The “last days” are both prophetic and full of expectancy. The Bible says it is not the will of God that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2nd Peter 3:9. The last days in a brief summary has to do with all the events and situations that involve the saving and gathering of the Bride. This climaxes in the translation and end of the gentile times. It also includes the return of the Lord to the Jews. The Bible demands much from the believers, who are already saved and know the mind of God.

In these days of discontent it is important to avoid getting embroiled with the politics of today. Every Christian must be careful to balance his or her actions. Most importantly, do not get sucked into the intense political discussions going on around the world today; IT IS BOTH A DISTRACTION AND A MANIPULATION OF THE PEOPLE BY THE DEVIL. No matter what your views are and who you like or dislike among our leaders, you still have a scriptural responsibility towards them.

Apostle Paul in 1st Timothy 2:1-2 said, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings and all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all goodness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.” This is one of those areas that we all make blunders from time to time. We get partisan, embroiled in speculations, funny dreams and before you know it, you ignore the will of God for those in authority.

After the translation it will be a nightmare on the earth. The anti-Christ reigns as God allows him. Now these people in authority before the translation are faced with the same fate as the unbeliever if they are left behind after the rapture. We need to pray for all men, because we know the terror of the Lord, if one is left behind. Imagine Rev. 9:5 which reads, “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented for five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”

Let us pray for those in authority to be saved else the wrath of the Lamb awaits them. But remember to repent first if you have not been praying for those in authority previously; may be because of our partisan spirit.

Confession is good for the soul. If we are faithful to confess, God is faithful to forgive and answer our prayer, in Jesus Christ name, amen. The translation is near and that should be our focus, not getting engulfed in politics of uncertainty. Let us spend the limited precious hour left for us on the earth praying for the lost and preparing for our departure. All the political issues are distractions. The result includes many political prophets and prophetesses. Look at the air time, money and misinformation floating around. These are snares and hell has enlarged itself, with political and religious marriages and falsehoods. Be sober and vigilant for the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. Do not be trapped, and watch your words. We shall all give account of ourselves to God, amen.
