Help in the valley of decision
We are in the last days that have come upon the whole world and it looks sudden. How ready are you for the things that are coming and confronting mankind. Nations and peoples of the world today are entering the valley of decision; Joel 3:14, states that, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.” The world is in the valley of decision now. Which has a natural look and a spiritual aspect.
People must prepare if they want to make it out safely, out of this valley of decision that is creeping in upon humanity. Where and how do we start you may ask? You must start at the Cross of Calvary. You must acknowledge you are a sinner and come to Jesus Christ for mercy and forgiveness. When you accept Jesus Christ truly as your Savior from sin and Lord of your life now; then a new relationship is developed that helps you in the valley of decision, that the multitudes of this world are in now.
When you are born again, 2nd Cor. 5:17 now applies to you, “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” Now the sinner becomes a Christian. In regeneration a Christian receives the nature of a son of God. But in adoption he receives the position of a son of God.
Rom. 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” According to Heb. 13: 5-6, “Let your manner of life; be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have; for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” In the valley of decision there is help for those that know their God; despite the multitudes.
Every Christian obtains the place of a child and the right to be called a son, the moment he or she believes, (1st John 3:1-2; Gal. 3:25-26 and Ephesians 4:6). The indwelling Spirit gives the realization of this in the Christian’s present experience, (Gal. 4:6). But the full manifestation of his sonship awaits the resurrection, the sudden change and translation of the true believers which is called the redemption of the body, (Rom. 8:23; Eph. 1:14 and 1st Thess 4:13-17).
In the valley of decision the only help is the power of the Holy Spirit. According to Ephesians 4:30, “And grieve not the Holy Spirit, by whom we are sealed unto the day of redemption.” The Holy Spirit is our only source of help and deliverance when multitudes and multitudes will find themselves in the valley of decision. You must not grieve your helper in the valley of decision, Grieve means that believers can make the Holy Spirit sad, through our sinful actions. He sees all you do and hears all you say, both clean and filthy things. It also means we need to be careful to know that Christians are capable of sin. Also it means that God really cares about how we live our lives, once we are saved.
It is very important to know that in the valley of decision people pray and cry out to God and some forsake God and all his admonitions. According to Rom. 8:22-27, “— – Even we ourselves as believers, groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, that is, the redemption of our body; —— – Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity; for we know not what we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
In the valley of decision that is coming upon this world, there will be a lot of praying and crying unto God. The unsaved will be overwhelmed. The saved, the backslidden and the religious people will be confused, and some get angry against God. All these will be multitudes and multitudes in the valley of decision. But there will also be believers in the world too, until redemption. All will cry, but the true believer with the Holy Ghost, will cry out to God in prayer, groaning. But there will come a time that the Holy Spirit himself will make intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered for the saints according to the will of God. This will be the help to the true believers, (the Holy Spirit making intercession for them). Remember, one of the true signs of a sure believer is that they would never deny any word of God.
