6: 1-16

When you are saved, you get it by the truth of the word of God, And Jesus is the only Way; when you are saved you go from death through sin to Life which is by Jesus Christ Only.

If you are not saved, then you have no business with “setting your affections on things above (heaven). Your affection will be on things of hell, lake of fire and death. But if you are saved then you can set your affection on things above: Where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For when you are saved, ye are dead to sin, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

VaGaratiya 2: 16-21

If you are truly saved then, then you can say, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

If Christ be in you and you know He sitteth on the right hand of God, then truly set your affection on things above. Let not sin have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey: whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; the works of the flesh such as fornication, idolatry, lies, covetousness, and more; for which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.

Rom. 6:9, “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”

After that Jesus Christ was of virgin birth by the Holy Ghost, he grew up and preached to the world the gospel of heaven and how to get into it. He announced it to Nicodemus when he told him that to enter the kingdom of God, a person must be, “Born Again.”

When a person is truly born again and the spirit of God comes into him and teaches him the ways of the Lord, then if he stays faithful to it, sin shall not have dominion over you or the person.

This is because you are dead to sin, also Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death. And the life which we now live in the flesh is by the faith of Jesus Christ. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, yes his kingdom.

Jesus is both Father and Son and the Holy Ghost. He played all the roles and fulfilled all the functions. He is all in all. That sin shall not have dominion over all faithful believers.

1 Johane 1:1-10

After you have been saved, if you go after worldliness, in no time, you will return to sin and bondage of the devil.

Remember Heb. 2:14-15, “For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

Sin is bondage and if sin has dominion over you then you are in bondage. The choice is always yours. What is it that will make you after salvation to start on a trail back to life of sin and bondage. Lust, according to James 1:14-15, “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” But as a faithful Christian; sin shall not have dominion over you.

Verse 16, “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

It is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen; (Blessed are those who believe without seeing, that’s ultimate faith).

Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and to God. Faith is both a fruit of the Spirit and a gift of God.

Matt. 21:22, “And all things, whatever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

Study Luke 8:43-48; you will see that inner confidence with you that no man can see or know, in touching Jesus Christ with your own trust and confidence in the word of God by the scriptures. The word is life if taken by unwavering faith.

Rom 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This word is ultimately from God, inspired by God through the work of the Holy Spirit; because Jesus also said, “Howbeit when the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (word): and he shall show you things to come. That is faith when you expect and believe it before it is manifested.

Study Matt. 8:5-13. Faith comes alive when we confess the greatness and powerfulness of God’s word from our heart without doubt. You can only please God by faith and your answer is assured.

Heb. 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: For he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Scripturally, hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His word and faithfulness.

In Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” The word and promises of God that never fail make up the anchor of our hope as Christians. Imagine what Jesus said in Matt. 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” This confident statement is one of the bedrocks of the Christians hope; because His promises shall surely come to pass, solidifying our hope.

Pisarema 42: 1-11

Hope is like waiting with trust and expectation. Remember, Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

God gives us the power to hope and that is a demonstration of God’s love for us. Hope given by him works together to give us confidence, joy, peace, power and love.

Remember 1st Tim.1:1, “And the Lord Jesus Christ which is our hope.”

Tito 2:13, “Tichitarisira tariro yakaropafadzwa, nokuonekwa kwokubwinya kwaMwari mukuru noMuponesi wedu Jesu Kristu.”

1 Petro 4:1-8

Jesus spoke about the two greatest commandments on which hang all the law and the prophets; and love (Charity) is a common and important factor. How do you measure yourself on this scale?

Charity suffereth long, is kind, envieth not, is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, thinketh no evil and is not easily provoked. Thinketh no evil.

John 14: 15-24

Love will cover a multitude of sins, when applied correctly on a person who needs to be restored.

Love not this world . Even if you give your body or life for any reason and hath not charity you are nothing and it profiteth you nothing.

Charity rejoiceth not in iniquity,, but rejoiceth in the truth. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity faileth not.

1st John 3:23, “That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.”

Worship is transformative: Worship of our God changes our lives through salvation. We must always love and appreciate what God did for us on the Cross of Calvary. Believing in what he did in Christ Jesus we are instantly transformed when we confess our sins and shortcomings and ask him to be the Lord of our lives. Then are we preserved in Him. And we are translated from death to live and that deserves our unconditional worship of Jesus Christ the Lord of glory.

Worship is renewing: When you are down and out, or when you wish to be renewed; the way is to worship the Lord. Acknowledge his greatness and our inadequacy, in all things.

John 4: 19-24

David made God his strong Tower, He took as his Shepherd, he took as his Salvation and much more. He said, Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name forever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The Lord preserveth all of them that love Him. He will fulfill the desire of all them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry and will save them.

When you count your blessings one by one you will see why you must give Him all the worship. Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good:sing praises unto his name for he is pleasant.

Psalm 100:3, “Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.”

Worshiping the Lord increases our confidence in Him; for then we know that all power belongeth unto Him.

Fear of the Lord implies Love for the Lord; for a believer.

Besides, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction; according to Proverbs 1:7.

Heb. 10:35, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath a great recompense or reward. And 1st John 5;14, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us.” How is your confidence?
