And in his hand a sharp sickle
After the midnight cry 19
Meditate about these things.
Rev. 14:12, (Maybe looked at in two ways, it may apply to Christians today in applying wisdom to escape for their life in the translation. Or may apply to tribulation saints left behind, as for them to be patient and go through the great tribulation without any allegiance to the antichrist), “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Rev. 14:13, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.”
Rev. 14:14-16, “And I looked, and beheld a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.” And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.” This is God’s mercy in time of judgment within the tribulation period. Great tribulation is still God’s mercy to purge the tribulation saints to where they become acceptable to Him, even in death.
God’s judgment is swift, definite and He foreknew what it would be like and those who will reject him and his word. Remember and study this scripture in Proverbs 1:23-33; turn to me and forsake sin, because I have called, and offered you myself as a sacrifice for sin and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and you did not regard it. You have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof. I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh. When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me. After the translation it will be too late.
Yet in Rev. 14:17-20, And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. Another angel came out from the altar, which had power over the fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, thrust in thy sharp sickle and gather the cloisters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. This is the Amargeddon match. Who wishes to be cast into the great winepress of the wrath of God. If you reject the gift of God, the sacrifice for sin, the Lord Jesus Christ; and you miss the rapture, and take the mark of the beast, you will end in the great winepress of the wrath of God. Who had ever rejected the Word of God, Jesus Christ, and made it.
