The end of Babylon
After the midnight cry 33
Meditate about these things.
Revelation 18:19, “Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets, for God hath avenged you on her.” Rev. 18:24, “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” Babylon is mysterious and more of a false spiritual kingdom in operation, than in the physical or material.
Babylon is a mixture of materialism and false spirituality. At first the whore looked as the final head or leader of it all, but a spellbinder the antichrist was concealed in the background calling the shots. The whore and false religious part of Babylon had received her judgment. But the mastermind was now pushing the materialistic and religious tinged part of Babylon to rise to the forefront. Babylon is controlling the world today both religiously and commercially. Presently, it is subtle, but at this end of time, with the help of electronics and computers will control the world population. The only way out will be in The Lord Christ Jesus.
Matt. 23:29-36, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, if we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.” Here they are going to pay for all that were slain upon the earth.
God will judge the commercial part of Babylon, but remember it is still called Babylon, a false spiritual and commercial mystery. Look at the churches today, they are no longer only involved in the supposed spiritual welfare of the world population but are heavily involved in commercial ventures from brothels to banking and manufacturing. No wonder Rev. 18 13-16 and 19 mixed together will show high commerce and in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints (religious issues), and of all that were slain upon the earth. Babylon with her spiritual implications originated from the garden of Eden, from the devil: led to the fall of man, in their disobedience to God (Genesis 3:4-5 satan preached his false doctrine a to Eve and started the false religion that ballooned to mystery Babylon at the end of time), and the death of Abel at the hand of Cain. Babylon is actually wickedness and death concealed.
Jeremiah 51:26, “And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for a foundation; but thou shalt be desolate for ever.” Isaiah 13:19-22, (Babylon had been destroyed several times but this will be the final destruction of whatever is associated or called Babylon for it shall be no more. It will be overthrown as Sodom and Gomorrah). “ Rev. 18:21, “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.” Escape for your life now by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Babylon shall be no more both religiously and commercially nor will there be a city called Babylon any more. God will judge and destroy Babylon. “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues,” (Rev. 18:4). God was still warning people for their own good. But how many will listen? Study 2nd Corinthians 6:17.
