What is the most important decision today?
Suddenly, your last opportunity may be gone because no one is guaranteed the next moment, minute or day. What do you think will be your stand with God if you drop dead right now? You may be here today and gone tomorrow. You may ask who holds the key to determine such? He who created all things and brought you on earth, controls all things about you. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Verse 18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 1:12, says “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in his name.” What is His name? The Lord Jesus Christ, (John 5:43). Romans 8:9 reads, “Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Also John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also.” Eternity is coming to change mortals to immortality. Jesus Christ is eternity. He is immortal and promised to give all that believe in Him eternal life and immortality (1st Timothy 6:16). You can have eternal life through salvation (the first most important decision you have to make as an unbeliever), obedience, and faithfulness to His word. He promised both redemption and judgment. The choice to accept His salvation or judgment is yours.
The most important decision you can make today pertains to where you will spend eternity. Eternity is not measured in years that come to an end. Eternity in the Lord Jesus Christ is void of death or separation from God. It is an unending life away from this dimension of sin and death, and separation from divine love. There is no love if you are away from Jesus Christ. That is why divine love is what will attract Jesus Christ to the true believer when He comes to collect His earthly jewels; who have heavenly minds, filled with love. The time and place He will meet the elect is at the translation which is the most important expectation of every believer.
How are you getting ready for this meeting in the air with the Lord Jesus Christ? The most important question is this, are you sure you will be caught up to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air, when the translation takes place? Let me remind you, being caught up to be with Jesus has nothing to do with the church membership or denomination to which you belong; everyone will give account of themselves to God. Also, you must know who you are expecting, One GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ, and not three gods. Are you saved? Are your sins washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, who promised He is coming back for “you”. How can you fit the mold for the word “you” when you have not repented and are not converted to the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a nightmare to make the wrong decision at this crucial time of your life, that could end at any moment. Sorrow cannot even come close to describing the misery of making an awful decision of not accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you do not accept Him now, then it will be considered that you have rejected him. Great tribulation comes next and then the White Throne judgment (Matthew 24: 21-22; Revelation 20: 12-15). The lake of fire is real just as heaven is real. The new heaven and new earth are real.
According to 1 Corinthians 15: 51-58, “Behold I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, mortal shall put on immortality.” Also, 1Thessalonians. 4:15-18 declares, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” What is as important today as this? Imagine where making a tragic decision not to fully accept the salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ will place you! For one, you cannot join the convocation in the air and clouds of glory; and you will eventually end up in the lake of fire which the Lord prepared for the devil and his angels.
Isaiah 57:15 says, “For thus saith the high and lofty One (Jesus Christ) that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in a high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Your decision to accept or reject the salvation and eternal life, that the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood to give us will determine where you will spend eternity. The choice is yours. Choose the Lord Jesus Christ today. He has promised “I will come and take you to myself” if you repent of your sins, confess them to the Lord Jesus Christ, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, right now. Now is the accepted time, now is the day of your salvation. Then you can have hope of the translation to happen, and millions missing.
