Stewardship is rewarded appropriately

Bro Frisby, cd #924A, “So remember this: Satan’s A-1 tool is to discourage you away from God’s divine purpose. Sometimes, he (Satan) does for a while, but you rally under the power of the Word of God. No matter what you have done, no matter what it is, get a fresh start. Get a new start with the Lord Jesus in your heart.”

The Talents

Prisiminkite dainą „Didi tavo ištikimybė“.

Mattas. 25: 14-30 When you are saved and filled with the Holy Ghost; God gives you a measure of faith and the gift of the Spirit. It is your responsibility to use it all to the glory of God, the blessing of the church and your own blessing. Be about God’s business

In this parable, a man was traveling to a far country, like Jesus came into the world and was gone back to heaven. Sinners meet Jesus at the Cross here on earth for your salvation and when you believe, He gives you salvation and the Holy Spirit and you now have a connecting line to the heavenly. He gives each believer talents, which are the Lord’s goods. Some have more gifts than others, but it is not the number of talents or goods given to you that counts. What matters is your faithfulness. Now every man is supposed to use the talent God gave to them, for his heavenly kingdom. What are you doing with that which has been given to you?

Soon the Master will be back from his journey.

Know what work that God has trusted into your care and be thou faithful; for the hour has come and you must give an account.

Who do you work to please, man or God, Your G.O. or God, Your pastor or God, Your spouse or God, Your children or God and or Your parents or God?

Lukas 19: 11-27 The Master did not hide his journey completely, because in John 14:3, He said, “I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also.”

He is about to come back, but no one knows the day or the hour and it all calls for faithfulness, that when He comes the faithful servant will be found doing the Master’s business faithfully. Now what is the Master’s work for which He gave us talents.

Some are working hard and are bearing fruits, because they abide in him. No church leader gave you talents, so if you are working to please you denominational heads you are as good as bury the talents God gave you in the ground; same as saying (For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou latest not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. The Lord said, “Cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. But to the good servants the Lord said, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” That is what you pray to hear from the Lord based on what you have done with the goods or talents God gave you on earth now. Time is short, an account must be given.

Matt. 25:34, “Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Mattas. 25: 1-5

1st Cor. 15: 50-58

The parable of the ten virgins is another way the Lord has used to tell us things that will happen to all that dwell on the earth in the last days, before the rapture of the faithful believers. The solemn fact is that among those who profess Christianity some will be translated and others will go through the great tribulation and some among those are beheaded for their faith.

The ten virgins were likened to the kingdom of heaven, they all took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Like today every Christian is getting ready and expecting the translation.

The parable said, they were virgins, holy, pure, chaste, undefiled. But five were wise and five were foolish. So one can be a virgin, holy, pure but foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. That was wisdom, because you do not know what day or hour when the bridegroom shall return, enduring faith, will help you store and carry enough oil with your vessel; as you wait.

Matt. 25;6-13

2nd Tim. 3: 1-17

The Lord will come as a thief in the night, and you must keep watch for you do not know when. Only God knows the perfect definition of what constitutes midnight to him. Midnight will not be the same for every nation; and this is the big puzzle and wisdom of God in telling us , watch and pray and be ye ready also.

The cry was made at midnight and all the virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. The foolish discovered they were out of oil and their lamp needed oil. But the wise told them they could not give out their oil (Holy Ghost is not shared that way), but told them to go and buy from those that sold.

Who woke the ten virgins; those must have been awake all night and full of oil (the elect, the bride proper); who were the sellers of the oil (faithful preachers of the word of God); what kind of sleep was that; what kind of preparations did the virgins make; why was one group wise and what made them wise. Today, the wise and those that gave the cry and the sellers are all busy at their gospel duty posts. And when the foolish went to buy oil, the bridegroom came and those that were ready went into the marriage and the door was shut. The foolish have been left behind for the great tribulation. Where will you be? How much oil do you have? It will be sudden, as a thief in the night.

Tares and the wheat

Remember the song, “Hold to God’s unchanging Hand.”

Mat.13: 24-30 Jesus gave another parable that makes you know that this earth is made up of a great multitude that is made up of two groups of people. One group goes with the Lord God and believes his word and the other group sees Satan as their hope and champion.

He likened the kingdom of heaven unto a man who sowed good in his field: But while men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the good seeds (wheat), and went his way.

As the seeds grew the servants of the good man (God), saw tares among the good seeds and told the Master. He told them the enemy hath done this. The servants desired of the Master if they should weed out the tare. He said no, else in doing that you mistakenly uproot the wheat or good seed also. Let them both grow together until harvest time, (Wisdom of God, for by their fruits ye shall know them and harvest correctly).

Matas. 13: 36-43 The disciples privately asked him to declare unto them the parable. (The same parable is still in operation today and we are nearing the final harvest period). He that sowed the good seed is the Son of man, Jesus Christ. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one.

The enemy that sowed the tares is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers or harvesters are the angels

As the tares are gathered together in bundles and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all that offend, and them which do iniquity (Galatians 5:19-21), (Rom. 1:18-32). And cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

After this God will pour sunshine and rain to get the good seed to perfect maturity. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matt. 13:30, “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

The man on a far journey

Remember the song, “What a day that will be.”

Žemės 13: 37 Here the Lord spoke again in a parable to the people. He was pointing out to them about his departure from the earth and his return for an account. He took a journey and gave everyone on the earth who will accept his salvation to show forth their faithfulness to him: a work to do.

He took a far journey and before he did, he called his servants and gave them each their work. Nothing only that He gave them authority. That is power for each to execute their work. Today is a clear fact of what the parable was all about. Jesus Christ the Master came and died on the Cross to pay for the penalty of our sins and to give us opportunity at eternal life. Then when he rose from the dead and spent some time with his disciples, he gave them the work and the authority; ( Mark 16:15-17, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, (That is the work); He that believeth shall be saved and he that believeth not shall be damned. This is the work.) And these signs shall follow them that believe, In my name they shall cast out devils. In my name is the Authority.

Žemės 13: 35

Mattas. 24: 42-51

These two scriptures are both like a warning before it is too late to please God. In both instances it is talking about the strange ways by which the Lord will come after a long journey to a far country. Firstly, you know not what hour he will come back. Secondly, will it be in the evening or midnight or at cockcrowing or in the morning (there are different parts of the world with different time zones, and they will fall into these four categories) but you must watch and be ready. Thirdly, how faithful and law abiding were you in doing the work God gave you. Fourthly, the work you did, by what authority. These days people in the gospel work go seeking power and authority from other sources not of God. Jesus Christ is the name of authority to do the work given to you.

Now we are approaching the moment of accountability. Prepare to meet thy God, (Amos 4:12). God is soon to come back from a long journey and seeks the faithful servants. How do you measure up?

Matt. 24:44, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

Mark 13:37, “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”

Prodigalis sūnus

Remember the song, “Softly and Tenderly.”

Lukas 15: 11-24

2-asis kor. 7:9-10

This parable keeps catching up with people in many ways. People who are waiting for inheritance from parents and grandparents and other relatives who are rich. In this parable the Father had two sons, and he was rich.

The younger son asked his Father to give him his own portion of the inheritance, (at least he asked for it as if it were an entitlement. Today many children even kill their parents to get a hold of the inheritance) The Father gave him his inheritance.

And not many days after, the younger son gathered all his portion of the inheritance and left for a far country.

And there he wasted all his inheritance with riotous living. Soon there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. At the end of the age there will come famine and many people will begin to be in want. This is when to be sure your inheritance is anchored in heaven where there is no famine and your treasures are safe and you will never suffer any want.

He began to be hungry, and destitute. Looking for both a job, shelter and food; he joined himself to a citizen of that country to help him feed his swine. He was dead hungry and was willing to eat the husks meant for the swine but no man was willing to give him.

Then he came to himself, and said, “How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger. I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.” And he arose, and came to his father. (That was the remorse of the heart and acknowledgment of sin that leads to repentance in any sincere one).

Lukas 15: 25-32

Psalmė 51: 1-19

Since he took his inheritance and left home, his father was always expecting him to come home, always wondering what had become of him like most parents worry under such circumstances.

When a sinner decides to walk back to God he or she has a kind of repentant steps that only the Father can see. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, noticed the spiritual step and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck and kissed him. Unconditional love of the Father.

The son made his confession of sin to the Father. The Father asked his servants to bring the best robe, ring and shoes and put on him; kill the fattest calf, and let us eat and be merry (for a sinner has come home); For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.

The elder brother on his way home heard of much jubilation, and inquired what had happened. He was told all that the father had done for his younger brother and he was offended. Because he kept his own inheritance , stayed with their father, and the younger one took his own inheritance and wasted it and is now back, welcomed and entertained.

He accused the father of never giving him anything to celebrate with his friends.

Now remember the parable of the lost sheep. The Lord left the saved ninety and nine to go and seek for the lost one and when he found the sheep he carried it on his neck, like kissing the neck (by kissing the neck of the lost). The Jews are like the first born and the gentiles are like the second and prodigal son. Repentance means a lot to God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 15:18, “I will arise and go to my Father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.”

The Parable of the Fig tree

Prisiminkite dainą „Jis mane išvedė“.

Mattas. 24: 32-42 The Lord gave the parable of the Fig tree based on the three questions asked him in verse 3 of this chapter. The parable and sign of the fig tree has to do with the second advent that leads to the millenium. All the signs we are seeing today are all pointing to the great tribulation and the Armageddon war. The Lord did not give any specific sign for the translation. Any of it is implied, only the Parable of the fig tree causes a scare.

Thus we know that the gentile church and the Jewish church will not be here at the same time when Jesus comes to deliver the Jews at Armageddon. The gentile church should get out of the way when the two prophets begin to minister and confront the beast (anti-Christ). The fig tree which represents Israel, when it appears we know the rapture is near. This parable / prophecy is over 2000 years, which tells us something about the gentile time running out.

The gentile time has already run out and we are in a transition. The Lord will be ministering to individuals for the translation. He will give a cry from heaven, the dead in the grave who are dead in Christ will hear it and those who are alive and remain, but the unfaithful ones will not hear the cry of the Lord and will be left behind. You don’t want to be left behind for the man of sin will be in command of the earth for a short bloody time. The gentile time will have been over.

Rom. 11: 1–36 The end of the gentile time is made manifest each day as the fig tree continues to bud and the tender branches and putteth forth leaves ye know that summer is near. Also John 4:35, says, say not that there are four months before harvest, for the field is already white for harvest. The fig tree is already blossoming. Israel since 1948 has seen growth from desert to the agricultural hanger of the world, they have advanced, in science, education, medicine, technology, military, nuclear, finance, name any facet of life, Israel is at the forefront.

All these confirm the parable of the fig tree that when it buds and blossoms; you know that it is near even at the door. Here the Lord was referring to the Millenium time. But before that will be the translation of the church and the great tribulation. Remember that when the last three and one half years started the translation was already gone. The only sign is watch and pray and be ye sober and ready any moment it would happen.

Matt. 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

The rich man and Lazarus

Prisiminkite dainą „Sweet by and by“.

Lukas 16: 19-22

Heb. 11: 32–40

This parable explains to us the importance of drawing near to God while on earth. Believing, pleasing and working for him while on earth. When your days on earth are finished you cannot make changes when you arrive at your final destination. Because it would be too late. The blood of Jesus Christ washes away sins when you are on earth and not in heaven or hell or lake of fire. Lazarus was a beggar, which was laid at the gate of the rich man’s house, and was full of sores. And desired to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Now you can by your imagination enlarge the picture that the Lord painted of Lazarus. Firstly, he was a helpless beggar that had to be laid at this gate. The rich man saw him day in and out, but never considered taking him for treatment, to feed him or even to wash him clean, or invite him into his house. That was his time on earth to do the works of God. But he never cared to stop or help in any way. Flies must have been perching on Lazarus’ sores. Even the dogs leaked his sore. What a life to live on earth.

And one day Lazarus died, and was carried by the angel into Abraham’s bosom. For God to send angels it meant that Lazarus in all his challenges on earth was born again and was faithful and endured till the end, (Matt. 24:13). What a saint, was Lazarus, he overcame the world and all his trials, amen. Heaven is real. What about you?

Lukas 16: 23-31

20: 1-15

In this same parable, the rich man was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day; that he had no time to notice the beggar at his gate. He was blind to all that Lazarus was going through. But that was his test and opportunity on earth to show kindness, compassion and love; but he had no time for such people or such tests. He was living life to the fullest. The same is happening today to many people; both rich, and average people. God is watching everyone on the face of the earth.

Suddenly the rich man died and none of his wealth was buried with him so he could carry it to the next destination. Hell does not accept luggages and there is only entrance into hell and no exit and Jesus Christ has the keys of hell and death.

In hell the rich man was in torment, and lifting up his eyes seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom, no more sore, full of joy and peace and needed nothing. But the rich man needed water because he was thirsty; but there was none. He begged Abraham if Lazarus could dip his finger in water and drop to him to cool his tongue. But there was a gulf between them. Brother that was only the start of torment. Abraham reminded him of his lost opportunity on earth. He requested to go and warn his brothers on earth not to end up in hell, but it was too late for him. Abraham assured him that there were preachers out there as today if only the people would listen, take heed and repent. Hell is real. What about you?

Luke 16:25, “But Abraham said, “son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.”

Rev. 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
