Grace is the spontaneous, unmerited gift of divine favor, concerning the salvation of sinners, furthermore the divine influence operating in individuals for their regeneration and sanctification, through believing and acceptance of Jesus Christ as sacrifice for your sin. Grace is God showing us mercy, love, compassion, kindness, and forgiveness when we don’t deserve it.

Jum 1

Grace in the Old Testament was received only in part, just like the Spirit of God came on them; but in the New Testament came the fullness of grace by Jesus Christ through the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. Not on the believer but in the believer.

Grace

Remember the song, “Marvelous Grace.”

John 1: 15-17

Efesin 2: 1-10

Lhud. 10: 19-38

John the Baptist bore witness to the grace of God, when he said, “This was he whom I spoke , He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”

This clearly tells us that when you talk or hear about grace it is directly connected to Jesus Christ. Our journey through this earthly life and our success in warfares against the works of darkness in by grace and our faith in that grace which is Jesus Christ. If the grace of God is not with you, then surely you are none of His. Grace brings us favors which we do not deserve. Remember that your salvation is by grace.

Efes. 2: 12-22

Lhud. 4: 14-16

Jesus Christ is on the throne from which all grace proceeds. In Israel in the Old Testament it was the mercy set or covering of the ark between the two cherubim and the high priest approached it yearly with the blood of atonement. And would be struck dead for any transgression. He approached with fear and trembling.

We New Testament believers can now come boldly to God’s throne of grace without fear or trembling because Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit that is in us is the one seated on the throne and He is grace. We come to him daily and anytime. This is the liberty, confidence and freedom of approach that we are commanded to keep the redemption of the purchased possession.

Eph. 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Genesis 3:21-24, “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. – – – So he drove out man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden, Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

That was the grace of God on man. Some animals’ lives may have been taken to cover man, but Jesus Christ shed his own blood for his grace to be in us. Grace keeps man away from the tree of life in his fallen state.

Grace in the Garden of Eden

Ftakar l-għanja, "Kbira hija l-fedeltà tiegħek."

Genesis 3: 1-11

Salm 23: 1-6

The beginning of sin was in the Garden of Eden. And it was man listening, accepting and working with the serpent against God’s word and instruction. In Genesis 2:16-17 the Lord God commanded man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. The serpent convinced Eve during the temporary absence of Adam, when Eve walked to the tree and there the serpent spoke to her.The serpent was resident there and Eve went to the spot she should have avoided. Study James 1:13-15. The serpent was not an apple tree as many people are made to believe. The serpent was in the form of a man, could reason, could talk. The bible says the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field and the satan abode in him with all evil. Whatever she ate with the serpent was not an apple to make one know that they were naked. Cain was of that evil one. Ġen 3:12-24

Lhud. 9: 24-28

Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commandment. And they died that same day. Firstly, they became separated from God, who used to come and take a walk with them in the cool of the day. Remember that a day to God is as 1000 years and 1000 years as one day, (2nd Peter 3:8) So man died within God’s one day.

Sadly, Adam who was given the commandment directly, did not give the serpent a second of his time, loved his wife the only person for him in the garden; and went astray . He loved his wife as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it, despite the evil of that old serpent, the prince of this present world. God’s grace kicked in as he must have killed an animal to cover man and his wife up and prevented them touch the Tree of life, lest they be lost forever. God’s love.

Heb. 9:27, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

Gen.3:21, “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of shins, and clothed them.”

Grace of God; instead of death.

Heb. 11:40, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

Grace on Enoch

Remember the song, “Just A Closer walk.”

Genesis 5: 18-24

Lhud. 11: 1-20

Enoch was the son of Jared who was 162 years old when he fathered or begat him. And Enoch lived 65 years and begat Methuselah. He was a prophet no doubt. And prophets sometimes made prophecies of their children’s names (study Isaiah 8:1-4; Hosea 1:6-9. Enoch named his son Methuselah, meaning, “When he dies, it will be sent” he prophesied by that name, the flood of Noah. He was a youth by the standard of that day, but he knew how to please God not found in any other human at that point. The great pyramid was connected to his day many researchers have written and inside the pyramid that survived the flood of Noah were found the Enoch circle. So he must have been associated with the building of the pyramid. Youngest of those to have children at a young age of sixty five. Also he was young during his translation. The bible said, he walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

God did not want him to see death, and so he translated him. Just like many faithful saints will experience soon at the translation. May it be testified on your behalf that you pleased God too at the translation.

Heb. 11:21-40-

1 Korintu. 15:50-58

Among the heroes of faith in God, Enoch was mentioned. He was the first man to be translated away from the earth. Very little was recorded in the scriptures about him. But for sure He worked and walked in a way that he pleased God. A youth at 365 years old when men could live 900 years. But he did and followed God in such a way that God took him away to be with him in glory. This was over 1000 years ago and he is still alive, waiting for us to be translated. Oh, don’t you take a chance and miss it. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. No doubt Enoch found grace with God that he translated; that he should not see death. Soon many will be translated without seeing death. That is the scripture. (Study 1st thess. 4:13). Heb. 11:6, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God, must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

JUM 4

Heb. 11:7, “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

Grace on Noah

Ftakar fil-kanzunetta, “Victory in Jesus.”

Genesis 6:1-9; 11-22 If you do the calculations, you will see that Noah was 500 years before he begat his three sons. And there was already great wickedness of man in the land. God was tired of striving with man. Every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Things were so bad that it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Then the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord,” (Gen. 6:7-8). Noah was the only one who found grace with God. His wife, children and daughter in laws believed in Noah to enjoy the grace of God., Genesis 7;1-24 Noah means, “This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.” But man became corrupted and all flesh upon the earth, with violence. So the Lord told Noah he had a plan to destroy all living creatures. But instructed Noah how to prepare an ark for the saving of all that he would appoint with him. God talked to Noah about all of the ark and the flood, the building of the ark. The birth and maturity of Noahs’ sons, getting married and the arrival of the flood were all within 100 years. Noah, have I seen, saith the Lord, righteous before me in this generation; that was grace upon Noah. Gen. 6:3, “ And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.”

Gen. 6:5, “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thought of his heart was only evil continually.”

Genesis 15:6,”And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness. – – – And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.”

Grace on Abraham

Remember the song, “ Precious Memories."

Ġenesi 12:1-8;

15: 1-15;

21: 1-7

Lhud. 11: 8-16

Abraham was asked by God to pack all he had and depart from his known family and country as he was a Syrian, from Ur of the Chaldees; (Gen. 12:1), unto a land I will show thee. He obeyed at the age of 75 years. His wife Sarah had no children. At the age of 90 years she gave birth to Isaac as God promised Abraham who was now 100 years old. It was the grace of God that Abraham received to still hold on to the promises of God, firstly abandoning his country and people, he had no children form Sarah until all hope was lost, but Abraham did not stagger at the promise of God; despite the trials. Ġenesi 17:5-19;

18: 1-15

Lhud. 11: 17-19

Through grace God made Abraham the Father of many nations. And make the Jewish nation from Abraham.

The Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?” This was finding grace with God.

In Isaiah 41:8, “But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.” The grace of God was found in Abraham; to be called MY friend by God.

Gen. 17:1, “The Lord said unto Abraham, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”

Heb. 11:19, “Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”

Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Luke 1:45, “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

Grace on Mary

Ftakar fil-kanzunetta, "Amazing Grace."

Luqa 1: 26-50 Prophecy and fulfillment are directed and ordained by God. When grace is mentioned, we do well to remember that grace is an unmerited gift and favor in the salvation of a sinner, and the divine influence operating in a person for their regeneration, sanctification and justification; in and through Jesus Christ only.

Isaiah 7:14, prophesied that the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. This Son had to come by the Holy Ghost through a human vessel. In all the world there were women, virgins to fulfill the prophecy; but God had to choose the virgin to dwell in and the grace of God fell on Mary.

Luqa 2: 25-38 God was coming to open the door of grace and salvation to whosoever will come to his Cross in faith.

Isaiah 9:6, confirmed it and was fulfilled in Mary as that grace was in and over her, still creating and directing the world from his throne of mercy in Mary’s womb. He was still answering prayers

(Matt. 1:20-21 study)

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.

Luke 1:28, “And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored (grace), the Lord is with thee: Blessed art thou among women.

Luqa 1:37, “Għax m’Alla xejn ma jkun impossibbli.”

Luke 1:41, “And it came to pass, that, when Eizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe (John the Baptist) leaped in her womb: and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost.”

Jum 7

2nd Peter 3:18, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.”

Grace on the believers

Ftakar fil-kanzunetta, "Fis-Salib."

Efesin 2: 8-9

Titus 2: 1-15

For the believer it is clearly stated in the scriptures of truth, that for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. This is godly made clear, that our salvation is by grace. This grace is only found in Jesus Christ and that is why by faith of him we look for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ our Lord. Have you really received this grace? ROM. 6: 14

Eżodu 33: 12-23

1st Corinth. 15:10

The word of God tells us about the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men; teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.

Jesus Christ is the grace of God. And by his grace I can do all things saith the scripture. Believest thou the scripture? The grace of God runs out, if you remain in sin and doubt.

Heb. 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
