Jesus Christ said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” (John 3:16). Also, John 1:12, reads, “But as many as received him (Jesus the Christ), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

To be a son of God you must believe in the name of Jesus Christ. You cannot have any other Father but he that gave you the “born again birth.” It comes through repentance and forgiveness of sin, by the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” (1st John 1:9). “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,” (1st Tim. 2:5-6). Jesus Christ is the Everlasting Father, (Isaiah 9:6) and He promised us son-ship and not grandson-ship. You are either confidently a son of God or you are not. God does not have grandchildren. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need,” (Heb.4:16). You have to go to God yourself, not through any man. The job of any preacher is to point you to the Lord. But nobody can repent for you, and how will you know you are a son of God if you are banking on grandson ship. God does not have grandchildren. You have to walk and work with the Lord and hear from him yourself. “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God,” (Rom.14:12).

Be careful replacing God in your life with your personal Levite, G.O, pastor or bishop etc. You have only one Father, God; watch how you call men father (spiritual idols; not your earthly father), daddy and mummy. Soon you will begin to obey ungodly visions, prophecies and revelations by these people. God does not have grandchildren. Remember Rev. 22:9, “See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.” God does not have grandchildren. Come to the throne of grace boldly, saith the scriptures.

You cannot have any one go to God on your behalf; as your father, but Jesus Christ the only mediator. Be careful of what some of these big men and women talk to you about. These may be contrary to the true word of God. The scripture is of no private interpretation, (2nd Pietru 1: 20-21). Only you will know if you are acting as a son of God or as a grandson. Hold to God’s unchanging hand as your Father and not as your grandfather. You will not get anything as a grandson because there is no scripture for it. He gave them power to become sons of God not grandsons. God made men sons of God; but men made men grandsons of God. The scripture cannot be broken.

God does not have grandchildren. God does not have grandsons. But God has sons. You are either a son of God or you are not. “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”(2nd Korintu. 13:5). God does not have grandchildren.
