They can testify about the power of the Lord, and that’s true. So, we find there is no greater joy in the world than to make it possible or to save a soul. How many of you know that? And as the age begins to close, He is going to move on His people in such a soul-saving way. That’s where your joy is going to come from. And remember, whatever your prayers are, whatever your giving is, whatever your intercession or whatever your witnessing is, remember this, those souls being saved, you can have joy, and the joy will come from the Lord. There’s no greater joy that will sweep the earth when He brings that elect together and saves those souls. How many of you realize this? The Lord puts it this way. Only several places we have in the Bible where angels rejoiced. One was when the Savior came, the Messiah, they rejoiced. And the other one says that the angels rejoice when one sinner repenteth. That ought to tell you something about an eternal soul. Did you know if you have eternal life, there can be no value as far as material things put on it, God said? None at all. It is something spiritual that God had with Him in eternity. It is part of Him. It will go back to Him. His elect will come to Him. Can you say amen? And while we save the elect, and while the Lord is witnessing to His people and bringing in the true seed, the very firstfruits of the harvest, His true seed, while we are saving those and they are giving their hearts to God and being filled with the power, we will also be witnessing to the foolish virgins. We are to do that. And we are witnessing also past the tribulation group, even some of the antichrist system, witnessing by His power that this gospel shall be preached into all nations and shall be witnessed to every creature. How many of you know that? It didn’t say every creature would be saved either. It didn’t say everybody. It said He would pour His Spirit out upon all flesh, but all flesh won’t accept Him. We know that, but yet it’ll be in the air. Oh, there is a time coming, there is a real revival. How great is the soul winner! He that saves souls is wise.
And the Lord healeth their bodies and puts the Holy Spirit within them. He is going to give us the power of prayer, the power of faith. The church will enter a new dimension of faith and in this dimension–I’ve already been in it and seen it, this dimension of power that is here–not many people want in that dimension yet because it is something that their nature cannot line up with. But nevertheless, there’s a dimension of faith and that dimension of faith it’s going to reach on out there. And when it does, you are going to see the first fruits of that harvest come to Him. He is the Lord of the harvest, and no one can harvest it until the Lord says, “Harvest.” And immediately He puts in a sickle when the harvest is ripe. It will absolutely take place. Then at the end of the age, as we go, God moves. I wrote a little notation here: He moves like weeks and months and years and the Lord moves in cycles through His coming. We are going to have a great wave of water denoting salvation upon the earth for one last time coming to His people. But He moves in cycles, He will move like waves. It comes in waves. You know, in the ocean, you will see a wave. It will come smaller and then there will be a bigger wave behind it and then a bigger, about seven, eight of those, and then you have the big one come over like that. And I told you one time what I had seen on the beach, carried there. It was incredible. And how I thought I’d be destroyed and everything in the land would be destroyed and how that whole thing went out. It was higher than any building you will ever see coming and it came over a great wave and came down and I was still standing there. It never bothered me a bit. It felt really good. Did you know? That’s a wave of that salvation coming. I mean, He’s going to come and bring His people. I know waves of destruction are coming too because in the negative, there will be waves of destruction upon the earth, huge meteorites coming, falling upon the earth later on, the tribulation, so forth like that.
But a wave of salvation, now we have about one wave in the early church, another wave in the second, third, fourth church, waves coming there. The seventh church age, and about the seventh wave is coming to Laodicea, and here comes that big wave of the first fruits harvest and it’s coming too, I know what I’ve seen. I know what God is going to do for His people, but the sluggard will sleep on. Amen. And those [sluggards] will fold their hands. They are not fit for the kingdom of God if they look back. Any church, any group, always in the church ages, when they look back, they become dead and He threatened them into extinction because they lost their first love, they became nauseating, He had to spew them out of His mouth. We need an active church, an energy of power. We are going to reach out. God is going to save souls before this is over with. That is our job. We’ve got a job, laboring like the ants in the harvest. We are going to move, and God is going to bless His people. How wonderful it is! How many of you tonight would like to be a soul winner to the Lord Jesus Christ? Would you? Now He moves in cycles in the harvest and those waves will come. Let me explain it this way: You may do something, you may be witnessing and not see very much, that doesn’t make any difference. The Word of God will not return void; something will be done. Tonight, I can’t pray for everybody up here, but about 20 people, I am going to pray that God will really touch your heart, and you will be intercessors praying for souls every moment that you can. I want you to do that. And you promise God in your heart that as the age closes out, you are going to do all in your heart in prayer and in any other way that you can for the Lord, any extra that He wants you to do. You put it in your heart to help the Lord in prayer and intercession anyway that you can. But be a soul winner in your heart and you have automatic wisdom. Isn’t that why?
And the rest of you, tonight I’m going to pray that God will touch your heart and that you will become soul winners. If you are new here tonight, if you want the blessings of the Lord on you, you start off your Christian life to save souls and you will always have a happy Christian life. But if you sit down and don’t try to save a soul, you are going to be just like a lemon. Pretty soon, you just dry right up and be completely sour and say, “God has failed me.” See Him talking? But if you want the angels to rejoice, watch the souls come to God, He rejoices. Twice, He rejoiced. That’s right. The one that came back to God that was a backslider, rejoiced. And when the Messiah came, the angels rejoiced when He came. Very few times in the Bible and there it is right there, showing you how important. What will you give in exchange for a soul? Not the whole world or the universe, God said, it’s not worth one soul. It shows you the value, and it shows you God loves a soul winner. How many of you know that? And if you are new here tonight and you want to see God prosper you, God bless you, and God lead you, and knock the devil down, then you start saving souls. Amen? You may have a few tests, but He will give you more courage and you won’t even understand where it comes from. We are moving in the age, and I’d like to build these types of sermons. Those on the cassettes that are writing to me, you write and tell me you are praying for me, and we will win souls together. Everything that comes in here, through the mail or anything, souls, we are going to win them. We are going out amongst them because the age is closing fast and we are in the 80s, what a time!
And if you want to be soul winners, and how many years or months that are left in these 80s, what an opportunity! And when it is passed, you will not have an opportunity again, saith the Lord, it will be shut out. No man will work then. How many of you see what He’s telling us? Some of you here are probably way up in years, even if you are 50 years old or 70 or 80, and you know if you knew what you know now, and all those years passed by where you could really be praying and doing something for God, you’d say, “Oh, now I’ve reached this far that I could have done all of that for God. Why didn’t I listen and stay in with the Lord and do all of this for the Lord?” Because time is fleeting and only what’s done for the Lord in soul saving is going to last. Nothing else is going to last; it will all be hay, wood and stubble burned by the Holy Spirit. There will be no reward. So we have that today and now tonight, you’ve still got an opportunity, the door is still open. And no matter what your age is tonight, concentrate your heart, discipline yourself militarily, that you are going to control yourself, that you will remember the harvest in prayer, and that you will reach out and be prepared in your heart that the Lord will save souls. He said pray that the Lord will send evangelists and so forth into the harvest. How many of you know that? The laborers are few; to send laborers into the harvest, pray. And as you begin to intercede and pray, and you begin to activate yourself in your heart, you will see as we get into this, as the end of the age comes upon us, you will begin to see the Lord move. Those prayers will be answered, they will. Now, miracles, sure, financially, too, God just moves for me, moves this way for you, miracles, miracles, but no one moves His harvest but Him and He will move that harvest.
Our prayers are heard each day that we pray. Each time that we pray, He is going to work for us, be determined in your heart. Like I say, as He comes in His cycles, He will move and finally, He will move in and it will be a great wave of the Lord to His children. It will be a quick, short, powerful work. What an opportunity! Now, the years have fleeted by, let us not wait now in our hearts. Let us be a soul winner, there is where the joy of the church and the rewards will come from, the bible said. And so as we close it out, let’s not waste any more time in our heart, but we begin to believe the Lord and become a soul winner for the Lord Jesus Christ. How many of you feel good tonight? I know that already each of you has seen, probably no telling, how many souls, how many have been healed in my ministry overseas by prayer cloths and in this nation here? But my lands, let’s reach out! Can you say amen? Let’s get determined. Let’s activate in power. Let’s prepare for a great revival because the Lord’s going to work among His people and in His timing, He is going to do it. We are on the Rock. We’ve got strength, we are building on the Rock and saving souls is building on the Rock. He will bless your heart.

So tonight, I’m going to pray the Lord will anoint you and that you’ll be praying for souls. Somebody said, “Are you going to take up an offering? No! I am just going to pray for you tonight. How many of you are going to get loose? What we want to do tonight is to get the spiritual involved into this, allowing the anointing to move for you. How many of you can say, praise the Lord to that? Man, this is important to me. Why mix that in there right now? I want the Lord to bless His people. I want about 20 of you to line up over here. I am going to pray for you. Amen. Of course, I want you to get loose. I know in a lot of meetings they preach and that happens [taking up an offering]. And about 20 of you get over here, I want to make that plain tonight. What we want to do tonight is let the other go, but we want to get our hearts set. Promise in your heart He will prosper, He will bless you regardless, in your heart, you want to save more souls to God. And you may go for maybe six months or a year and see souls saved, but remember, there is coming more and more as the age closes out here. Amen. Now I want the rest of you to stand up. I am only going to pray for about 15 or 20. The rest of you, I’m going to pray over you right here. He will bless you right here, same as crossing the platform. But this will kind of stir up the power of God. Say, “Lord, I’m going to be a great soul winner for God as the age closes out.” And you will have more value on your mind and heart to God than you ever had in your life. Just one soul. Begin to pray, begin to ask God to bless you so that you can do more for the Lord Jesus Christ and He will bless their heart. Joy will come to your heart, and health will come to your soul and body. Come on down here and line up. Amen. I am going to pray that God will move on these people. They will have chances to testify when He moves on them. They will have chances to pray. They will be active in their heart and that will keep them from going to sleep. Can you say amen? Then I will pray over you right here. Come on!
